Very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Breakfast was really nice, rooms were clean, quiet, everyone friendly!

Air conditioner couldn’t be switched off manually, I had to ask for it at the reception (20C was a bit fresh for me).

The breakfast was good, the time window a bit narrow but it was ok in general, with variety and alternatives for everyone I guess.

The rooms were not spacious and the bathrooms were really uncormfortable, with showers that were barely separaded by a small piece of glass from the rest of the space, making a mess with water spill.

Perfect stay only 10 min from Oslo airport

Excellent stay only 10 min from Oslo airport. It is located in the front of the train station and with the perfect connection to the airport and Oslo. Everything was perfect. They have an exceptional breakfast buffet and great place for the dinner as well.

We got a great welcome and was very happy to reach the hotel after having had several nights in a tent as we were walking the "Flyktningeruten" from Oslo towards Sweden.

Very Good but with a but with inconveniences that could be avoided

I didn’t like the conflict restaurant/bar/lobby in the space. I was there with my parrot to meet other parrot people. As Scandic is a pet friendly hotel, we usually go for it. Unfortunately there was an event going on in the big table right in the lobby while we were waiting to meet other people in the “lobby”… which basically consists into 2 chairs near the reception counter. The rest of the space is a bar, maybe guests can sit there but it isn’t a Scandic lobby such as you find in most hotels in the price range. The problem was honestly the amount of noise coming from a table of guys having a bachelor party. The parrots started screaming so we tried to find another place, but there is only the restaurant all around. As pets cannot be inside restaurants we were pushed out to the lobby again in a not very relaxed tone, but the worse was the guy in the reception. When I approached him, he suggested me to put the birds in the luggage room 🙄😐. Considering the price range, I really expected a better trained stuff to deal with such thing, specially because there is no favor. If pets weren’t allowed, we obviously could search for another solution. Overall the stay was nice, but it could be better if there was a better prepared stuff and a better designed lobby. It would avoid inconveniences that I wish I didn’t have for the price payed.

Fresh and cosy interior. Excellent location: In the direct vicinity of the Lillestrom station (10min to Oslo Central station by train), several Cafes and two Grocery stores. The best breakfast buffet during my 7 year travel experience! Very clean rooms. The bed was super comfortable. Very good noise isolation.

Hotel does not have its own parking. Private parking is located approximately 100m away (340kr a night). The AC panel was broken.
