Eine Überraschung in der Medina von Monastir!

Das Dar Benti war einfach unglaublich! In einer kleinen Seitengasse (nur zu Fuß erreichbar) ist es mitten in der Medina von Monastir gelegen! Das Personal (allen voran Sarah, die Eigentümerin) war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit! Unglaublich tolles Frühstück! Am Abreisetag mussten wir früh los und es wurde uns extra früh das Frühstück serviert (außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten). Hotel total ruhig, mit nur 9 Zimmern und wunderbaren Pool am Dach.

Nichts. Alles Total sauber!

The most beautiful hotel I've ever been

I was and still am so impressed by this beautiful house renovated with so much style and attention to detail. It feels like you stay in a palace and you are the princess ;). The breakfast is world class, the entire staff and Sarah gave us a warm welcome and great recommendations for our stay in Monastir. The rooms are beautiful, everything perfectly clean and smells so good. The pool - it's just a dream. My overall experience: I've never been (although I travel a lot) to such a beautiful place (that means the hotel) as this. Many thanks for everything.

Wonderful oasis in the Medina.

it was a beautiful, relaxing place… a quiet oasis near everything. From the excellent breakfast to the kind staff, it was a great experience.

a nice place spoiled completely by checkout. Its no good have a small card on the reception desk in French saying credit

the hotel was tucked away in the Médina and was absolutely beautiful with a pool in the roof space and a lovely courtyard. sumptuous breakfast

my whole stay was ruined by the fact that I was told on checkout that I could not use a credit card. my booking after all was guaranteed by credit card. I had to go to the ATM and go though various cycles of drawing cash and then return to the hotel with large amounts of cash in my pocket. a hotel of this caliber should have a card machine

It is not a normal accommodation. This is really a whole experience... the stay, Dar Benti, the room, decoration, style, ambiance...and not to forget the Brakfast...u feel different and surrounded.... very recommended

Perfect boutique hotel

Everything! Such a beautiful place with great attention to detail everywhere. I really felt I was staying in a palace. Breakfast was excellent. Sara, the designer and owner, was very hospitable.

Unbelievable breakfast and delightful terrace

There are many selling points to this hotel - the beautiful rooftop pool for a dip and sunset drink, the most unbelievable breakfast I think you will ever find in Tunisia! Its enormous and so much homemade produce. I really, really recommend this hotel!

Classy authentic Monastir elegance in the Medina

Dar Benti is an extraordinary experience in all of Tunisia. The family have taken every attention to detail to restore the building and bring to life an elegant experience that Monastir can be so proud of. We were so delighted and appreciative the hosts and their above and beyond spirit to make us comfortable. We are anxious to come back again to Dar Benti.

Great local option

Location is great! Staff was super friendly, very willing to use our Google translate since we did not speak any French or Arabic! They we're super helpful with finding parking and restaurants as well. Beautiful traditional architecture, with a nice pool and rooftop. The breakfast offered lots of different options.

The place is older, the traditional architecture is beautiful but it also feels a bit outdated. The owner has done a lot of work to make it feel modern and comfortable. There is also no door to the bathroom, and the bathroom is rather small. Very little space around the toilet even.

Hall architecture, room, swimming pool, breakfast, hospitality/reception- Everything perfect

I would have liked to have local arabic/turkish coffee and tabuna bread for breakfast although there was a wide range of great dishes and it was all delicious

Great Stay.

Location, breakfast, room, Swimming pool. Everything.

Not That important: The water boiler (Bouilloire) in the room was not really clean, We used the microwave in the kitchen to warm water and that's was ok.

Wonderful place! Pictures do not give it justice. You can see attention to detail and a lot of love from the owner literally everywhere you go. The rooms are stunning and breakfast is the best we've had during our 2-week travels across Tunisia.

Exceptional

Dar Benti is a hidden gem in the Medina of Monastir. My mum described the pool area as something that might appear in Vogue magazine :D It is beautiful, clean, spacious and a treat to stay at. The home-cooked breakfast was absolutely sublime. 1 piece of advice is that a 1 night stay is not enough!
