Good and bad

I dealt with one staff member and I can not say one bad thing about her. She was very friendly, super nice and understanding. She always cleaned the room very well. I loved that I always had fresh, clean and warm towels every day. You also receive a welcome basket with some goodies to which I found was a nice personalize touch. The location is great, you are not too far from the centre and it is quiet at night so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. Honestly due to location and the staff i am giving this place a higher review.

At first I was puzzeled by the room as it was so small and didnt look like the pictures from the booking. I will attach a picture of the room since the owners only put pictures of the bigger/prettier rooms. In the booking it was also mentioned i would have a sofa but to my surprise it didnt. We had a lot of luggage so it made our room very crowded and not much space to move around.Thankfully for the staff member i dealth with since day 1, she explained that in order to get the room as per the pictures from booking.com it would be called standard room and the small room we booked is called the large room. Doesnt make sense but at lease we have that clarified.

The location was great!

The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The toilet wasn’t clean. We expressed that we were being woken up by the upstairs guests at night and in the morning and they ignored our message.

Nice and cosy flat, clean with a well equiped kitchen situated clese to the center.

Nice and cosy flat, confortabile bed, big balcony, good internet, good location, well equiped kitchen.

The flat was on the last floor, so during the day it become very hot. But it is good there is an AC. In the last day, some workers were on the roof of the building and they almost entered insude our balcony. :)

Super Duper Stay, Not Much to Not Like

Luxury on a budget, WOW. Spacious room, well appointed. A/C, nice bathroom, kitchen adequate but a bit sparsely equipped. Bed, OMG, heaven on earth. The bed itself is very comfy (I mean out of this world comfortable), the linens and pillows magnificent, makes you just want to stay in bed (and I’m traveling alone). Good location, several decent restaurants within walking distance. Very nice for great price. No parking except in lot 200M or so away (which can be full). Worst is “sheets” instead of rolls provided for toilet paper (see picture). Never know when sheets are going to run out (could prompt a potty emergency - LOL) and no spares around. Bought some rolls, just in case. A crime against humanity I say.

Good location. Key was left to us on the counter, so we could arrive late. Door code sent by message. All basic things for a stay provided. Recommend.

Floors/ceilings thin. Heard someone walking above us all the time quite loudly.

Easy check in and check out. I liked that there was a kitchen with appliances. It felt like an apartment.

Spacious apartment only a few minutes walk from the centre

Whilst we were staying there, the apartment above was at times noisy at night (not a party, just very heavy footsteps/sounds - person above walking around in the middle of the night?- poor soundproofing?), and the drains for the bathroom were smelly. On another occasion this might not be an issue!

Perfect for a last night in the Azores

Good location, clean, good size room. Very helpful staff at check in. We arrived early and they let us store our bags in reception until rooms were ready.

Air-conditioning unit was broken, cupboard doors were a bit loose, generally fittings were clean but very cheap and very flimsy. Did not have a high quality feel to the place. Because of the location and convenience this did not matter

The room/flat was very spacious and with a balcon. It was quite clean and the forniture is nice. There was a kitchen available and big windows.

There are not many places where to put stuff and no real wardrobe. There should have been the towel change every 2 days, but we didn't have it and there was no room cleaning during the 3 night we stayed there.

We loved our stay in this place.

The apartment was large and clean. The place is located near the city center, two large supermarkets, big public parking and a shopping mall. The apartment was cleaned on demand for free. The view from windows was on a school playground.

We got apartment on the top floor and the stairs were rather steep. It was quite humid despite AC working on dry mode. There could be more drying racks. There was nobody on the reception. So nobody to ask if you have question.

Not clean, badly furnished, couldn't sleep from neihboring noise.

Not clean (WC wasn't flushed from previous guests!!!). Looks nice but is in fact extremely cheaply furnished and also incredibly humid (molding in the shower). Looks like the room was built from what was a corridor, you can see through the thin wall through the ceiling. In the backyard one house away there were dogs barking the entire night! We literally didn't sleep.

Clean, convenient, and pretty much a great place to stay as a home-base to explore the island.

Excellent location in the city. Very close to a grocery store to pick up things that you will need while exploring the island. Close to the "downtown" section where a lot of restaurants are located. Could not remember if parking came with the unit but ample street parking nearby. The room was a lot bigger than we expected and we even cooked one night in the fully stocked kitchen. Was able to make ourselves breakfast each morning as well which allowed us more time to explore. Very clean and well-kept space. Not a lot of additives but for the price, it's an excellent value!

One thing to mention is that we could hear the people who were staying above us walking around. Not a deal-breaker but request to stay on the top floor if you're a light sleeper.

The room was basic but perfect for a launch pad. The only thing that was a bit odd was that we never saw any staff- there was noone ever at reception to ask questions to, and we stayed for 3 nights.

Ok, but we stayed in better ones for the same money.

The room was spacious, kitchen had all pots and pans one needs for a short stay (except salt, pepper & oil).

The house is by a busy street. If you are a light sleeper and get a street side apartment, earplugs come in handy. I'd say the pics look a bit better than what you get in reality. We stayed in three apartments at Ponta Delgada and in the two other we got a better room for the same money.

Great place to stay for your active vacation

We loved the place. Very nice apartment in centre of Ponta Delgada fully equipped with everything you need for active vacation. It was exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen has basic equipment - small fridge, small electric cooktop, some kitchenware. Bathroom is small but sufficient with small heater. Bed is very comfy. Room cleaning service is available upon request. Parking is not available directly on the street, but there are two free public parkings within 3 minutes walking distance. There is also a big shopping mall nearby with every store and services you might need including laudromat. Self check-in / check-out was easy.

The walls are bit thin and we were hearing noises from the room above, hence the 9* rating. Otherwise, I'd give 10*.

Clean and modern rooms within walking distance to everything in Furnas

A clean and modern apartment with a very easy checkin process. I think it was especially thoughtful to include beach towels to take to the local hot springs.

The shared kitchen didn't have a hob or cooktop. I think it's essentially for people wanting to cook a meal!
