Incroyable

Chambre très confortable, bon petit déjeuner, personnel très gentil! Possibilité de louer un scooter sur place sans problème. Nous avons eu un soucis avec le scooter dans le centre de Ubud et en 15min, le personnel de l’hôtel était sur place pour nous aider!

A beautiful place to stay with the most incredible staff ❤️

This property was beautiful. It was just outside of the busy streets of Ubud but yet so close to everything with it being just a 10/15 minute drive away. We got a beautiful breakfast every morning from our balcony which over looked the jungle. Something we could never experience at home! The staff were amazing!! So friendly, polite and helpful! We came back everyday to a freshly cleaned room with fresh bottles of water left out for us. Wayan and Ayu have a beautiful place and helped us from the minute we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed, offered advice and gave us an insight into Balinese culture and their life. They even brought us on a tour to a waterfall and to a temple where Wayan gave us an insight into their way of life. I could not recommend this accommodation and these people enough. Thank you for everything ❤️

Das Personal und die Eigentümer der Unterkunft sind so nett! Meine Freundin war krank und sie haben sich so nett gekümmert und halfen uns mit allem! Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und bietet einen tollen Blick direkt in den Dschungel! Also sehr empfehlenswert!

Da die Unterkunft sehr nahe am Dschungel ist muss man mit den ein oder anderen Tierchen (Geckos, Ameisen, Moskitos) rechnen aber das ist meiner Meinung nach überall so in Dschungel nähe! ☺️

Perfekte Unterkunft für entspannte Nächte nah an Ubud fernab des Trubels

- super freundliches u. hilfsbereites Personal - absolut herzliche Besitzer, die bei unserer Abreise extra früh aufgestanden sind, um uns bei strömendem (!) Regen mit den Koffern zu helfen - traumhafter Pool mit Blick in den Dschungel - Klimaanlage kühlt perfekt - Talzimmer (unser Zimmer) am ruhigsten, alles in allem sehr entspannend - Besitzer geben bei Bedarf auch gerne Hilfestellung bei den Miet-Rollern (reichlich vorhanden) - kleine Outdoor-Küche und mittelgroßer Kühlschrank vorhanden

- nichts auszusetzen :)

Ne-au acuzat pe nedrept ca am furat

am fost acuzați pe nedrept ca am furat incaltaminte din cazare. Atașez pozele.

Am stat Doua nopți la aceasta cazare, iar după ce am plecat spre următoarea locație, În Jimbaran, am primit un SMS pe telefon sa ne întoarcem de urgenta la cazare sa inapoiem o pereche de încălțăminte ,pe care au spus agajatele ca ne-au vazut cand am furat-o , altfel cheamă politia. I-am cerut numărul de telefon al managerului cazării , deoarece noi nu am furat nimic, sa ne arate înregistrarea camerelor de supraveghere , deoarece erau peste tot camere. Angajata respectiva ne-a dat numărul de telefon al altei angajate , pretinzând ca este managerul localului, încercând sa scoată bani de la noi , santajandu-ne cu politia și cu faptul ca vom rămâne blocați pe insula dacă nu le dam banii sau încălțămintea înapoi. Am luat legătura cu booking, unde am primit numărul de telefon real al managerului cazării, care a spus ca după ce a urmărit camerele de supraveghere, își cere scuze din cauza a ceea ce s-a întâmplat și ca a fost o neînțelegere. Aveți mare grija cu aceasta cazare și cu acele angajate, vor vrea bani de la voi prin orice metode. nu recomand sa ajungeți acolo !!! Nu ne-am fi pretat la a fura o pereche de încălțăminte, este injositor pentru noi , dar comportamentul lor este josnic, iar amenințările angajatelor de la curățenie sunt periculoase.

L’accueil est agréable et chaleureux. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une belle vue sur la jungle. La salle de bain est grande, décorée à la Balinaise et très bien équipée . C’est ni trop près ni trop loin du centre de Ubud avec un scooter, C’est idéal. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Je recommande.

A short distance from Ubud centre but in a natural quiet place.

The view from my terrace was of the jungle with all its noises and birds and trees. A perfect way to relax. Breakfast great. My room spectacular. If you love nature this is a wonderful spot.

Nice hotel for a very quiet nature getaway

- Amazing staff, the owners are a lovely couple who were very friendly and super-helpful with everything. - Huge room, with a massive bathroom, and a huge balcony overlooking the jungle. - Nice pool in front of the room to chill - Very nice breakfast, which they bring to your balcony. - Very quiet spot, surrounded by nature. Perfect for a romantic holiday, away from the touristy part of Bali. - great location to take a tour of Ubud from.

- The area was a bit too quiet for me. A couple of small shops nearby, but that's about it. Not a big issue if you have a scooter or use Grab Bike, it's about a 15 min ride to the centre of Ubud. Best for couples to have a quiet holiday. - It's pretty much in the jungle, so you should expect a few creepy-crawlies here and there. - lots of stairs to get to the rooms from the street level. Not an issue, personally, but might be for some. Luckily, the lovely staff takes your luggage to and from the room for you.

The villa's location close to nature is very suitable for those of us who wanted to spend time in a quiet location.

Relaxing and beautiful!!

We got so surprised about location- it was so much better then the photos. you had an amazing jungle just in front of your apartment. Vi also got upgraded to the luxury room because the owners noticed I was pregnant. So kind!!!! The breakfast was great we had a yummy omelet, fresh fruit, a smoothie and coffee. Didnt want to leave. We will for sure recommend this place to all our friends.

Incredible view from room and just great energy with lovely owners

I love it, so beautiful and comfortable place to stay.Waking up to jungle view with sound of birds. Ayu and her hubby were so amazing with service, they take care of us and our queries,helped us also with transports and trips. Breakfast in the balcony in your room and then get a swim was fantastic combination. Clean ,bright, well served

Prima accommodatie, maar wel een lange trap

Fijn zwembad, erg vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam personeel, maakte elke dag goed schoon.

We hadden ontzettend veel last van mieren, vooral in het keukentje (waar we eten moesten bereiden voor onze 1-jarige baby). Het keukentje was daarnaast ook een beetje oud/smoezelig. De locatie is iets verder weg van Ubud, wat opzich oke is, behalve dat de accommodatie alleen bereikt kan worden door een lange trap (niet handig als je een buggy hebt of slecht ter been bent).

De accommodatie viel ons tegen, hadden er veel meer van verwacht

Het personeel was erg aardig. Omelet was lekker bij het ontbijt. Ook lekkere watermeloensap.

Het was niet zo mooi als op de foto’s op Booking.com voorgesteld werd. Wij dachten heel mooie kamers/huisjes te hebben met idyllisch jungle view uitzicht. Maar er stonden een paar huisjes nog voor. Zwembad was superkoud en niet uitnodigend. Te weinig kastruimte en te weinig planken of tafeltjes om spullen op te zetten, ook in de badkamer geen ruimte om je spulletjes neer te zetten. Keukentje oud en krakkemikkig.

The stay was just great, totally recommend this place for a longer stay in Ubud.

The bungalow was extremely beautiful, nicely decorated and tidy. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide choice of dishes and juices. We also got a floating breakfast one day (additionally paid 100k rupees) which was served perfectly. The staff was really nice and helpful, we also rent a motorbike which was very modern and comfortable. The relation price-quality was fair.

Lovely, Quaint Stay

Ayu Duwur Beji was a superb first experience of staying in Ubud. From the jungle backdrop and the quaint, spacious living to the wonderful hosts and their constant willingness to help in any given situation (such as scooter hire + activity booking at great prices), I highly recommend this location if you're seeking a subtle yet comfortable stay that's perfectly situated an even distance between Ubud Town Centre and the Rice Terrace.

Sadly the only issue we faced was the coming-and-going of water to our room. It was a roll of the dice on whether the sink tap, toilet, or shower would work.

Perfect 2day sray in Ubud

The room was big big and very clean. The views from the balcony were beautiful and they serve breakfast there, wich was very good. The staff was very kind and help us on everything we asked, even renting a motorbike.

Bad vibes, adversarial owners in a poorly kept property

I like the general location of this hotel, in a nice quiet village. It’s a fair hike down to Ubud, but you can take the path through the rice fields that starts across from The Pengkolan Warung (the path and the warung are both lovely). The room was kind of run-down but it was clean.

Firstly, I found this place to be very overrated and overpriced, to be honest, I’m sorry to say. I cannot believe that it’s a called a 3-star hotel. I’ve added photos of this place so you can see what the official photos don’t show: the broken and/or poorly kept aspects of the room and grounds, the run-down building just next door, the many, many steep steps up to the road, etc. All of this would have been fine with me if this had been represented and priced honestly, but... The other important thing to be aware of is that if you have any issues at all during your stay, you’ll be treated like an adversary. This happened to me twice during my short stay, and I was extremely uncomfortable – I was very eager to leave. First, when my laptop couldn’t access the internet via their (unsecure) wifi (but could on my phone’s hotspot), I asked them if they could reset the modem. Wayan was bizarrely combative about this simple thing – he kept repeating his internet is excellent and I obviously needed to go get my laptop repaired, etc. He seemed angry. In addition, Wayan took *great* personal offense to the fact that I still take some Covid precautions. Just before I went to bed, I started getting a string of nasty messages from him via his wife, Ayu, on WhatsApp. They said that I was engaging in “defamation of Bali” by not believing that Covid is 100% gone from the planet, and that they were very offended. They sounded very angry and vaguely threatening, with language like “we might snap at you,” and saying that they would not help me to take my luggage up the (very many, very steep) stairs when I left in the morning. I honestly felt pretty afraid, and extremely unwelcome. I have traveled a lot, but never experienced anything remotely like this anywhere else. Even if we were to assume that my laptop was at fault and my Covid precautions were unreasonable, it’s still astonishing how adversarial Wayan quickly became over such small things. I cannot recommend this place.
