About this house rental
Close to town, this spacious house comprises of a bright living room and adjoining kitchen with dining area. Has all modern conveniences including Wifi. Tastefully decorated, upstairs has 2 king size bedrooms (1 ensuite), a twin room and the main bathroom. Patio area out the back, and in a quiet estate with lighted footpath into town. Great base to explore Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara and Wild Atlantic Way.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the house to be a lovely departure point for our outings to Killarney national park and the ring of Kerry. We loved how we could walk to town to shops and restaurants and the grocery store safely and easily. The local bus stop was also easy to access. The home is spacious and well appointed. The yard was an extra bonus for my son to kick a soccer ball around. The brown bread and fruits were a welcome treat after a long drive.

The house was very clean and perfect for our needs. The host is very sweet and easy to communicate. She left some yummy bread and fruit which was so nice after a long drive.

Property was immaculate with thoughtful touches from the owner (fresh fruit, eggs, bread, and a helpful packet of information). Unlike other Vrbos that had limited amenities we loved all that this property had to offer. We ended up making dinner in the house the few nights we were there after picking up some groceries nearby. Kenmare is a cute town and you can get to places like the Ring of Kerry and Dingle easily. Hope to be back!

Location... We wanted to be close to Kenmare but not in Kenmare. We were 1.4km or a 10-minute walk to town, and the supermarkets were less than 1km away. The place is clean, and the beds are comfortable. We loved the fruit that Ann left and the brown bread with butter. There was fresh milk and cereals, which was perfect. We could not have been happier. It is truly a wonderful place. We had 5 adults, and the place worked well for us.

Ann's property met all our needs as a base camp for our visit to Kenmare. It has every amenity you could ask for! Located in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, shops, grocery stores, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance.
Ann was over the top responsive! She made sure we had everything we needed, and we felt as though if there were any issues she had our backs.

The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft. The house overall was immaculate and well stocked. Ann even provided fresh fruit, full size toiletries, home baked brown bread and a cooler for our day trip. She is the perfect hostess -- responsive, generous and very sweet. And all within a couple minutes of the Kenmare town center which might be the cutest place in all of Ireland. Could not have asked for a better accommodation.

Property was exceptional and as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Ann was very responsive and patient with us as we navigated our first stay in Ireland, dealing with differences in heating control, etc. between here and home. Thank you again, Ann.

The house in Kenmare is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Ann couldn't be nicer and it was a pleasure meeting her. The location is lovely and it's a very easy walk to town. Markets, shops, and restaurants are all close by.

I can’t say enough good things about this property and it’s host. It is very well appointed with everything you need, plus more. It was a wonderful jumping off point to visit Killarney National Park, drive the Ring of Kerry, and of course spend evenings strolling through lovely Kenmare. We felt at home here right away, we wanted for nothing, and only wish we could have spent a whole week here! We would definitely stay here again.

Ann meet us for check-in, explaining how a few things work that are different than my home country (US). She left us freshly baked scones, coffee/tea, and a few breakfast options, as well as a bowl of fresh fruit. The house was super clean and very comfortable. The location is perfectly situated for visiting the Ring of Kerry and surrounding area. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Ann was the most welcoming host we’ve ever experienced through VRBO. She baked us scones and left out a big bowl of fruit for us. She thoroughly explained all the workings of the house as well as left detailed written instructions including recommendations for restaurants and pubs. This was an amazing experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Ann is an excellent host. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped even down to crystal wine glasses which we used on New Years Eve. The walk into Kenmare is paved and takes 15 minutes if you don’t want to drive. We would book again.

I was here in 2019 and loved it..the house and the location. 2022 didn't disappoint. All was as I remembered, with some updates. Ann is super friendly and responsive to messages! Thanks for another lovely trip to Ireland! Hope to return again soon!

Perfect Stay!
We loved this house and Kenmare! Ann is the perfect host and was very responsive from the reservation process through checkout. She gave us a lot of information about sightseeing and restaurants in the area. She made delicious scones for our arrival. The house is as described and was very comfortable for our family of five adults. We could not ask for a better experience! We highly recommend staying at this home and hope to do so again!

Kenmare is a great location for exploring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle and Beara Peninsula as well as the south west of Cork.
The house is absolutely wonderful. It is perfect for walking into town to go to the many beautiful pubs ans restaurants. Supermarktes are only around the corner if you wish to cook yourself.
Ann provides more than what a normal holiday home rental usually comes with. No need to bring shampoo and similar, nor anything for your laundry. Ann provides everything. Most impressive were the food left for a good breakfast (cereals, milk, butter, jam, coffee, tea, eggs etc) and her home made bread for the first few days. Ann has communicated wonderfully with us from the start right through to the end, checking in to see how things were ... thanks so much. We had a fabulous time. We give it 5* and can thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent home.
Ann is an excellent host, her property is amazing. Only 10-15 mins walk to town or park for free at the church. The bakes Ann left were so good my daughter asked for the recipe. There was a toy chest which my grandson really enjoyed. A clean and spacious property, Ann was only a message or call away if you need help or advice. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Anne for the extra little touches that made our stay so special.

Lovely place!
This VRBO was 5-star. The house, the location and the amenities were even better than described. Ann was a super hostess and was kind enough to provide many of the basics travellers like us require but also added some very nice personal touches. I especially recommend her freshly baked bread. I can whole-heartedly recommend Ann's house to the VRBO community.

Nous nous sommes beaucoup plu dans cette maison confortable, agréable et très bien placée dans une rue calme et pas loin d'un supermarché. Les environs regorgent de sites et paysages à voir : Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry, Gap of Dunloe, Killarney, parc Bonane... Et Kenmare est une bourgade adorable. We would highly recommend this location. Ann is a fantastic host. From the home made brown bread to the detailed instructions for how to use the appliances to the recommendations for things to do. She is very personal as a host making sure everything is ok. The house worked fabulous. Very clean and the location was walking distance to the town. Amenities were top notch. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. Very clean. Would highly recommend this house. Thanks to Ann for being such a wonderful host.

Exceeded all expectations!
We booked this house to use as a home base while exploring Beara Penninsula, Ring of Kerry and the Kenmare area. From the time of booking to check out we had an excellent experience working with the owner, Ann. She connected with us right away to see if we had any other needs that she could prepare for us before our arrival to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were traveling with two 5 year old children and she asked if there was anything she could prepare for us to be sure they had something to do at the house as well. We arrived in Kenmare to check in later than expected and Ann was very flexible in meeting with us to check in. She even called a local restaurant to make reservations so we could have dinner right after check in as it was later in the evening.
When we arrived she greeted us with homemade brown bread, groceries for breakfast and fresh flowers on the table. The home was so clean and comfortable and was even better than the pictures show. The bedrooms were spacious and there was a nice patio with a table to sit outside in a private back yard. Being there made us feel like we were at home.
During our stay we were unable to find something we needed in town so we reached out to Ann and she immediately made calls to find what we needed and got back to us. She truly was an amazing hostess who wanted to be sure we had the best stay possible.
The house is walking distance from the city centre for shopping and restaurants, and is also walking distance to grocery stores.
If you are traveling to the Kenmare area this is a must book for a great stay! We will return!
