Wonderful host! Comfy beds and great food!

The biggest bonus at this hostel was Fred the amazing kind and generous man who runs the hostel. The bed was also super comfy! We will definitely return to this beautiful area and enjoy the comfort of this homely hostel.

In a hurry to leave.

Nothing.

Socket plate coming off wall, general air of run down decoration and repair. Minimal facilities in room - no bedside lamp, room light in awkward position. Very expensive for self catering. Compare £49 for one night here, self catering (no breakfast) against £38 for a family room with breakfast in Newtown.

The stay was a nightmare, no ventilation, heating. I wonder how this place even got permission

Please avoid this place, it is a rip off, there was no heating even, our family had to truncate our trip and left the place immediately although we had booked and paid a non refundable fee for two days.

Cheap and cheerful hostel in a convenient location.

Ideal base for our needs, parking straight outside and having the use of a kitchen and lounge is what made it for us.

Could do with a bit of refreshing, some parts looked a little tired.

We left early without breakfast. The hostel was ideal for what we wanted with good service.

Unfortunately there was a leak in the ceiling which dripped all night onto the floor. This was the only bad point.
