Good place for a night or two on Isabela.

Comfortable hotel right on the beach with a friendly but assertive owner. We could see penguins and sea lions from the beach and great for swimming with littler kids. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning worked well. Great bar selection was well. Good deal.

The hotel has an odd layout and most rooms do not have a view.

Niska jakość w stosunku do wysokiej ceny

Piękne miejsce, przy plaży, czyste pokoje, dobrze wyposażone, bardzo miły i pomocny barman/ kelner. Właściwie on w tym hotelu robi najwięcej.

Pani na recepcji lekko roztargniona, zapłaciłam za sniadanie, pani zapomniała to wpisać, trudno cokolwiek tam dogadać, cena sniadania w stosunku do jakości.. dużo lepsze śniadanie można zjeść na mieście w rodzinnych restauracjach. W hotelu o takim standardzie śniadanie powinno mieć dużo lepszy wybór. Chleb tostowy, szynka, ser, najtańszy jogurt i jajecznica która długo parowała w bemarze wszystko to w wysokiej temperaturze. Do godziny 16:00 nie można nic kupić, właściwie nikogo nie ma.. powinna mieć jedna osoba dyżur przynajmniej w hotelu który ma kategoryzacje gwiazdek.

Nächstes Mal auf Isabela wieder ein besseres und preiswertes Hotel.

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Strand, wie in der Ausschreibung beschrieben. Das Zimmer war ok, sauber,ebenso das Bad.

- Es wurde bereits 6 Wochen vor dem kostenlosen Rücktrittstermin die Kreditkarte belastet und das Geld abgebucht. Bei dem Preise der Unterkunft und 5 Nächten war das ein nicht unerheblicher Betrag. - Das Frühstück ist bei dem Preise nicht angemessen, Wenig Obstauswahl (Äpfel und Wassermelone), Spiegeleier über Stunden warmgehalten. - Obwohl man uns einen Tag vorher zugesichert hatte uns das Frühstück 15 Minuetn früher (6:45) als üblich zu servieren wurden wir unhöflich darauf hingewiesen, dass das Frühstück erst ab 7:00 fertig ist. So kann man bei frühen Touren kein Frühstück erwarten. - Im Zimmer kein geschlossener Schrank vorhanden, lediglich 2 Regalbretter und Kleiderstange mit 5 Bügeln, alles offen für 2 Personen. Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft nicht dem Standard, dem man bei diesem Preis mindestens erwarten kann. Leider war auch das Personal eher ungehalten oder unwillig auf Wünsche (mehr Kleiderbügel, Frühstück) einzugehen. Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Eine Kreditkartenbelastung 6 Wochen vor einem möglichem Rücktritt ist ein Unding!

Relaxing!

Convenient location, 5mins walk to the center of the town, 10-15mins walk to the ferry pier/ Concha de Perla, travel agent right outside the hotel with good price. Rooms are clean.

Breakfast is below average for the price and the level of service they provided. Limit option for protein and fruit. Avoid the last room in the last row if you prefer to have some sunset and plan to have tons of water activities that need to line dry the cloths

We were a bit confused at the beginning, cause the guy who welcomed us was kind of unfriendly during the whole check-in process and told us that we don’t have breakfast included, whereas we booked incl. breakfast. Furthermore we had some ants in our room, which was a bit annoying.

A very warm welcome at the reception, a flexible check-in, fast and easy communication, great location, supporting stuff (also in arranging tours on the islands) and hearing the ocean at night if you keep your door open

I really enjoyed our stay. Jimmy did a great job organizing our tours.

The room was large and the location was great-right on the beach and very close to Concha Perla and to town (very walkable location).

Beautiful location! All rooms face the beach. They have space for about 30 people. Private beach of the property is never crowded. Their bar open from 3pm until 7/8 pm at night. We ordered food there a couple of time after our kids were finished swimming in the ocean. Their is a separate building across the street that serves as a welcoming space as well as a breakfast area (7-9) am daily. The lobby was an outside waiting area. Staff was wonderful! They helped us book local tours and transportation for the tours when we arrived.

For anyone who is first time traveler to the Galapagos: As in all of Ecuador and of course also true in the Galapagos. You cannot flush toilet paper. You must throw it in the trash. They have appropriate receptacles for paper and hygiene products.

the place idd so beautiful and location is good, rooms were facing the beach and nice , Juan the owner was super helpful and friendly

breakfast time was short and limited the AC was very noisy and we heard the engine of the other room too. check out time at 9:00 am is very early but they gave us 1 room till 11

Overall, loved our short stay

The location of the hotel was great. Staff were very nice, friendly, kind, and helpful. Service was good. Breakfast was good. The beach out front was beautiful.

The outside appearance is quite rundown. The rooms are small with extremely old furnishings and bedding and the beds are uncomfortable. Basically for the cost I would've expected alot more. If I had paid maybe 80$ a night for this I would likely be leaving an excellent review. Just wasn't worth the cost.

location on the beach was incredible. very calm and chill vibe in the shared areas. the rooms were self contained and very comfortable.

It was a wonderful stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.

one day our two friends and my wife were sickened by food at an off site restaurant. the owners of Isamar opened their kitchen and made chicken soup for the sick members of our party. it was above and beyond the call of duty.

Most lovely and helpful staff, nice beachfront bar and relaxation area.

The check in experience was amazing, so much information and support, and the person at the bar was also so kind and helpful and even helped me open my own bottle of wine and gave me two wine glasses to use. I wanted to give him a nice tip, but the bar closed just after 8pm and then I had to get up and catch the ferry at 5:30am the next day, so I didn't see anyone and felt bad about not leaving a tip, but at least wanted to leave a great review. Nicest, most helpful staff that really make you feel at home and free drinking water, which I really appreciate!!

It's a bit expensive, but it was also high season when I stayed and it was my last night in the Galapagos, so I decided to splurge.

Great days on Isabela Island

The hotel has an exceptionally good location on the beach; in the evening a small beach bar with cocktails, beer, snacks is offered on the terrace. Upon request, with prior reservation, dinner can also be taken here. The hotel recommended us a very good provider for renting bikes and tours (just ask at the reception).

After our check out we were able to take a shower in the hotel after our excursion

Don’t expect to get the sea view room as presented on the pictures: only two of the ten rooms have this view. There was too much light in our room as one window didn’t have a curtain. The breakfast was pretty basic

A bit expensive for what you get. Yes, there is direct beach access, however hardly any rooms have beach/sea view and you would need to pay extra for that on the already high price.

Beach chalets

The rooms are right on the beach, after you check in at the main building you are walked down to these amazing rooms! This place is absolutely perfect, charming, clean, comfortable room, & bathroom. You feel like you are staying at a beach front resort. I would not hesitate to book here again. It’s right next to the port. There is a nice beach bar that serves drinks and food. And breakfast is available in the main building for an economical price.
