Semplicemente da EVITARE!

Le foto della struttura non rispecchiano la realta', si fa confusione con i 2 alloggi mischiando le foto delle stanze delle 2 cucine e dei bagni, le foto illustrano una struttura nuovissima ma nella realtà è tutto molto più vecchio e sporco! Appena siamo arrivati abbiamo trovato l'appartamento con la spazzatura (5 sacchi pieni) degli ospiti precedenti e il proprietario in un primo momento disponibile non ha più risposto al telefono se non alle 23:50 chiedendo se poteva rimuovere la spazzatura, a quell'ora con 2 bambini piccoli e una puzza infernale! Siamo andati con 2 bambini piccoli e le condizioni della pulizia generale dell'alloggio erano sgradevoli, balconi con escrementi di piccioni, testata del letto con aloni di sporco (questo da l'idea della pulizia della casa) le poltrone e sedie tutte macchiate e sporche, le porte rovinate con mancanza di pittura e aloni di sporco attorno alla maniglia del bagno; mancavano i comodini e l'armadio di una camera da letto era inutilizzabile perché chiuso con i lucchetti. Il proprietario non ha capito la condizioni gravi del suo alloggio e non ha neppure riconosciuto il rimborso dopo tutto il disagio che ha creato. Inoltre il wi-fi non esiste!

La struttura e in ottima posizione vicino al centro, locali per mangiare, shopping , fornita di mezzi

Troppo rumorosa avendo infissi vecchi , l’appartamento è situato al primo piano si sentono i rumori della strada

We enjoyed our one night stay and would definitely stay there again.

It was very central, a spacious well laid out apartment, spotlessly clean. Check-in was very easy.

No air conditioning but that wasn’t an issue for us. Shower was very tight and difficult to manoeuvre in but lots of hot water.

disaster

absolutely nothing except for the convenient location

I wish I could rate it as zero as it was an absolute disaster We have arrived at the property at night; we stayed for an hour and left afterwards because of the safety issues. At 1AM, at night we had to search for the hotel to stay in The property is not exactly what it is on the photos, they decided not to post the whole picture of this apartment, and how it actually looks like No one has told us that we were going to sleep at night with an open main door. Main door can not be locked, we checked it about 15 times pushing it hard, pressing lock button and etc. Doesn’t work. That basically means that anyone from the outside can easily access the apartment by just pulling the doorknob and there is zero safety in that, especially at the first floor and in the center of Palermo We were also not aware that the utility room was an open space to the roof and basically under the sky with access to the apartment right through that space directly through the roof, so again basically anyone from the streets can access the apartment and it’s scary at night especially on the first floor and with a child Third thing is also concerning safety.

Great apartment on the 1st floor (with a lift and consierge). Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment with a terrific outdoor terrace in a very central location. Our host Giuseppe was excellent and very helpful. Easily the best host during our 3 week tour of Sicily.

Great time in Palermo

The apartment was lovely and in a very good location close to everything. Our host, Giuseppe was very accommodating and maintained excellent communication with us before and during our stay.

Bait and switch. Pictures and description didn't. FILTHY!

The apartment was filthy. They left a huge trash bag behind, the apartment smelled of trash and cigarettes. No mattress pads on bed, one bed had no top sheet, filthy blankets, sofa and chairs all stained and dirty, floors dirty, washing machine smelled of mildew, shower tiles were covered with mold. Top lock of door didn't work, felt unsafe. Complained to host to no avail and we left, it was that bad. The pictures and description of the place did not match. Bait and switch. Photos to come

The location and the size of the apartment were really nice. But the apartment wasnt that clean.

The apartment wasn't really clean. Dishes and cutlery were dirty and still had food leftovers. Basically, most of the kitchen equipment was like this. The shower wasn't clean also and the drain was clogged so we needed to manually fix it every time we took a shower. We told that to the host (about the drain), but he has just seen the message and didn't respond to that. Also, the extra pillows on the bed were moldy.

I must say that Giuseppe’s apartment is really amazing place to stay in Palermo from 1 to infinite number of days. Giuseppe himself is a brilliant host :) He was very flexible do check-in and. heck-out as well as supported us during the whole stay. His apartment is also a landmark place with a beautiful terrace and very well-equipped kitchen with a lot of kitchen ware. The rooms were very spacious and authentic. The bath also great and well-organized. Location - 5 min walk to the Theatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele and 3 min to COOP supermarket. To sum up - I will definitely recommend to stay in the Amazing Politeama House.

An amazing place where you can relax and get ready for your adventures in Sicily.

Giuseppe is our host in Sicily, who made our stay unique, wonderful and memorabel. We not only received great recommendations on restaurants and bars from Giuseppe, he also showed us one of the oldest and most tasty Osteria in Palermo :) Whenever we need him: it does not matter if its something in the house, or even when we were on the road and were facing some difficulties. Giuseppe was always there for us. The apartment is very clean and well-organized. The location is incredible, from where you only need 5 minutes walk to the city center of Palermo. After everyday's journey, we were able to sit on the relaxing bacolny and enjoy a glass of nice Sicilian Wine :) if we come back to Palermo again, we'll stay with Giuseppe for sure!

Superb

A very good place to stay at! We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to cook for yourself. Washing machine in the apt.(I guess the host has more apts than the one we stayed. I don’t know how they are equipped.) Great location. Close to supermarket and restaurants.

We were staying on the first floor and there was a little bit of noice from the street in the evening.

Great Location and Pretty Apartment in Palermo

Excellent location - everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. The unit had a great terrace and was really big - and had a washing machine which was terrific as we have been on the road for a couple of weeks. Comfortable bed.

There were some minor maintenance issues which would be good to fix but these did not detract from our enjoyment. Everything else was really good.
