Perfect base for exploring

Everything! Beautiful decor, retro tweaks... Great location - easy access to Ramsgate and Broadstairs on foot. Cute garden but sadly weather was not good enough to use. Lovely treats and message left by the owner. Great communication too!

Excellent from start to finish. Sarah was such a friendly & accommodating host; a joy to meet.

I loved the quirky, creative decor, the size & location of the apartment, the private garden with table & chairs, & Sarah's friendly, considerate, thoughtfulness & personality.

A beautifully decorated, clean, light bathroom, however, a very tiny wash basin. :-(

Lovely location and fabulous property.

Sarah is such a lovely positive host. ✨💫 the property is quirky and gorgeous, really well equipped, there are some fab touches like the snacks and the games cupboard. She really has gone above and beyond to be very welcoming.

Excellent, would stay again!

Great location, excellent communication with host, addictive arcade games, well equipped kitchen, welcome hamper was delightful, comfy bed, guest welcome book with lots of recommendations (Ramsgate Tunnels was really enjoyable and a short distance away). Would highly recommend!

Perhaps some black out curtains/ blinds in the living room. My kids dislike wearing eye masks so were up earlier than usual. We swapped on the second night and sofa bed ok for adults but quite squeaky. Shower temperature was a bit unpredictable for us. Towel rail in bathroom couldn’t be switched on so always felt a bit damp in the bathroom despite leaving the window open after showering. Resulted in toilet paper feeling slightly damp.

wonderful little getaway

Firstly I’d like to thank Sarah she is the best host, it was my husband’s birthday and she very kindly sent a bday card for him 😊 the property is outstanding, very well thought out, I loved the quirky little items of furniture and the lovely decoration, very clean throughout absolutely spotless. A very nice little garden to the back of the property. Not to far to walk to town and quite central to other coastal areas, we noticed a bus that went to Margate and Broadstairs which we thought would be quite handy. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back for another Stay in the near future. Thanks Sarah for letting us stay at your beautiful home xx

Stylish pad close to the centre - perfect for a visit

The lock box was well hidden (we found a different one first and called the owner to help - she explained where the correct box was). The Apartment is very stylish, really well presented, and had everything you'd need. Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the marina, the beach and the town centre.

We didn't realise there wasn't central heating, went out for the evening soon after arrival and came back in the evening to find we were freezing. Our own fault - we could have left the heater on before leaving, we just didn't spot that it wasn't automatic.

Really pleasant experience all round. Would certainly stay there again.

Excellent location in a quiet road, and within walking distance of Ramsgate seafront and harbour, where there were plenty of things to do and see, as well as choice of pubs and restaurants. The property had real character in terms of its decor, which made it different from your average place. Everything was there with regard to self-catering. Never met the owner face-to-face, but Sarah made us feel exceptionally welcome before, during and even after our stay through messaging. She quiet clearly cares about any guests she has.

Can’t think of anything that could have been better than it was.

Exceptional

Sarah the host was amazing, so helpful and the welcome bundle of goodies was such an unexpected treat. The flat was spotless and we loved all the quirky decor and games. The bed was comfortable and the dark curtains helped block the light out. The rainfall shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped and although the rain meant we didn't use it, the garden looked like it would have been lovely to sit out in warmer weather. Peaceful location but still close enough to town.

We had a great time at Albert’s Rest. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Very nice and cozy. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

A great find...

It's a great find, quirky, well furnished, comfortable. Great welcome snacks and drink. Great location just up from the beach. Quiet location.

I would have liked to have been able to easily use the wall heater but it beat us!!!

Fab stay.

Property was fabulous and in the perfect location for the beach & town centre. Hosts were extremely helpful & made the booking & checking in really easy.

A perfect holiday let

The location was perfect for day trips to the beach. The apartment was spotless and our host couldn't have been more helpful. The boys loved the garden and the old school Nintendo. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was beautifully decorated. There was some really helpful touches for staying with little ones like Children’s dvds, plastic cups and bowls and a bath mat. Overall our stay was delightful and we can't wait to return!

The host we so helpful and kind and left a welcome message for us on out arrival which made us feel very welcome. The property was clean and comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The location is great too. We really enjoyed our stay at Albert's Rest.

Lovely quiet apartment. Comfortable and nice and quirky.. Hospitality/ welcome tray lovely and fizz was a nice touch. Kitchen was well appointed but could have done with a microwave - just for our needs.

Heating was not sufficient. Only found the portable heater on leaving. Water was freezing for shower despite heating the boost button.

Albert's Rest - great stay

The quirky decorating was just to our taste. Modern kitchen with all the facilities and utensils you'd need. Modern bathroom suite. Thoroughly clean accommodation and Sarah was a very attentive, friendly host, a brilliant feature herself for the property!

We had an issue with the hob not switching on while staying. Contacted Sarah and went through all troubleshooting options. She kept me updated once she did find the issue also.

What a find!!!

Alberts Rest is well placed to walk to the beach at Ramsgate or drive to the beaches of Broadstairs or Margate. It didn’t happen to us but you could also have a good rainy day there too. The accommodation is modern, funky and immaculately clean. Parking no issue.
