Comfy bedding

Unclean bathroom very slimy and yuck. Very noisy can hear people slamming doors every five seconds

Great value for money

Excellent value for money for families. Nice and warm. Very clean. Great facilities. We always stay here.

The curtains aren't very dark/ block out and we had a huge window in cabin 1 so was very bright in our cabin at night. The other cabins are much darker. So will ask for one of those next time.

The mattresses were quite worn and you could feel the hard surface underneath, but for the price we paid I won't complain.

True camp lifestyle with opportunity for kids to run around in olayground and also take some time out amongst the trees and forest. Our cabin had heating and window with view to the yard.

Easy and no fuss, cool big playground for the kids and sheltered BBQ tables and BBQ next to it, fully equipped communal kitchen/lounge

The communal showers weren't the greatest, clean but the water would turn off mid shower and not turn back on

Great location, price and has everything you need to enjoy your stay and make yourself food. The cabin was adorable and worked great

Men's showers didn't have much to any room to put soap or shower stuff other than hangers, one of the lights doesn't work so bit dark and gloomy

Good facilities spoilt by people who didn't respect the rules or other people.

Well set up and warm in the kitchen and dining room

Unfortunately, there was a party in on our second night. There was a fair amount of alcohol consumed by them. They didn't respect the 10pm lights out and carried on til at least 1am. Even more unfortunately, many of them returned to the room right next door to us and carried on til 330 or 4am. Not a great night's sleep for my whole family. There was so much arguing that I didn't feel safe to go and ask them to quieten down. Perhaps there needs to be a patrol at 10 by staff to stop that kind of behaviour again.

We wont be going back

The kitchens seemed big but we couldnt as a group of people had stored there food on most of the surfaces.

We were only told 24 hours ahead of our stay that we would need to pay a late check in surcharge which was not in the terms and conditions when we booked weeks before hand. We arrived and wasn't able to drink any of the water on site without boiling it as it was contaminated, we didnt have time to let the water cool so had to drive back into town for drinking water, would have been great to know ahead of time so we could have picked up water before. There was a percussion band training or playing on arrival in the evening which was nosiy, and quite frankly awful. And one of the mattresses on the bed was a foam mattress which was really uncomfortable. The toilets were difficult to find at night, and sandflies came through the gap under the door in the morning.

Great staff, horrible rooms.

I am fully aware this was a cheap room for the night. I actually ended up leaving and not staying. The cabin room was tiny, very very old and unkempt. It was absolutely freezing. Sorry, not coming back ever.

The staff were amazing. But the room was tiny, malodorous, freezing, absolutely could not stay. Had to leave.
