Horrific

Nothing, everything was dirty, bad smell, bathroom with spiders, no hand soap, the horrible mattress, a mess.

Ik ben hier niet geweest omdat ik deze accommodatie geannuleerd heb via Booking.com Maar bij Booking.com hebben ze de verkeerde accommodatie geannuleerd! Gelukkig had ik zelf al contact met studio flat Alexandra Palace gehad om door te geven dat ik gewoon bij studio flat Alexandra Palace zou verblijven. Dus heeft zij de annulering geweigerd. Booking zou eigenlijk Harringey moeten annuleren zoals ik telefonisch had doorgegeven. Dit is niet gebeurd.....

Not recommended.

Literally nothing.

The place was really dirty. There were few spiders in the room. The sheets were worn, didn’t see a kitchen and no staff members and no heating either.

It was only for a few days, perhaps I would stay there again.

Hot water for a proper bath.

The way that they handle the keys is disapointing. For example if a guest wants to get all the keys from the rooms, he can easily do it. I suggest electronic lockers in each door. The same in the entrance.

It's not too far from overground station or a few mins on a bus to one of 2 tube stations manor house or Finsbury Park.. Its just of the main road with all shops/takeaways Room was nice and bed was comfortable but a bit squeaky..

Bare basic necesities only.

There was general confusion regaring rooms. The room we were supposed to stay in was occupied. Later when someone else checked in, they were supposed to stay in our room. The caretaker lives behind the house and was very loud late at night. The kitchen was dirty. One fridge was disconnected and the other filled with old food.

The room was specious. Good view on garden

The website asked if any special requirements. Unfortunately nobody take in consideration our suggestions. We asked specifically for drinking water Brita filter water or mineral water. We wouldn't mind to pay for water online or cash. There was a loud argument in the morning. But there is no reception no security. The chambermaid arrived just before 11 o'clock. Too late to complain. Maybe in the future you would invest in kettle. Coffee tea sachets. Also shampoo shower gel sachets. We wouldn't mind to pay £5 to cover your costs. You provide only one towel. Although room was booked for 2 people. Rather ridiculous. Bath mat would be necessary as floor wet, slippery hazard front of both showers upstairs downstairs.

It's very dirty. You can't see anything though the window is so dirty.Bed bugs live in bed. There's mold in the bathroom. There's no spare key from the front door.

Some people live in the house so the house was not well clean. The people next room have guess all the time and smoke mariguana (wed) all the time so the house smell funny all the time

location was ideal and as a last minute cheap option it was satisfactory for the price.

Unless you really want your own room, you’ll probably get a nicer experience in a dorm at one of the backpacker hostels

Location was useful for me. Decent places for food within 2 minutes walk. Cheap (for London).

It was cheap and I expected it to be basic but being clean should be standard. it was warm and dry. I had a single room (7). The door was lockable but thin- I wouldn’t have left anything valuable in there for too long. The bed had obviously been repaired with a length of timber. It was functional and the mattress was adequate. The bedding had probably been washed. There were cigarette burns on the draws and end of the bed frame and ash on the radiator. Any cleaning of the room was very superficial. There was a sizeable hole in the very old laminate flooring which is a real safety issue. The whole place stinks of cigarette smoke from other residents. Carpets in hallways threadbare. The bathroom was pretty dirty, the toilet flush button had been replaced but didn’t fit. Functional but delicate. The bin for sanitary products had no lid. The shower (over bath) was functional though held together with selotape. Emailed entry instructions (code for key box shared with other residents ) though I didn’t receive the email until after I’d had to call the person, who was helpful but apparently not on site. So I could lock the front door from the outside but not clear how the door was secured from the inside- someone else on site, with very limited English, who might have been a live-in care taker, might have tried to explain this, but I’m not certain. Bloke seemed friendly enough though. I didn’t see any other residents and had no problems with noise etc. Didn’t feel unsafe, but glad I was there only one night, and if I’d been a lone woman I wouldn’t have stayed.

Very basic, uncomfortable atmosphere

No chairs in the room or door hooks. No lampshades on the light. No lamp or bedside table. Cigarette butts and smoking in the kitchen. You have to justify why you looked in the fridge to the couple who appear to be living there and have taken over the kitchen. They are also the people who are leaving cigarette butts in the kitchen and smoking. Very unpleasant smell.

I don't think it was good even for the price (£45)

There was electricity, running water

Bed didn't smell fresh, people smoking in house, could smell it in my room, everything dirty in kitchen, bed uncomfortable. Furniture in room pointless, looks like it's just been picked up for free on the side of the road. There's absolutely no love or care been put into this place, it's not place for people stay. I would only advise it if you are absolutely desperate and there is no where else.

Absolutely horrific traumatising stay

The property was absolutely dreadful, the worst place we have ever stayed- nothing was clean, where do I even start; the room had not been cleaned at all, the floors were sticky and dirty, cigarettes and ends on the floor, stains all over the sofa bed. The bed sheets were stained and miss matched, the walls were filthy, the sides and draws were filthy, I don’t think this room has ever been cleaned, it’s not fit to sleep in. The whole place stank of damp fags, the walls are so thin we heard someone being sick this morning. No soap in the bathroom. Kindly we were provided with a towel in the room however after the level of cleanliness we couldn’t trust it. I would seriously recommend staying elsewhere.
