Four nights of memorable urban luxury- the Palazzo provides a very special ambience and service

We have stayed in many different types of accommodation in Italy over many years. This was exceptional in so many ways. The website describes it as an urban luxury house. I can only add that it is stylish and elegant without being pretentious. The staff (and the owners)are thoughtful, kind and gracious. Breakfast is a delight with an extensive range of juices, fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, bread and delicious pastries and biscuits. And the selection of drinks and "nibbles" at"Aperitivo" was a great start to eating out at local restaurants. The staff provided a list of recommended restaurants which stood us in good stead. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and regularly refreshed. Throughout the Palazzo there were wonderful evocative fragrances, and interesting collections of traditional and contemporary objects and paintings. The weather was mixed but we were exceedingly comfortable and look forward to returning in sunnier months to enjoy the garden.

Mind-blowing experience - we are definitely coming back!

This was the most amazing hotel we’ve ever been to. Even compared to our experience in Four Seasons - this was very much on par! The hotel is situated right in the heart of Como, making it a max of 10 min walk to any desirable direction around the town. Our room was super cozy and authentic, giving us a real “old money” feeling and experience. The team and their hospitality were out of this world! From the beautiful 6-course breakfast experience to incomparable aperitivo to accommodating any of our requests. Elena and her team took complete care of us. We felt like home.

Fabulous time in a very luxurious yet traditional hotel.

Great room. Sauna in the shower was amazing. Julie was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast experience was fantastic. Great location.

Some staff could be more accommodating. Rooms did not have phones. No welcome pack on arrival.

Would recommend to anyone going to Como.

The breakfast was very good and the service was top notch everyone their remembers your name and is very personable. The location is great, located within walking distance of all the shops and top restaurants. The shower is one of the best i have ever had and the A/C in the rooms is excellent, very comfortable beds.

Exceptional

The breakfast and the service was mind blowing. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had! You can see the amount of love and effort the staff put in welcoming the guests and individually preparing the different courses for each table! I had booked the hotel based on the pictures of the room but the pictures do not do the rooms justice. The size of the room and the decor far exceeded the expectations. Our spa tub was super relaxing and our beds were incredibly comfy. This was more than what I could have asked for me and my fiance. The 15th century building right in the city center adds depth and character to the already beautiful building. I would love to stay over the next time I visit como.

This place far exceeded our expectations. We can't think of one thing that didn't feel out of place. A memorable experience!

The hotel, although quite small, was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast spectacular and the decor elegant and true to its historic past. The staff was professional and very helpful.

No blackout curtains, so cant sleep in, and the bathroom door doesn't fully give you privacy.

A perfect backcloth to a first Lake Como experience!

The Hotel.... Italian styling at its best. Chic, traditional and eclectic. The breakfast a ceremony of elegantly served homemade specialities. A calm and serene ambience and courteous and quietly efficient service offered throughout.

Beautiful bed linen... slightly too firm mattress for someone with back issues.

Fantastic host and great location

The host was extremely helpful. The welcome drink and food were more than enough and she gave a comprehensive introduction to the area. The room was very spacious as we got a "Double Room with Garden View" which had a huge bathtub. The breakfast was outstanding as well. It was right in the old town and close to attractions, shops, and restaurants.

The room had no seating area beside a bed and two small squishy chairs. The door also made noise. The room was not very soundproof while it was a small hotel and all guests were respectful. Overall it was an old building but I guessed that's the whole point to have a hotel in the old town.

Cozy, romantic and ideal location. You will love it.

Everything is special here. Was a cold drizzly day and we were welcomed with a cozy fire, tea and homemade biscuits. Received a complimentary upgrade to a lovely suite. Quiet and with an excellent bath/shower.

My only complaint- the product used to clean the sitting area rug had a strong artificial flowery scent. Otherwise, our short stay was perfect.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, a true gem! Located very well, just a few minutes walking from the lake front, yet calm and private. the food is wonderful and the staff extremely helpful and kind. highly recommend!

Magical little place in the heart of como perfect for a weekend getaway.

Hidden away and beautifully renovated old archbishops palace. Super friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast well presented.

Our 5 night stay at the hotel was exceptional. Elena made our stay so much pleasurable and enjoyable, she literally was able to accommodate every request. All the booking and the recommendations she did for us was excellent. The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely amazing. It was individually tailored with wide variety. The fresh baked goods prepared by Marina, the pastry chef, still make my mouth water. I am very satisfied with my stay and I can’t wait to come back.
