A terrible property over priced.

Not much

Terrible beds. So hard and almost like sleep on a board The top two bedrooms were accessed via a staircase without hand rails that was dangerous and slippery Access to the property was impossible hundreds of stairs that were so difficult to manage

Wonderful apartment with great view over Amalfi.

Wonderful view from the balcony. Great location, centrally located. Quiet, comfortable beds.

The main bedroom had no AC, just a fan and the window blew open when we had storms, flooding the floor. However, this was a minor inconvenience, as the weather was good most of the time. I would stay there again.

Great host, good centrally-located apartment, with flaws

The property had a lot of great characteristics! It is clean, spacious, close, and has an incredible view of Amalfi that is hard to beat. It is also very close to the city center: we were able to book boat excursions and hop on the bus just minutes from the apartment. The kitchen was solid and easy to cook in, and the terrace and living room were nice places to relax. We also had access to beach towels that we could use and a washing machine for our clothes. The host Pina was amazing, providing us some food essentials upon arriving and helping us book a driver for our early flight on the day of departure. For all of this, and being on the Amalfi coast, this was a good value. Thank you, Pina!

While great in public spaces like the living room and kitchen, the bedrooms and bathrooms weren’t as comfortable. There are two rooms with AC (not three), where one of them is a single room - only 3 people have access to AC. The rooms with AC/one bathroom are very sloped, two of us hit our heads despite best efforts to duck. As a result of the AC unit, there’s a growing puddle of water on the carpet (even when regularly turning the AC off), likely causing mildew in the room. The shower’s water was pretty inconsistent in temperature, a small inconvenience.

There are 187 steps up to the house but worth it for the view.

The view, looking out over Amalfi and the coastline. One bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Two bedroom and a bathroom upstairs.

It was Magical mostly thanks to our wonderful host Pina.

We didn't like we loved our host Pina. She went above and beyond to make our trip even more special. She meet us at the ferry station walked us to our apartment. She treaded us like we where he close friend. Pina helps us set up most of our reservations and was always checking in on us to see if she can help. She was an amazing resource. I fell lucky to meet her and had her help. I would highly recommend rent this apartment based on Pina and its location.

Really nothing you just have to use the lift to help reduce the stairs. Which really aren't that bad.

Beautiful view, spacious apartment- it takes more than a little work to get to the flat and enjoy it

Pina was very communicative and arranged for pickup at the airport and for someone to meet us to bring us to the apartment. The apartment is spacious and has a spectacular view.

The apartment is high up on the mountain- and I mean HIGH. We were forewarned about 50 steps (or so). We counted- it took 192 steps (all different depths, sizes and shapes) to get up to the apartment. It was so challenging to get up and down to the apartment that we had to strategically decide when to go out and come back, because doing it more than twice a day was torture- there was no running back if you forgot something! Also, there are three bedrooms in the apartment, but only two (on the top floor) had air conditioning (one of which dripped enough that the floor was saturated). That wasn't represented in the posting and definitely should be.

THE VIEW, and being greeted by Pina at the Port to guide us where to go was really nice

Great exercise, worth it for the views but let down by lack of hot water and shabby

The size of the property, space available in the lounge and bedrooms, the balcony and the views were stunning. We actually enjoyed getting fitter climbing the 180 steps up to the apartment 3 times a day, all part of the experience. The parking below (180 steps) was convenient but expensive

Not enough hot water for 3 people never mind 5. The beds/bedding was not comfortable. 1 shower useable whilst the other in use, hot water runs out after 2 people. The kitchen and bathrooms were very dated, there were large water stains on a bedroom carpet from a skylight being left open. It was cold at night, upstairs in the property in Oct.

Italian style with best view

1st floor with living room and one bedroom and one bathroom and kitchen and terrace. All rooms very spacious and comfortable. 2 upper bedrooms with very small bathroom. Under the roof with limited headspace for taller people. The host was very helpful, she supplied us with some groceries, this was very nice and helped a lot. There is 180 stairs to the apartment. Good for fitness. There is also a lift with a walk distance.

Loved it.

There is so much to like about this place. The hosts were wonderful, the place has fantastic views and well accommodated our family of 4. There were also some nice touches by the host to make us feel really welcome.

The main thing was that lack of hot water. It ran out pretty quickly and was somewhat temperamental. We were advised to leave a 30 minute gap between showers and to have quick ones, which we did, but we still did not manage to have a decent 3 minute shower each. But let me say, that everything else was so great about this place, that we were happy to put up with this - but if the owner wants to improve things, and can, then addressing this so that guests can have a nice hot shower each wuold do wonders for the experience.
