Hotel für einen Städtetrip in und um Weimar

Die Nähe zum Bahnhof ist aber auch vorteilhaft, um schnell von A nach B zu kommen, zumal beim Hotel und beim Bahnhof Busse halten, die in verschiedene Stadtteile fahren, z. B. in die Innenstadt oder nach Buchenwald zur Gedenkstätte. Die Ausstattung war dem Standard von B&B entsprechend und für einen Städtetrip vollkommen ausreichend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, beflissen und hilfsbereit.

Die Lage des Hotels hat einen kleinen Nachteil, denn es liegt hinter dem Bahnhofsgebäude und den Bahngleisen und es gibt keinen unmittelbaren Weg zwischen Hotel und Bahnhof, man muss einen Seitentunnel passieren oder komplett um den recht großen Block herumlaufen. Es ist machbar, aber wenn man kurze Wege bevorzugt (gerade wegen Gepäck) dann doch etwas umständlich, außer man behilft sich mit Bussen oder einem Taxi. Für 12,90€ pro Frühstück hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht, aber die Qualität des Angebots war gut und man konnte sich ja mehrmals etwas nehmen.

gelungener Zwischenstop

Das Stadtzentrum ist fussläufig gut erreichbar. Fenster lassen sich öffnen und auf Kipp stellen. Die Strasse war trotzdem kaum zu hören. Der Check-In -Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich.

Alles in Ordnung

Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür, die Zimmer sauber und ruhig. Das Hotel etwas oberhalb vom Bahnhof, zu Fuß etwa 20 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Alles o.k

Die Betten vlt ein bisschen zu schmal, aber es war ja nur für eine Nacht.

Dusty

The location was perfect, just around the corner of the station. The bed was comfortable.

I had some issues with two of my cards while doing the self check in. I wrote to the staff but they didn't answer at all, not even to say that they were pleased that it was resolved. The room was super dusty, it looked that it wasn't properly cleaned up in some time. Also the curtains didn't give much privacy. I really missed a kettle in the room.

Short but sweet

The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. The rooms were nice and quiet and not overly hot. There were about four different supermarkets local to the hotel.

The windows could really do with blinds. We didn't really want to have to close the curtains and put the light on, however, the residents of the neighbouring building could see straight into our bedroom if I didn't. There were very little communal areas to sit with friends and talk other than in the bedrooms.

Comfy Bed, parking, WiFi, very affordable vending machine. clean and competent staff.

considering the price I must say that breakfast was substandard. Tasty coffee.. ok but soggy breakfastrolls and 3d class cold cuts.

Had to stay in the room where I found hairs in the bed, but was refunded

Reception was quick to apologise and refund my stay.

No reception at night, so when I arrived and had a problem, there was no one available to assist me. I found lots of hairs in and around the bed, and the floors didn’t look very clean. The towels were a bit grey, like they were old. The location felt a bit unsafe. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Large parking, no noise, useful as a quick overnight stay

- there was no more shower gel in the canister - 1 towel was provided for 2 people - reception closes too early to do anything about it - extremely basic service, not even a bottle of water/coffee in room provided by hotel - overprices vending machine which only accepts cash

Too little value for your money

The breakfast was reasonable

This hotel was too expensive for a typical minimum-service hotel in a small town (I paid less for a Holiday Inn Express room next to the main railway station in Leipzig). It is located behind (i.e. not the city centre side) the station and, unless you are coming by car, requires a walk through a long, seedy tunnel that closes at 8 pm in a decrepit area of the town. When arriving you need to fill out an on-line form, and pay the entire bill, while standing outside with all your luggage, before you are left in. The bed is comfortable, but the room as a whole is minimally furnished and spartan.
