Sauberkeit unzureichend

Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war freundlich und hat sich für die reklamierten Mängel entschuldigt.

Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig (ausgenommen das Bad, dieses war sauber). Auf dem Tisch im Zimmer war wohl mal vor langer Zeit etwas ausgelaufen, was seither niemand gereinigt hat. Es war ein dicker klebriger Staubfilm darauf, den man eigentlich sofort gesehen hat. Ebenso war die komplette Bettumrandung mit einem dicken klebrigen Staubfilm überzogen, auch hier muss man sagen, dass MUSS man sehen beim Bett beziehen, da es direkt neben der Matratze ist. Der Geruch im Zimmer war unangenehm und wurde auch bei geöffneten Fenster nicht besser. So billig ist das Zimmer nicht, dass man keine Sauberkeit erwarten darf.

Disappointing

Friendly staff, it is visible that they are involved.

Not everything was bad, but I am rather disappointed. First, we have to climb 42 steps to reach the 2nd floor where the hotel is. No elevator. Nobody at the reception, there is a message on the door, only in German. It is not hard to understand but it would help to have an English version and to display the phone number with the international code +49. The parking is free only on Sunday, otherwise you must leave your car further. But the biggest disappointment was that we booked this hotel especially because they offered "Extra bed upon request" for babies but when we arrived (and I wrote a note in my reservation about it) they were surprised and told me that they have no such bed. They offered us to put the baby between us on the double bed but it had 2 mattresses so we could not but the baby between them, this would be dangerous and not comfortable. So the night was difficult for us, and this is not what we were expecting.

Good breakfest, great location. Clean room.

It was hot weather outside and air conditioning would be nice. Public parking available only during weekends.

Vogtland is no longer surprised. Accommodation always exceeds expectations. Breakfast and hostess service are worth at least 2 * 10.

I had a great time and a cosy hotel room at Hotel Garni!

I had a great stay at Hotel Garni in Rodewisch. I booked in very spontaneously and everything there was great! The host is very friendly, and I had a free welcoming Prosecco and a cold beer for a very delightful evening in the Cosy hotel room. Everything was very clean in the Hotel. The host treated me with a tasty breakfast, which was included in the costs. I didn’t except that and was really happy about it!

This hotel exceeded my expectations, had all the features I require and more. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. I felt at home.
