Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft an einem schönen, friedlichen Ort.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang . Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigen könnte. Wir konnten den Mietwagen direkt an der Unterkunft aufladen. Gute Angelstellen am nahegelegenen Hafen.

EXTRAORDINAIRE !

Tout était parfait: l accueil de notre hôte et son tres bon pain maison, la localisation, les équipements du logement dont le sauna et le barbecue mis à disposition dans un petit chalet annexe.

Le regret de n être resté qu’une seule nuit!

Tranquilidad en Senja

La Cabina del Capitán fue nuestro alojamiento y fue una de las estancias que más disfrutamos del norte de Noruega. Aunque no pudimos disfrutar las vistas debido a que las horas de luz eran escasas y solo pasamos una noche, el tiempo que estuvimos en casa lo sentimos como estar en un hogar; era muy acogedor. Sin duda si volvemos a Senja nos volveremos a alojar aquí.

Guter Standort auf Senja

Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Lage, schön am Wasser und ist gut ausgestattet. Auch Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Die Matratzen sind gut. Leif ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wegen Straßenbauarbeiten unmittelbar vor dem Haus haben wir uns tagsüber nicht dort aufgehalten. Das war schade.

This was the nicest place we stayed in Norway. A tranquil stay with a wonderful host. Leif is very helpful and we had a very ni e time in the wood fired sauna. I would recommend making a plan to visit here!

Great place to stay

The cabin is very cosy. Airconditioning and the possibility to make the room total dark help you to sleep during the warm and sunny summernights. The host was very friendly and helpful. In the village there is a good, small grocery store. The location is good, it is easy to make trips to different parts of Senja. I recommend this accomdation for all families and couples exploring the beautiful Island of Senja!

Everything was perfect. The ideal accommodation, Leif has been enchanted and attentive with us. Pity not to have caught one more day. We’ve been very comfortable.

The house is huge and very much equipped Leif, the owner is willing to do everything you want and need with a smile and kindness. He even baked a fresh bread for me…

Cozy, friendly, smells amazing, clean, comfy bed, warm, lovely

Leiv welcomed us with a big smile and showed us our beautiful cabin, he was funny, helpful and gave us great recommendations for the night! We loved spending the evening at the pizza pub, the owner and the waitress were like family when we left!

Leif is a super host with very down to earth and warm personality, very generous with the accomodation facilities, good quality equipments and furniture, nice home made bread and location with parking in front of the house, The view at the surrounding is amazing, the captains cabin is very comfortable , better than how the pictures looked, my son enjoyed the Netflix and fast speed internet very much, we feel that staying only for 2 nights are simply too short. Wish to come back again.

We felt very welcomed at Leif's place - he even prepared some freshly baked bread for us! The apartment is just incredible: great views, very cozy and extraordinary well equipped. Leif was just the nicest person and we would definitely recommend staying here!! We will come back for sure!

Clean apartment in an amazing location in Senja

Extremely clean apartement with amazing scenery! Everything basic you need is basically provided; even as basic as cooking OIL! Leif also provided homemade bread. In a small building, we can do a BBQ and sauna.

Had to chance to pet the cats :(

Everything exceeded expectations! The captain's cabin was spacious, clean and had plenty of amenities including a washer and dryer. Leif is the best host we've ever come across. He made sure we got everything we needed and more; he for instance cleared the snow from our car in the morning.

Perfect setup with cabin, barbecuehouse and sauna. All you need is there and Leif is a perfect host. Served us a fresh homemade bread and lent us some snowshoes. Totally recommended

Life at Leif’s is amazing! He is a great host and helps with everything. The house has everything you need (even a washing machine and dryer, very nice for when you’re passing through). We had a bbq at the little bbq/sauna house next to the cabin, that was great and Leif helped with heating the bbq and the sauna up. He also gave us a fresh loaf of bread! In the house is a beautiful book on hikes in Senja.

Very nice situated directly at the sea, fantastic views, Leif was a very perfect host, providing fresh-baked bread and the possibility to take a sauna.

Only thing is, that the ceilings are not very high in some places; everything else was completely fine.

Super cosy cabin close to the water

The Captains Cabin is a super cosy cabin close to the water. It is well equipped with everything you might need. Special treats were the self made bread from Leif and the sauna after a day of hiking or climbing. Leif is a super host and I enjoyed talking to him very much. I had a great time and will be back!

Spacious Flat near the sea with all necessary equipments including washing machine. Our host welcomed us with brand cooked homemade bread. We also asked him for hiking recommendations. We did the two he told us and they were great.
