Beautiful and peaceful.

An absolutely beautiful location with a private rocky beach area. Lovely for snorkelling and we even saw a seal swimming there! I loved the animals at the hotel (especially Kanelos, the golden retriever puppy). The hotel and location are totally idyllic, and so peaceful and beautiful. There are some lovely restaurants nearby in Souvala, and you can go to the main town if you want more variety. Our bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfy, with plenty of room to chill out and keep our things. The supermarket nearby has everything you need and the bakery down the road is stunning and so cheap.

Ideally I would change the shower holder so the position of the shower could be changed a bit for us shorter people. The plumbing in our bathroom also smelled quite a lot and we had to keep the door closed at all times. I would have preferred a slightly more private room, as we were next to reception so had people occasionally walking by who could see straight into our room. Despite this, the value for money and our stay in general was fantastic! Would definitely come again as these were just small niggles, and other rooms would have far fewer passers by.

Είχαν δώσει το δωμάτιο μας σε άλλον και προσπαθούσαν να μας πείσουν ότι ήταν άλλο από αυτό που είχαμε πληρώσει. Προσπαθούσαν να μας ρίξουν το φταίξιμο επειδή αργήσαμε για το check in ήταν δικό μας φταίξιμο που δεν προλάβαμε, ενώ εμείς είχαμε ενημερώσει ότι θα φτάσουμε μετά τις 22:00. Καταλήξαμε να τσακωνόμαστε για να βρούμε το δίκιο μας ενώ η ώρα είχε φτάσει σχεδόν μεσάνυχτα. Τους ζητήσαμε να μας εξηγήσουν γιατί αυτή η συμπεριφορά και να βρεθεί λύση, η απάντηση του ξενοδόχου είναι «να φύγετε να πάτε άλλου θα ακυρώσω την κράτηση σας». Παραπονέθηκαν για το κατοικίδιο μας ότι δεν επιτρέπεται ενώ στο App λέει ξεκάθαρα «ευπρόσδεκτα τα κατοικίδια». Αναγκαστήκαμε να τους δείξουμε την κράτηση και αναλυτικά για όλα όσα είχαμε δίκιο για να μας βάλουν σε ένα υπόγειο δωμάτιο να κοιμηθούμε για 1 βράδυ και υποσχέθηκαν επιστροφή αυτής της βραδιας. Δεν ξέρουμε εάν όντως θα γίνει επιστροφή και δεν ξέρω εάν αξίζει η όλη αναστάτωση και η συμπεριφορά μετά από όλα αυτά! Οσο για το κατάλυμα, παίρνει ακόμα αρκετή ανακαίνιση. Όλα τρίζουν, μισό σπασμένα παράθυρα/ πόρτες κ τα σιφώνια βουλωμένα.

Geweldig uitzicht met heerlijk stukje privé strand/rotsen/zee. Gezellig kleinschalig. Airco's werkten top! Haventje met diverse winkeltjes en eetgelegenheden vlakbij, onderaan steile helling. Appartement 1 heeft het mooiste uitzicht! Hele behulpzame medewerkers die van alles willen regelen voor je Diverse drinken etc wat je de hele dag door mag pakken Werkelijk een Klein paradijsje!

Wij hebben genoten! De matrassen vonden wij iets tegenvallen

A gorgeous place to relax

A gorgeous hotel nestled above the ocean amongst beautiful gardens. We were upgraded to a beautiful villa when we arrived, however all rooms are just lovely. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend the delicious breakfast baskets! It was such a peaceful and blissful break away for our family.

The communication and welcome from Roula was exceptional - from her thorough explanation of the property and room, to prompt responses via email ahead of arrival. I felt very welcomed and looked after and this made for one of the best hotel stays I've experienced.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. from the moment of arrival, it was just amazing. The attention is personal, they really cared for us to have everything what we needed and to have a fantastic time. The facilities are so beautiful. it has a private beach and a natural pool that are stunning. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

This is such a Beautiful gem of a property. Views are incredible and the private beach/bay is awesome. Rooms are comfortable, staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay

You need transport, or you need to get taxis into town. There are no nice restaurants close by- Souvala is close but the food is not good there, I would eat in Aegina town.

Wonderful spot to step away from a busy world

Amazing location. Although it’s quite a few steps down to the water, the views from the apartment and multiple little alcoves with chairs are lovely. Roula and other staff were so welcoming I felt like a guest in a friend’s home. Nothing was too much trouble but it was all done in a lovely laid back way. Our family loved the sup and canoe too.

There was nothing not to like.

Pure Bliss

What's not to like, this place was just pure bliss. I decided to stay here at last minute, I had been travelling for 6 weeks and just wanted to relax, boy did I make the right choice. What an amazing peaceful atmosphere, private gardens, private beach , spectacular views. Roula was fantastic friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was just amazing.

Absolutely nothing ..not one complaint! This stay was fantastic.

Great customer service and a gorgeous view

Roula was a magnificent host: her English was exceptional; she was extremely professional; she exuded warmth and a can-do attitude at all times. The view from my bedroom window was incredible Purchasing the daily breakfast was well worth it - Roula kindly amended the menu to suit my dietary requirements and it was delicious!

Quiet, relaxing, full of the sun and the sea

It's a great place - really nice spacious room and bed (I'm 6 foot four) with a great balcony overlooking the sea. There are loads of places to hang out, lots of greenery, space, a private shingle beach down below where you can have a sunset drink - we just spent a few days down there reading, swimming, and drinking wine which was fantastic. Souvala Harbour is a few minutes walk away. It's not a hotspot, but its got a gyros place, with lots of tavernas and bars, a supermarket and great bakery. And there's a sandy beach round the corner. The water here is super nice - it's not a beach paradise kind of place, but I can honestly say I've never swum so much in all my life. Van Geli, the owner, is super helpful and friendly - it was a great break and so close to Athens. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable views. This place is stunning. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and just lovely! The private beach has kiyaks and snorkels to use and is such a great spot for swimming. There are a few restaurants in the town and a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Highly recommend staying here it is beautiful!

A Greek island fantasy!

The setup was like a Greek island fantasy - the rooms were perched on a headland and steps tumbled down to the sea where we could swim in the clear water. Sun beds were everywhere and the view from the balcony of our apartment was superb. The location was outstanding and the owner and staff were wonderful.

Most rooms are located around a courtyard which had the potential to get noisy at night. Our apartment had plumbing problems and needed some small repairs but this is typical for Greece.
