Location:
House is located in Locust Lake Village Rt 940 in Pocono Lake PA 10 min from Jack Frost ski area, 20 min from 'The Crossings Outlets and Camel Beach, 15 min from Mt. Airy Slot Casinos.

Locust Lake Village: Partially gated community is about 75% vacation renters. Village has several lakes that are stocked with trout. Lake also has bass and northern pike along with many pan fish. *** Owner will provide access to kayaks**** Lakes have lifeguard attended swimming area with sandy beaches. Bottom of swimming area is also sandy. Safe swimming area for young children. Floating dock for sunbathing. Full bathroom facilities and snack bar that provides drinks and snacks including hot dogs, pizza, nachos, ice cream...... shaded picnic area with tables and charcoal grills. Horseshoe pits and shuffleboard also available.

Village has lit tennis and basketball courts. To use amenities village requires guests 12 and older to purchase guest badges. 6 badges INCLUDED IN RENTAL, Cost is $9 per day for each additional.
****** Winter Activities: Village has its own ski hill with T-bar lift. Chalet at ski hill has snacks, Wi Fi, and a big screen TV. Lit sledding/ tubing hill, and lit skating are weather dependent. LLV charges $5 per car for a registration per security. Township Registration #- 005628

We had a lovely stay at this property. The home is clean, comfortable and great for a small group. We had two families staying, 4 adults and two children ages 4 and 7. We visited just after a recent snowfall, and the kids had a blast playing in the snow both at the property, and at the local sledding hill (which was super fun!) The house was spacious for our group, and we especially enjoyed the fireplace, jetted tub, and games in the basement. The owners even delivered foosballs when we discovered they were missing! Communication with our hosts was quick and helpful. We had a great time and would happily come back again!

This was our 2nd time staying at Cannon Lodge. House is great - plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, and a great rocker on front porch for morning coffee :) Location is close to lots of Poconos attractions. Locust Lake Village had a lot of activities going on during the week. And we were treated to early fall weather in August! Appreciate that we could bring our dogs too. Thanks for a fantastic week!

Awesome space, three separate levels where you can relax and still be a part of conversation. Beds were a little soft but on the whole was a great space to be in. Quiet area for where the house is. Porch and fire pit on the side of the house were daily. Would recommend and would stay here again.

After 2 years of masks and social distancing we wanted to have some fun in the snow with our grandchildren. The Cannon Lodge was perfect for all us to enjoy activities inside and outside Locust Lake. The game room and loft area are perfect rooms for the kids to enjoy.The kitchen and living room were perfect for playing games and enjoying the fireplace. The size of the home is cozy yet spacious with 3 levels of living. Locust Lake is close to all the ski resorts, bowling, sledding and shopping and a few local eateries. A great home for a family get together !

The pictures do not do this cozy cabin with a modern twist justice!!! Absolutely beautiful and spacious with an updated kitchen perfect for cooking. Easy check in and easy booking. Kimberly is very gracious and great communication. Definitely plan on booking again for the summer.

We had a great weekend! The house was very clean and the games in the basement was great entertainment for the kids - they had a blast! The owners were very responsive and helpful. Only thing to mention (Which is no ones fault) is that the driveway slopes and with all the slushy snow and rain, one of our cars was stuck and it took a while to get out! Maybe a disclaimer to let people know it could happen (if they don’t have all-wheel drive). Thanks for a lovely time!

This home was very clean upon our arrival, has a nice open floor plan throughout and beautiful gas fireplace we used each night. Upstairs is a loft area with a desk and sitting area, perfect area for kids to do schoolwork, also a very large master suite with bathroom. A few minor things that could be improved: As mentioned by other renters, the leather sofas on main level are uncomfortable as they have a large gap at the back of them, limited storage for personal items in bedrooms and kitchen, the heat pump for the HVAC system located outside below the master suite is rather noisy when running at night. Overall, none of these things prevented us from having a great week there, we have also had a bunch of deer at the property every afternoon, horseshoe driveway makes it easy to come/go. We normally rent a different property each time but would not hesitate to come back to this one.

House was great and definitely would stay again if the owner took care of some issues. The oven wasn’t great took forever to cook anything we made pizza which took really long to cook, really needs to get new living room furniture the couch is aweful and the beds are terrible to sleep on the king bed and the bed with the bunks both have big indents in the middle also had a problem with the electrical sockets in the kitchen and the bathroom on the first floor. Great House other wise.
