We had a great stay at this atomspheric old hotel within the walled city

Our room for three was a good size, and had a great view over the public square, Place des Frères Lamennais. We ate in the restaurant one night, which was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and some spoke English well.

Would not suit people with access needs, as there is no step-free access. Also, the charming but tiny lift stops between floors, so you always need to ascend or descend half a floor by the stairs to get to and from it. The breakfast offer did not include gluten-free bread, or dairy-free milk.

Great place and location. Close to the ferry port for an early departure. Staff were great and they stored my bicycle in

L'emplacement. L'accueil. Notre étage et chambre complètement rénovés

Des bruits, ce qui semblait être des déplacements de meubles (?) le soir après 23h. Poussière et cheveux sous le toilette suspendu (très visibles à cause de la lumière sous le toilette)

beautiful city to visit absolutely, in a hotel within the walls, in the historic center

Goog location within the walls a stone's throw from the sea and shops. large room for 4 people, second room separated by a curtain. spacious bathroom

service could be improved as a courtesy. we waited 10 minutes before paying for a phone call to end, I hope it was work. an extra smile wouldn't hurt…

absolutely brilliant

from the I arrived I was made to feel very welcome. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. And yes I would stay there again, it was top class. Thank you

Late check in (9.30pm) after ferry. Central.location, garage for bicycles. Newly refurbished room, good shower.

Basic breakfast, room was small with small window. (We enjoyed s second stay in room 15 better!)

Good choice for intra-muros

Newly decorated room and new bathroom with good shower. Our room (15) had a nice view over a square and big picture window - so it was light and airy. Heated towel rail. Great location. Good evening meal. Early check in, helpful staff with garage for bicycles

Hotel was nice and clean, looks like a recent revamp and the decor was lovely. TV worked well and had a good range of channels.

Check in was a little difficult as the place was locked. I rang the phone number many time but no one picked up. The staff from the pub next door tried to assist and said it seems to be a common occurrence. I finally managed to enter the premises by following another guest into the building. Very stressful experience.

Lovely hotel, excellent location and accommodation. Highly recommended.

This is a great little family-run hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfy, and the shower was really great. The restaurant is also excellent and really good value. I cannot find fault with this wonderful hotel.
