Lovely and friendly family, perfect place to settle down. Warm atmosphere and good vibes, clean rooms and good budget rooms for people who want to stay in private rooms.

A bit far from the beach but if you rent a scooter/bicycle it is a few mintes away from lazy left/right beacch.

Dreams garden is really the dream!! Location is great, out back from the noise of the main street but close enough to surfing spots. The owners are really lovely, always there to help and have a chat. Loved everything about the place

Super chill place. Hosts are great. First day came here to monkeys and birds. Love the jungle vice. Far enough away from the road. That you can only hear the ocean.. and lazees when they crank the party. 🤣

I wish it had a kitchen.. Otherwise... Awesome

Really nice place

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The Family running it is so nice and they really want you too enjoy your stay. You can get also get breakfast and dinner there. They rent out scooters too. Will come again!

Beautiful place with amazing hosts and good location!

Dev has a lovley place tucked away from the main road in a quiet tropical area. I loved my stay here for 2 weeks, such a welcoming and homely feel. Dev and Vish are perfect hosts and will help you out with anything you need. The food is also amazing and so fresh. The herbs come directly from the garden and Dev is a great cook - Chilli Rotti and Dhal is a must try! 2 minute walk from Lazy left wave and option to rent a scooter aswell so its perfect for a more chill, authetic experience but within 10 minutes of the busier Weligamma and Ahangama. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. :)

Make sure to bring some mosquito spray as when it rains they can be annoying.

Best stay we had in Sri lanka !

Best place we staid in Sri Lanka. We staid almost 2 months at Dream Garden, and we felt at home. We were very well received. Dave, the owner of the place, and Vish, his son, made us feel so good, always trying to anticipate our needs, and helping us with everthing so that we could feel confortable and happy. The all family is brilliant ! We miss them already ! They're kind, caring, and intelligent. Always available for us, and keen on chatting. The name of the place « Dream Garden » suits perfectly the beautiful, green, well taking cared of garden, where live lots of adorable squirrels, colorful birds and funny to look at monkeys in the trees. The room we had was really proper, well cleaned, and quiet. This place is ideal for travellers who are looking for a good rest, because it's far from the noisy road and from the train. We slept well. The location is perfect : only 5 minutes walking from the beach in Midigama, and from the famous surf spots « Lazy Right » and « Lazy Left ». We had the great opportunity to rent a tuk tuk from the owner that offered us a really reasonnable price. He also provided us with usefull advices for ur trip, and arranged for us our drive back to Colombo. We loved our stay there and we are very grateful for their welcoming. Thanks again to all the family, you are awesome ! Wishing you the best ❤

Superb

Beautiful garden in a quiet area, close to midigama beach. Delicious food and exceptional hospitality. Vish and his father did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended!

For me the bed could have been a bit softer but that always depends on what you prefer personally :)

Everything!!!! The room is big, comfy and so nice. Is super clean. The garden is amazing.The family is so gentle and always happy to have a nice chat with the guests. It is more than they are giving you a nice service, they make you feel at home! Also I really like the area. Less than 10 min walking to the beach but out of the continuous traffic and night parties noise from the main road in front of the beach.

Just the perfect place

nice big room with a comfortable bed and fridge. No noise of traffic except for the sound of the train three times per day. absolutely beautiful located in the middle of the jungle, you can watch monkeys while enjoying the delicious homemade breakfast. The most lovely hosts you can have. Five minute walk to lazy left & lazy right every other spot just 10 minutes by bus.

I liked everything! It truly felt like home. During my 2 months trip, this was the hardest place to leave. I spent there so much more time than I planned in the beginning and I they took such a good care of me. Thank you for everything and hopefully I’ll be back :)

Perfect place to stay!

Perfect guesthouse! We were supposed to stay for two nights and we endend up spending 12 days! Spacious and clean room and bathroom, towels and toilet paper provided, delicious food and really quiet place, surronded by nature and wildlife. It is well located, only a few minutes walk from the beach. You can also rent a scooter if you want too. Mostly, what make our stay so good was the owner Dave and his son Vish; two fabulous persons, always smiling, kind and well looking after their guest. Thanks for everything!
