A little remote, access from all sides involved single track lanes, but had a great time

Large, clean and comfortable room. Very large, well appointed bathroom Breakfast was simple, but very nice. Dinner, with the added entertainment of a close up magician, was great value. Food was excellent.

Noisy pumps somewhere adjacent to the room, fortunately stopped before bedtime, otherwise sleep would have been a problem. As it turned out, not an issue that disturbed us when it mattered.

Location was excellent,but you definitely need a car.

Cleaners we're far too loud,also bringing their children into work I feel is a health and safety matter.When we left our room to go out the cleaners child was lying on the stairs with his phone also on the floor, the cleaner was there too,I told her this is not good when we're trying to get down the stairs and she just smiled.We had to step over her child luckily we didn't fall!!!! Over!!!

A very clean place to stay with good food and very good value for money

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and given our keys. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, the shower was absolutely wonderful and everything was very clean. Breakfast was cooked very well and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly and polite and we would thoroughly recommend The White Lady.

We were going to have an evening meal in the bar on Thursday evening, but we went somewhere else instead. The reason for this was the offensive and bad language from the men sitting in the bar. We didn't want to sit and listen to that whilst we ate our food. That was a shame as I'm sure the food would have been excellent.

Can't be changed but guests need to know the church clock chimes every hour... If the window is open on a hot night it is LOUD if your a light sleeper !,

Our favourite go to hotel when staying in Norfolk.

Visiting family close by so really handy. Spotlessly clean, with a gorgreous bathroom, and comfy bed. Warmly welcomed back (2nd visit here), and the staff at breakfast were really friendly and obliging.

Only one tiny criticism - a full length mirror would be appreciated in the bedroom.

Could do better.

The smoke detector went off twice during my second night whilst I was asleep. I informed the owner but nothing was done about it. As sleep time approached on my third night the smoke detector squawked again twice (very loudly as they do). I phoned the owner but all he could say was he was sorry about it. Fortunately it didn’t do it again during the night. Examination of the smoke detector revealed it should have been replaced 16 months earlier. The room was cool. One radiator was very slightly warm and the other did not come on at all. A lick of paint here and there wouldn’t have come amiss. I asked for a receipt twice but they would not give me one. I was told I had to get one from Booking.com but I paid them on my arrival. I travel a lot so I know when you pay the hotel they issue a receipt.

A good overnight stay after a long journey.

Very good breakfast. Perhaps a wider choice for the evening meal. All staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely building and setting and an extremely 's quiet room for a good night's rest.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you to all concerned.

Very good

Wasn't the weekend I originally planned but had a very good stay anyway. The accommodation was excellent and the pub very friendly and enjoyable.

The weather could have been better ha ha but the property was very comfortable and enjoyable
