About this house rental
Cozy lakefront chalet located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a gated community. Enjoy the private wooded quarter acre lot with a private dock on Lake Carobeth and a deck with patio doors so you enjoy the beautiful lake views while outside or inside by the fireplace. Located a short drive to most of the area attractions including Kalahari, Camelback, Pocono Raceway, The Crossings Shopping Outlet, Mt Airy Casino, and Great Wolf Lodge. Large, comfy sofa in front of the pellet stove fireplace with a view of the lake and a 55" flat-screen TV with Hulu and several other streaming channels. Open layout with the kitchen and dining room, the dining table is extendable and can easily accommodate a large group. The kitchen has all the essentials you may need. Newly renovated bathroom with washer & dryer. The first bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress topper. The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a full trundle bed. Both bedrooms have a window AC during July & August. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a very comfortable queen bed and a queen Aerobed is also available for guests. A 24" TV on a rolling cart can be placed in either bedroom and has a Roku stick. Can also be used as a second computer monitor with a HDMI connection. Outdoor spaces include a large deck with a propane grill (propane is provided) and dining area, a dock with a full view of the lake with a seating area, and a large umbrella with LED lighting so you can enjoy it day or night. The property comes with a choice of 2 boats: a 5-person inflatable boat or a 14' aluminum rowboat and with life vests so you can get out on the lake. A campfire pit with a bench for making s'mores to end the day. The house is located in a gated community that offers 4 pools, kayaks, and canoes for use on the lake, mini-golf, sports courts, and various other amenities.

My family and I stayed at this Chalet for the Thanksgiving holiday and I can’t rave enough about this place. Kasia was super responsive and communicated everything clearly and in a timely manner. I walked with pots, pans and utensils to cook our Thanksgiving meal and I didn’t have to because the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed! There were games for my kids, smart tv with apps to login to your streaming service to keep them occupied, though we didn’t need it much because we spent so much time outside fishing from the dock, and making s’mores over the campfire outside. The host provided plenty of wood to get us started. After a long day, cozying up by the pellet stove was a nice reward. The home was clean and exactly as described, and the views of the lake were spectacular. The perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend with the family. I will definitely return. Thank you, Kasia for providing such a great place and for being an amazing host!

We had an excellent stay. Having access to the lake and a quiet space to relax were the highlights. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. We would love to come back in Summer and enjoy the lake even more.

Very welcoming and cozy cabin right on the lake. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located to numerous outdoor winter activities (ice skating, snow shoeing, tubing, skiing, and more) and food and shopping were close by as well. The house was extremely pet friendly and my husband and I along with our two dogs had a blast playing and hiking in the snow! We hope to return and highly recommend staying at this place if you enjoy the outdoors and nature.

The house is very cozy, charming and very well stocked. The backyard is beautiful. The house owner is easy to reach and very helpful. I would go back for another relaxing getaway.

Lovely property on the edge of a small lake with nature trees and a fire pit. Plenty of wildlife. 6 deer walked through the property and bedded down in the neighbors yard. Kitchen well stocked. Kasia was excellent with her communication.
The check in process was a bit tedious, but not oppressive, at the welcome center where they require each vehicle entering the property to show registration and driver’s license to get a security pass. We checked in on a Friday evening, and there was a significant number of people doing the same. I would stay again.

Overall this place was cozy and comfortable. Pretty close to everything you can possibly need. Overall a hidden gem. The host was very quick to respond and very helpful. If anyone is looking for a place to stay for a weekend getaway or even longer this place is it.

Once a year we get together and just have a blast with no kids or spouse's. This year it was so nice my brother eould grab coffee and go sit on the dock, it was a dream come true. We had the neighborhood deer stop by and many other animals, we usually don't but I can see us coming back to spend the mini vaca there again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lakeside property. This is located inside an HOA area that has some serious efforts to only allow entry of only approved people. I see this as a GOOD THING. If you follow the owners guide it's "a piece of cake". The owner is VERY prompt on all inquires, and I felt the home was exceptionally appointed. We are a single couple with a small well behaved dog who used the comfortable king bed. There were accommodations for more, but you will need to review these to see if it works for you. There was a dock and fire pit should you want to use, but we didn't. We loved having coffee on the front porch which receives the morning sun with our dog. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We especially liked Mi Casa a Spanish restaurant that serves Mexican as well, and the expensive Japanese restaurant Desaki (tons of food). We were 1st time renters on Verbo, but the experience was wonderful.

We take our dog on one vacation every year and this place was by far the most dog friendly. There were dog bowls, a bed and treats there for my baby to use. We enjoyed swimming in the lake from the dock and enjoyed a bunch of the close activities throughout the week. The host was super responsive. We had a fire every night and relaxed on the deck. I highly recommend anyone taking their pup on vacation with them, this is a great place to stay!

The landlord was very friendly and the truth is that the house is very cozy. I gave it 4 stars. because under the main bed is very dirty but that's all. I 100% recommend your stay

My husband and I and our 2 great danes had a lovely long weekend here. The house was clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. We did a little fishing off the dock and caught a few sunnies, blue gill and bass. Beautiful setting right on the lake!

Kasia was amazing to communicate with and was extremely responsive to all messages. The house was very cozy, just big enough for our family of 4 and two dogs - there were even dog bowls, treats and a bed for them! The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook in each day.
The lake was nice and relatively quiet during the week, but if you are looking for a secluded get away, this may not be the place to go. The houses are right on top of each other and if you have a noisy (or stinky) neighbor it can effect your time. We only had to deal with that for 2 of our 5 days. There are lots of activities for the kids to do; swimming pool and paddle boats a short bike ride away, in addition to the boats provided by the owner.
If I were to give any feedback it would be to offer a kayak or two and a couple of places to lounge outside (hammock, lounge chair, etc...). Overall this was a fantastic vacation and the house was otherwise perfect.

This home is very welcoming. Even our dog was supplied dishes, treats & a bed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed comfortable & the lake view magnificent. Sitting on the dock or viewing the lake from the deck or house was very relaxing. We didn't use the boats but might on future visits. It was just the 2 of us (3 with our pup) but there is room for a family or even a few friends getting together. On rainy days there are some games & books or just relax & watch the wildlife that visits. There is also plenty to do in the area & Kasia is very prompt in answering any questions.

Very clean and well stocked.Very pet friendly,including dog dishes,treats and small pet.we enjoyed our stay and watching all the deer wandering around.Caught a few fish and enjoyed the fire pit.Would definitely recommend.

Our whole family loved this house. It was the perfect size for four, and the backyard with lake access was such a treat. We enjoyed greeting all of our visitors… deer, bunnies, geese, and even a ground hog! The host is very quick to respond to questions and the house is very clean and has everything you need. Using the row boat for fishing was the highlight for our kids. I would recommend this house!

Overall, the cottage was very nice, but the neighborhood was quite cramped with houses in various states of disrepair. Much garbage strewn about the streets and the roads had a lot of potholes. Kasia was very kind, however, and the home environment was cozy.

Very well stocked home, beautiful lake views, attentive owner and great location! Easy to follow checkin and checkout process, plenty of room for us and our dog. We will try to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor amenities.

This was our second time staying here in the winter, so it was familiar. We're very comfortable with this rental. It has everything you need, it's clean and has modern amenities, it's in a quiet neighborhood, the backyard opens up to a beautiful lake. My favorite room is the open living room/dining room with the high ceiling, beautiful view and cozy fireplace. Central location for hiking, skiing and casinos. We went for a 5 mile hike in Tobyhanna State Park, which is just down the road. Absolutely breathtaking. Mohegan Sun casino is only 40 minutes away. We also walked around the lake. It's an easy, peaceful walk. This cabin is now our annual winter getaway. We plan on staying here in the summer too. Can't wait to kayak in the lake.

Was a great way to relax and unwind. The lake views were amazing and the house was well stocked to meet all of my needs. The host was wonderful and communication with her was easy and very timly. Seeing deer in the back yard was a great plus. Sofa and bed very comfortable. Will go back again in future

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was very clean and cozy with a lot of holiday decorations. The house is right on the lake with a great view. Make sure to bring current car registration with you as you will need it when checking in with the community.

Everything about this place was amazing from the moment I booked it. Plenty of contact with owner. Super easy check in. The place had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds and couch. My dog bee lined to the doggie bed and it was his favorite spot all week. Can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

We went for a fall getaway and to see the colors. The cottage is as described and very comfortable. While we didn’t get to take advantage of the lake, this would be a great place to visit during warmer weather. Being centrally located, we could explore a different part of the Poconos each day, and return to our comfy quiet cottage at night. Check in was easy, and the the host made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our visit.

The house was so sweet, very clean and cozy. Well stocked and all you will need for a comfortable stay. The deck is great for fishing or just looking at the beautiful lake. Lots of trails and state park trails to walk. Great get away.
