My stay was great, especially for the price. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Good wifi signal. Comfortable bed.

I wish I had known the road was ripped up right in front of the hotel. It may not have changed my decision to stay there, but at least I’d have expected to drag my rolling suitcase for 1 block thru a construction zone

Perfect for Iquitos

It's the perfect place! The rooms are air-conditioned and comfortable and breakfast is lovely. The main plaza is just a few blocks away and there are lots of shops and restaurants. The owner was so helpful as well!

There is major road construction along the street that Macambo is on which means it's a little bumpy to get to, but also that there is a lot of construction sand throughout the property, which can't be helped. The street side is also a little noisy overnight with people outside.

Highly recommended for short stays

Great convenient little place to stay the odd night or two. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. It's not the Ritz, but it has everything you need.

The shower could of been better and it would of been nice to have a English channel on the TV

very standard. what it says in description. hot water in shower wasn’t great, so that wasn’t ideal . wifi didn’t work- we were told it was due to the bad weather but I’m not convinced. Iquitos itself isn’t very nice. very rough, poor city. not much to do, but the accommodation worked fine. breakfast supplied was nice home cooked meal. 2 choses of scrambled eggs and ham on toast with bread or scrambled eggs and veg.

The best sleep in ages!

A wonderful place with clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent air con, free water to refill your bottles, a nice reception and the most courteous and professional staff we've come across on our 5 months of traveling from Mexico all the way down to Ecuador.

Shower wasn't exactly hot but it's so humid and warm out I didn't mind at all.

Superb

The staff was very friendly and extremly helpful. They even helped me to find a good day-tour. The location is amazing, very close to the center, only 1 block from Plaza de Armas and the Malecon. Will stay here again on my next visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we could check in early in the morning which we were so glad about. Breakfast is good

Room was not cleaned at all, floor was full of sand (from the road works just in front of the hotel), there was still used soap in the shower. There is no warm water and you can hear every word from people in the corridor. For this price i was disappointed

the breakfast was great, a convenient location, a wonderful staff, the room and amenities were unbeatable, great on site restuarant, plenty of others close by within walking distance,close to the airport, about 30 minutes in local traffic, cheap transportation anywhere you want to go, this is a place

New experience

the staff was polite and helpful. they spoke english and we could communicate. we enjoyed the sleep because the bed was very good. the location was just as good. close to the center. clean room.

We didn't like the breakfast and the wifi was bad.

Exceptional

This place was just amazing! The staff was great and very helpful - they also try to communicate in English. They pick us up from the airport, agreed on an early check-in, answered all our questions and were ready to help with everything. We were allowed to store also our luggage there for couple of days although we were not coming back to the hotel. The small cafeteria in the hotel has very good food and coffee. The atmosphere is amazing. The rooms are very clean and safe. If you are traveling to Iquitos definitely stay in this hotel.
