Not so luxury stay on Lembongan

Great view. Very comfortable beds, amazing! Close to temple, so I could hear chanting. Loved it. Very good food in restaurant. Prices are high, but chef there is exceptional. Place really stands out among all properties on Lembongan. Clean and beautiful pools. Kind and attentive staff.

Place is being slowly worn out. If you pay attention, can see breaking tiles in the pool, moldy walls of the balcony. Bathroom is quite old. Suggest renovation works. Our last day was spolied by hotel requesting to pay 55k for pillow case. My wife has dyed hair, so at times stains remain on the pillow cases. They are easy to wash off in the laundry and it was never a problem in any hotel. At home our pillow cases are also white and there are never any stain on those, that can't be washed in household washing machine. For a room prices that high, hotel being a 5-star resort, us dining there frequently and leaving millions in the restaurant, charging 55k for a pillow case and spoiling my wife's mood feels like a bad joke. This is a level of 2-star resort, not a serious establishment I was expecting to stay at. I suggest to management to review their policy, laundry quality, personnel attitude and, perhaps, include 55k into room price,so as not to bother guests with puny cases.

Having travelled the island I have to stay that this was the best choice for our needs

The Tamarind was the perfect place for my daughter and I ! After a busy day out and about, we always appreciated coming back there . The grounds of the hotel as absolutely gorgeous and the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them. We especially appreciated the complimentary car shuttle service to the nearby shops and back and the wonderful driver that was available on request 🙏highly recommend

Amazing stay for our honeymoon & staff went above and beyond.

We loved the Tamarind. So clean and peaceful. Great pools with amazing views. The staff was excellent. I got hurt while visiting Bali & they did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable.

Exceptional

We had a brilliant time at this hotel. The vibe of it was chilled and relaxed, with amazing service and attention to detail. We had had a busy few days beforehand and adored sitting by the rooftop pool with the amazing views. We also liked the location as we could easily walk to other places on the beach, etc. We would totally recommend this hotel. Breakfast was great - the corn fritters are out of this world!

wonderful stay!

We really liked our stay at the Tamarind. We had a lovely view, and we were really impressed with the food. The staff were lovely too (in particular, the gentleman on reception, our driver who took us to the medical centre, a lovely gentleman who served us dinner and Harry by the pool bar.

The communal areas could be a little cleaner to make it what you expect from a 5* but otherwise we cannot complain! a wonderful hotel on a beautiful island

Fantastic can’t wait to return to the Island.

The staff are amazing, everyone so friendly and accommodating they really can’t do enough for you. location is perfect from where the ferry drops you only a short walk up the road. We upgraded on arrival to a villa the views are something else money so well spent.

not worth the price

view is great, they have a washing machine. Harry from the bar/restaurant is very helpful

property is not so close to the beach. the staff were not well trained. other than Harry it was very hard to get assistance and they were very inflexible about a silly policy of locking a room within our own villa because I paid for a 2 bedroom and it was a 3 bedroom. I only asked to use the toilet in the downstairs bedroom and they refused and locked the door even though no one else could occupy it. it was definitely not worth the price I paid as it was the most expensive accommodation I booked in Bali but the most unimpressive.

Very good

The design of the Tamarind - apparently owned by an Australian - is lovely. Kind of modernist, with mid-century touches. My room, which had a balcony view of the volcano (when visible), was really lovely; spacious and very comfortable. A special shout out for top TOP quality bed linen, with cloud-like duvets and pillows. The food in the restaurant, where I ate twice in the evening, was also very good. There are two pools - a third is very shallow - one on the roof, and one opposite the open air dining room, and both of these are beautiful. The rooftop one has great views.

This is a high end property, and there is a big ratio of staff to guests, or so it seemed to me. That is all good. What I did not like, especially as a solo traveller, was being asked every time I appeared as to “Where are you going now? What are you doing now? Where have you been? Why are you travelling alone?’ Once or twice, ok. I got extremely fed up having to account for myself every time I stepped out of my room. It’s obviously some policy of the hotel - and the staff themselves were lovely - but I personally did not appreciate this constant questioning of my movements. I just wanted some privacy, and ended up - again, a personal opinion - feeling slightly harassed at this property.

Beautiful view. Villas only has a nice master bedroom, the rest of the rooms are horrid!

The service was excellent. Every staff put in so much effort to ensure ypu are looked after. Amazing view of the sea and mountain view. We loved the provacy and the pool area for the villa. So exclusive.

We booked 2 of the most expensive 3 bedder villas here but were utterly disappointed that only the master bedroom was beautiful and as shown. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were spartan and not comfortable. Would have been much better booking individual rooms. Full of insects, wierd scary lizard sounds, mozzy and also a large spider in the room! Yucks.

Relaxing, healthy, perfect holiday escape

Staff were always smiling, very helpful and very attentive. Special thanks to Puntu and Harry for making our stay so wonderful. The roof top pool overlooking the ocean was fantastic. We could even check out the surf break from our room.

1.Location, a stone throw away from Junngutbatu beach where D’Star ferry stop . The hotel arrange buggy to pick us up. 2.hotel has two pool and both are excellent esp the one on the higher level where u can relax and enjoy the sea view and gunung agong! 3. breakfast was awesome !

If I were to pick one ~the Hotel room is elevated as you go higher floors and they dun hv a lift. but this is not an issues. i am sure the hotel staff will be happy to send you up to your room buggy services!

Amazing location, very close to good food and the beach. The views from the room was soooo lovely and amazing. Big thanks to the lovely and helpful staff! If you need any help with booking of scooters/tours/transport, the resort can help sort it out quickly. Also, breakfast was great! Would 100% stay here again. Super glad to have stayed here :)

The view and design of the hotel is stunning. Relaxing on a rooftop infinity pool with the view they offer is out of this world.
