It was just ok

Convenient location

The property was ok, but I just didn’t like the bed it was very uncomfortable, there was a slit in between the mattress

Great location for our purpose. Tranquil surroundings. The apartment has the essentials. Entry and exit instructions were clear. A well detailed message was received in advance clearly outlining everything we needed to know. Loved that we could have some meals on the balcony. Adequate for what we needed. Clear and prompt communications from the owner.

We were only informed after we checked in that only 1 bath towel per person is provided for the duration of the stay. We could wash if necessary. However, no soap powder for washing purposes was provided. Hand Towels are NOT provided. While I understand that this is self-catering, it would have been appreciated if we were informed in the advert or in the introductory message to carry additional towels and/or washing powder. The owner did, however, offer to send in the maid service after I queried the towel situation, but that would have not been convenient for us as we left early and returned late daily.

I was not happy at all

I love that location, I didn't have to travel far.

The place was too cold and the aircon is not effective at all IT was on the first floor so no garden view The hot water in the shower or bath was so slow and frustrating No DSTV, but we are forced to watch YUOTUB and Netflix The blankets we not effective due to the cold in that building It's so moldy in the bathroom and the bedroom.

It had what we needed

The shower drain overflowed and no mop to clean up. Cutlery and crockery of poor quality - cups and plates chipped and cracked, and not all essentials were available in the kitchen. I expected more for the price we paid.

Awesome stay!

The facilities were absolutely lovely, apartment is very well kept and clean.

The bed wasn't a king size, it was two single mattresses put together with just a sheet on the top. The Aircon unit is way too small and didn't provide any releif, thank goodness there was a fan which was kept on 24/7.

Overall, located in nice, safe surroundings but disappointed with the standards of accommodation.

Location was convenient to shops and restaurants. Nice, safe surroundings and pleasant walks.

The noise from the surrounding neighbours who partied into the early hours. The abundance of bugs in the kitchen and living room area were a bit too much, even after using a whole can of DOOM. Given the price charged, I would have expected better quality cutlery, rather than cheap and flimsy cutlery and also better quality linen. Should also mention on the website that the shower is in the bath - a challenge for someone recovering from a knee procedure.
