Pleasure in Porto

Our host , Armand was a rock star from booking until we left. The place was clean comfy and pretty. It had everything we needed to feel at home and Armand was helpful in all aspects. Including calling a friend at TAP to try and locate my luggage. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Porto.

An excellent host and exceptional, spacious accommodations complete with a garden space.

The apartment, garden and host are all excellent! Armando met us both at check-in and departure, was very flexible on check-in and check-out times, and even hand delivered a second set of keys when we needed them (while we were out sight-seeing, no less). The apartment is very well equipped and Armando is a gracious host. The back garden is a welcome bonus and lovely for breakfast and dinner al fresco. The location is nice, near to a lovely park and with good proximity to a couple of metro stations (~10-15 minute walk). Between that and uber, we never moved our car the whole time we were in Porto. This is the nicest place we stayed in Portugal. I can't wait to water the garden again, in exchange for wine!

Hard to think of anything. We hope next time to take Armando up on his offer to teach us some Portuguese cooking with the grill and oven in the garden.

We could tell there is a lot of care that goes into this apartment. Well maintained, clean and everything we could need to prepare meals, was provided. Being met at check-in was a nice touch. I appreciated the run through of how things operated, and the port samples were a nice added bonus! The back yard was a great place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee. It was also nice being only a 3-5 min walk from the grocery store.

Lovely apartment close to city centre

Very friendly host who gave us lots of information and local tips. Very pretty garden. Good kitchen equipment. Our host gave us some nice port and a red wine to taste. The apartment was close to the city centre (~ 30min walk)

Parking spot was just on the street (no reserved or guarded place)

From the wonderful helpful welcome to the comfortable living in this large apartment with a great outdoor garden we enjoyed our stay immensely. The neighbourhood was quiet, safe a short walk to local restaurants, shops, buses, metro station and Porto football ground. It made our first visit to Porto very special. The apartment had everything you could possibly want. It was immaculately presented and clean. I would recommend staying here. Thank you for making our stay so special.

I appreciate your kind welcome. Prior to arrival, he sent the preparation file, which included instructions for the equipment, things to do in Porto, and accommodation rules. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms a living room, kitchen, laundry room, garden and an outdoor barbecue area. It is very roomy and clean. I adore the room's fresh fragrance. Everything I need for my home is provided in the unit. Heartily advise staying here in Porto.

Armando is the best host we have ever met. Our flight was late, we arrived very late in the night, he waited for us. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The garden is wonderful, we drank our morning coffee there with pleasure. We had portwine and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. There is free parking in the street. I totally recommend the place!

Our stay was amazing. If we return to Porto i will for sure contact Armando to book his place again!

The location is nice, close to nice restaurants, a grocery store and a nice park. Armando was AMAZING, so accommodating and super knowledgeable. He booked the hop on and hop off buses for us. As well as the Douro cruise (which unfortunately we had to cancel because one of us got sick). You can tell he takes so much pride in his home! The house itself is amazing and very spacious. It has everything you could possibly need. The backyard was so great! We used it for a few dinners (did take out from one of the restaurants nearby) and for breakfasts.

Very nice garden and comfy beds with a nice and quite neighborhood. The owner was super friendly and welcoming which added to the overall experience.

It is a pleasant stay and we will come back again.

Armando came to meet us. He was warm and welcomed us with a drink. Big thanks to Armando. He helped us when my husband was sick during the stay and went to the hospital. We enjoyed our stay in Porto.

What not to love about this place? The apartment is huge. Very comfy bed. Clean. Ideal place for family. We've been in Porto many times, this accomadation is the best one so far. Def, gonna come back. Oh, best part of all, a very attentive host. Also kind, honest, and very helpful. Thank you for everything Mr.Amando! See you next time.

Perfect apartment with an e Perfect apartment with an excellent host

The apartment was perfect for our family, (2 adults, one 4 year old and one 1.5 year old). Everything was very clean and very well equipped, right down to providing a cot complete with bedding, a baby bath, children's toilet seat and the use of a buggy. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, toastie machine, full oven and hob. The private garden area was an added bonus, with outdoor cooking facilities and dining area. Very safe area for the children. The location was perfect, set on a very quiet residential street just 2 minutes from a bus stop into the city centre or 10 minutes from a metro stop. There were supermarkets and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Armando was a great host, the information he provided for our stay was excellent and we could tell he genuinely cares for his guests, all the extra touches were appreciated. We took a transfer back to the airport with him, for an extremely reasonable price and he even provided car seats for the children. We would highly recommend staying here and we really could not fault anything. We never return to the same place but we are already thinking about booking for next year.

Very spacious apartment with a nice garden. Very well equipped kitchen, with good knives(!).Very comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. There is a bakery and a supermarket just down the road. The bus stop is around the corner and there are 3 busses to take you to the city centre. If you like walking, you can even walk to the centre, it took me 30 minutes down hill. The host Armando welcomed us with a nice glass of Port wine. The wifi worked very well, which was needed for our “workation”. We could park on the street for free.

The house can sleep 4 adults and there is also a children’s room, but for that many people there is only one sofa( in our case that was enough, being just 2). Also, an extra lamp in the living room with more cozy light would be nice.

Very nice location for a family with children. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, having a busstop towards downtown nearby. The house is very clean and has everything to make you feel at home. The owner Armando takes very good care of his guests.

Comfortable rooms , all the facilities you need in apartment.

The apartment has problem with the electrical system. The heating was electrical and if you turned it on and open the oven all the system blocked or if you wanted to dry your hair also you had to turn of the heat.
