Super für ein Wochenendtrip am Bodensee!

Super Frühstück in ausgezeichneter Qualität, viel frisch und regional. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Zentral gelegen. Wir hätten nicht besser wählen können.

Für unseren Kurztrip war's okay

Lage ist zwar etwas weiter weg von Schuß, aber die Insel ist super mit dem Bus erreichbar.

Das Bad war für 4 Personen seeeeehr klein! Dusche mit Glaswand zum Zimmer! Das Zimmer war für 4 Personen groß genug. Betten leider etwas durchgelegen.

Good value for money in a very convenient location and comfortably traditional.

Large room with lots of storage. Quiet at night. Good breakfast and very dog friendly. The restaurant is a pleasant place to eat at night and reasonably priced. Pleasant, relaxed service.

It is an old coaching inn and has retained the original style but could do with some refurbishment:it is much the same as the first time I stayed there in 1981. There was a broken window pane in our room and no proper curtains on one window. The beds were comfortable but short for my husband and quite narrow.

Well situated hotel with free bus tickets ans bus stand in front of the hotel. Nice beergarden, but a little busy because of the traffic.

Rather expensive and not luxurious. The hotel is traditnal outside but the rooms are modern. There is no aircondition. The doors in your room are heavy.

Very helpful staff, good hotel

The staff really went out of our way and helped to make our stay here comfortable and convenient. We sent some suitcases on ahead to this destination which they received for us and helped us with when there were some shipping problems. As we had to leave at 5:30 AM, they put together a wonderful breakfast packet for us to eat on the train. We were here on rainy week days in late September and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable, although the hotel was at full occupancy. The breakfast was very very nice and in a nicely decorated setting. The train station is a 15 minute walk away which worked well for us.

Mixed views.

The food and atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely.

Why does the shower have see-through glass instead of a wall? There is no privacy between the shower and the room. Very uncomfortable design for a hotel which is taking away people's right to privacy. Could this be expressly highlighted in the description as a disclaimer statement not to disappoint future customers?

Very good

The staff was very freindly, nice parkinglot for free. Breakfast included.

Since the hotel is located along the street and there was no AC in the room, we had a bit struggle on how many windows we should open during night. Because we could hear for sure some noises from the street. The design of the sink in the bathroom could be improved, the water easily ended up all over the place.

Nice hotel

Nice clean room, beautiful interior. Restaurant food very good.

it would be very nice if the kitchen staff would order food refills without waiting for the plates to be completely empty (For breakfast) Also, they charge us twice for one night. We reserved the room by online. But in the morning they said we didn’t pay. So we paid in reception, and next day we checked the bank account and the money was debited there again, so we paid for the room twice.

Exceptional

Cosy and very clean. Staff very helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast also very good. Excellent WiFi and only 30 minutes walk to the old town on the island.

Very friendly staff. Useful and convenient beer garden.

Probably my fault but not so convenient for Lindau Island. 20 minutes walk each way. Note for visitors; there’s a bus stop close by where the car park ticket includes bus ride in and out.

Staffs are very kind. And the restaurant was good. It's a bit far from the old town, but it's within walking distance.

Disappointing

The staff were friendly.

The location is very underwhelming. The room rate is excessive for what you get and the bathroom is extremely small. If a person takes a shower, the others can look in from the bedroom side as the bathroom „walls“ are glass.
