A gem of a Hotel in all aspects of accommodation and staff service.

Guests are made very welcome and all of the staff make up an excellent team. The phrase ‘ to go the extra mile’ perfectly describes the service we experienced. This extends to the 90th Birthday celebration the Gower Hotel laid on. The attention to detail, the artistic touches, the top class menu fare, all with a very friendly and personable yet professional provision. This is gem of an Hotel, not only for holiday breaks, but for large celebratory events. Very happy to return when we next visit Swansea.

A lovely little hotel for a romantic stay when you visit the Gower

A fantastic love nest. So nice to experience a hotel which exhibits the personality of its careing owners. Every corner of the hotel is thoughtfully furnished. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

My only complaint from the whole stay was that the plates at dinner and breakfast were cold!!!

Amazing room, staff and facilities. The hotel is just lovely and the dog friendly lodge was absolutely fantastic.

Although we only stayed the one night we were made welcome. The Hotel has a lot of charm.

The breakfast was cooked beautifully as was the evening meal. Cannot fault it at all. The Hotel is quite rural but we intend to return in the warmer months to explore the Gower more .

Although the room was very tastefully decorated next time we come we will ask for a larger room.

Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful rural location but close to scenic and tourist locations.

Stayed during a heat wave and whilst there was a tower fan in the room it was not very effective. An oscilating round fan would have been better, but my bad, as I didn't raise it with staff.

The room carpet had quite a few stains and whilst we, as dog owners, appreciate that dogs do have accidents, covering the stains up with a few rugs does not deter from the fact that the room can smell and that the carpet needed a good clean! This was our only negative during our stay.

Another lovely stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Gower Hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff. We needed to change rooms before a wedding in the church next door and the staff went out of their way to ensure our new room was ready for us to move into so we could change, can't thank them enough!

Really enjoyed the stay. Tried to walk to the beach, but footpaths were not well marked or maintaine

Food was delicious

Could do with some more comfortable seats indoors downstairs - lounge missing, bar was not that comfortable. Although furniture outside was fine. Also bed seemed to slope to the sides - ended up sleeping sideways in order not to "slide off" (it was not too bad, but felt very strange and uncomfortable)

The hotel was lovely, the room was clean and had everything we would need. We only stayed 2 nights but the breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were exceptional, we couldn't fault it. The staff were lovely too and happy to chat. The hotel is situated in a good spot to see the surrounding areas and lovely beaches

Not a great issue but could hear traffic on main road at night as was hot and we had windows open

Dining: We were disappointed the the main dinner menu required one to choose a starter but still charged whether a starter was selected or not. A main dinner menu of £27.50 for one portion is unacceptable.

Bit noisy with doors banging from other rooms ☹️ And possibly would have liked some net curtains or something similar on the windows so you can open the curtains/blinds and be able to get dressed/undressed rather than have to keep blinds down and turn lights on…

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the food was great.

There is barely any mobile signal however it wasn't really an issue with the guest wi-fi and it meant no one could phone us so a peaceful getaway! Our only tiny issue with breakfast was the orange juice was more like squash.

Excellent location - breakfast beautifully cooked - only downside there was no choice of fruit or cereals with the full English breakfast. Excellent evening meal.
