Was a great location to explore the region then relax at the end of the day

The txt received prior to arrival explaining how to get there what is available fuel food dinning etc. Loved the quietness. The cabin was exactly as shown in the online booking site.

perfect location, secluded yet a quick drive to Mapleton, where you find lovely bush walks, restaurants & quaint shops

Was perfect place to get away and unwind. Everything you need and town so close.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but fine for a couple of nights

It was nice for us as a couple although I probably wouldn’t stay here again for the money we paid

The cottage was romantic and extremely clean

The owners house being so close to the cottage. & then the owner asking us what we were doing where we were going.

I loved every thing about our stay. We had a small issue while there. The staff and owner of the property went above and beyond to fix the issue, we will stay there again.

Beautiful location which should have been very peaceful, but the peace was constantly marred by the sound of machinery on neighbouring property

Beautiful serene location with magnificent outlook from the cottage.

The location was beautiful although a long drive to get into town and the beaches

We would have loved to have a coffee pod machine and better bathroom storage. Also some outdoor lounges to sit on the grass in the sun. We didn’t like the zero phone or internet coverage

A good base to do a few bits of active tourism and range of places to eat in the nearby towns.

Great outlook over the valley. Range of birds to see,

Interesting that the valley was a buzz with lawnmowers and the like. Lawns to be mown but it did break the tranquility.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful bushland setting, abundance of bird life and native fauna. The cottage was well appointed and private allowing for a very relaxing stay. Cottages are perfect for a couple Phil was very helpful

The cottages are a little difficult to find on google maps

If a peace and quiet escape is what you are after than look no further than Pencil Creek Cottages. We stayed in cottage 1 and it looks exactly as the photos on the Internet depict! It is set amongst beautiful gardens and as you sit on the deck, you over look the picturesque scenery of the property. The romantic bed, fire place and spa sets the scene for an indulgent escape. The friendly owner has also thought of everything you may need in terms of supplying all you may need for a self contained stay. Do yourself a favour and book in!!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like 😉
