A little oasis

Its actually not as far out from the main road as I thought. but definitely helps having a car as the taxis on the island are super expensive. Would recommend hiring through Woodside as its more affordable if you're a guest. The room was clean, tidy and warm and quiet. Views are fantastic. The bathroom was bright with a large shower. The bed was super comfy. I wish I had more time to make use of the sauna and bath tub but we were out and about exploring the island

The guests next to us made our stay a little uneasy but that's no fault of our host.

Utterly stunning sojourn

Utterly beautiful and perfect retreat. Quality accommodation. Very welcoming and private. Loved the deck, cabana, views of the bay and bush, birdsong and comfortable interior. 👌

Amazing 🤩 Super comfortable bed, great shower & amazing views.

The views were amazing!!! We had incredible panoramic views AND with the flax bushes & flowers right in front of the window we also had the added blessing of seeing Tui birds very close up, coz they love the nectar as well as bees coming for their share. It was a constantly changing view - up close & far away. Definitely helped the chill factor!!!

Only the half mile of gravel road… which wasn’t a big deal at all.

The property's rural setting provides stunning morning views and a peaceful atmosphere

The property was located in a very rural area so I struggled a lot driving there, roads to get there are all unpaved and very narrow I wouldn’t recommend driving there when is dark. When we arrived there we saw the cockroach and they didn’t do anything about it. Also remote control didn’t had batteries so we had to get them so we couldn’t use the heat pump either which significantly impacted the overall experience. These inconvenience while traveling with my mother, made the stay feel less worthwhile for the cost.

Beautiful scenery but disappointing facilities, cleanliness and communication. Difficult to get to cheaply.

Very difficult to get to without spending a fortune on taxi’s - very expensive on Waiheke. Cockroaches in the kitchen. Big ant’s nest in the sauna. Aircon not working - very difficult to get appropriate help to sort, poor communication from owner and manager. Broken dishwasher. Not very clean property in general.

Exceptional

Absolutely stunning location, easy to find and the most spectacular views! Highlight was sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the water. The barn was very comfortable and warm, huge space with lots to do. Great to watch tv on the large projector screen. Enjoyed the cabana bath and sauna on-site. Peaceful, serene and loved the sound of the rain on the roof at night. We will definitely be back

We loved our stay and were lucky enought to be the only ones there that weekend.

The location was beautiful and fairly easy to find, close to things needed yet quiet and peaceful. We loved having the sauna and outdoor bath available and the cabin had everything we needed for our short stay. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable.

The sink in the bathroom, it looks pretty, but wasn’t practical. Also a slight issue with ants.

Would definitely visit again maybe in hotter weather. You need a car unless you are young and fit!

The high position, views were wonderful! Warm clean.

The shower needs looking at, water making its way out of the shower entrance . Not sure what can be done though. I loved the large open window but it would be better without the black cloth, found it difficult to look out, made my eyes go funny. Maybe a sash window. Or clear plastic on remote.

Comfortable, had all the amenities - very clean

Very easy, we hired the VW too and followed instructions, that was also easy to find!

I would of liked more privacy, we stayed in the SKY chalet, and I just would of liked some kind of fencing etc. as your neighbors and the larger house can see everything.

Wished we could have stayed longer a really good location to relax unwind and destress.

The location and outlook is superb. The accommodation functional with a modern feel to the furnishings and fitted with the majority of appliances and utensils you have at home. I would certainly recommend this establishment to my friends.

A relaxing getaway, perfect for anniversaries.

My partner and I loved the bath that overlooked the ocean. We also loved the view from our bedroom and how quiet and tranquil the location was.

All too short. We visited Stonebridge Vineyard

This was a self contained very comfortable chalet. Breakfast was not included. Tea and coffee were provided. Provisions need to be purchased ideally from the local store before arrival. The scenery from the chalets overlooking Woodside Bay is stunning. It is a very peaceful and relaxing location.

Really, there was nothing to dislike here.

Perfecting relaxing getaway

The view! Such a magical location, very clean and comfortable chalets that were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Steve was incredibly helpful and kind and made the logistics of our trip very easy. Although in a more remote area of the island, it was still only 10 minutes from town (Ostend) so we really had the best of all Waiheke worlds - but if you want to explore, definitely take advantage of the hire car. Will be thinking about those big windows that overlooked the water for a very long while.

Location and view was spectacular. Bed super comfortable and nicely set out.

Not that clean, unfortunately. Bathroom floor was dirty and our white floor mat was filthy from the floor. Bathroom tiles towards the bottom have mould in them. Ants abound
