Muy bueno

La atención de la señora Adriana y el señor Juan fue excelente muy colaboradores y prestos a ayudar, el aire acondicionado funcionaba bien al igual que el ventilador y la nevera, la habitación estaba limpia y le hicieron aseo los días que estuvimos, nos dieron recomendaciones de la isla. Muy bien atendidos.

La habitación era demasiado pequeña a los lados de la cama había que pasar caminando de medio lado pues era muy estrecho, no fue mayor problema pues prácticamente solo estábamos ahí para dormir, el resto de tiempo estuvimos por fuera, es un poco lejos si uno se moviliza caminando, nos podíamos demorar 20 minutos hasta la playa cuando hacía mucho sol, pero si se moviliza en moto o en carrito de golf es a 5 minutos de todos lados.

Very cool budget hotel with clean rooms and great Landlords

This is a cool budget hotel, that gives you a very clean room, a comfortable bed with air con, fan, flat screen tv, fridge and ensuite bathroom with a shower. It has all the essential of an hotel at the price of an hostel! You have also a nice area where to prepare your meal with a gas hob and a microwave and essential kitchen stuff (you have to buy yourself the food) a next door big supermarket (very handy) a beautiful pub resturant nearby (5 star food, it is called 5 sabores I believe). The best plus are the landlords, who are very kind and helpful with every need (from renting a bike to taxi service). Center of the town is around 10-15 min walking as it is the sprat beach and the Caribbean sea

Room are a bit small if you need the bedroom for anything but rest. Common space has two tables and 4-5 stools and may become crammed to prepare food or breakfast.

Great value for money

Great value for money. Accommodation is really nice and cozy and owners are really really great, friendly open people who can help you with everything. Rooms are clean and comfy. There is kitchen you can prepare breakfast and also there is market right next to accommodation.

Exceptional

Adrianna and Juan Carlos are lovely hosts who really go above and beyond for their guests! The entire property as well as my room were very clean and well-organised. You can book tours or rent a car directly at the Posada and although it's not located directly in the city centre, it's only a short walk away. There is strong wifi as well as good a/c in the rooms.

clean safe budget option far from centre

It was clean and safe.

It’s really far from the main beach, restaurants and amenities - around 40 minutes. Adriana was very efficient but I think could have given me better advice about things to do when I first arrived. I didn’t enjoy my stay in San Andres very much and definitely won’t be returning.

Friendly people, next to a bakery and supermarket. And cheap place to have your own room while city and airport is within walking distance. Golf car, scooter and bikes available for rent as well.

Good place :)

Room was nice & clean, with AC, a fan and a fridge. Owner was nice and we rented a bike from the place, which was good and at a reasonable price.

A bit far from everything & a bit noisy at times.

very friendly and helpfull staff rooms are good for resting wifi ok-good shower available inf the mainentrance to get rid of beachsand very clean 10 to 15min walk to the airport, no taxi needed 😉

about 15 to 20min walking to the mainbeach it lacks of common area to hangout, this would make the stay from a 9 to a 10

The family that runs the Posada San Nicolas treat you like family and they do their best for you to feel welcome. We book a tour by boat with them and it great with the best price. We also rent bicycles with them for very cheap price. They also ofered coffee and typical food a few times. We can trust them you will be in good hands.

Cold water in the shower but we knew about that before we booked and was not a problem because the weather is very hot.

Juan and adri are so helpful! They gave us better prices for all the attractions and juan drove us to most. The room was always cleaned and they gave us great tips.

I had a great time staying at Posada San Nicolas. Juan and his family are just perfect, they really do everything to help. The posada itself has a very good location, it is around 10 to 15 minutes walking to the island central area. Although it is a poor part of the island, I felt safe walking, even late in the night (as it was always very busy). It is also very close to the airport. The room is very decent, with airconn and a good bathroom. As it happens in all no luxury places in San Andres, there is no hot water, which isn't really a problem considering the very hot weather in the island. As I was saying, Juan did everything he could to help me have a great time at the island. He rented me a scooter, which is a good thing to do to go on a tour around the island. He even taught me how to manage the scooter, as I was not used to it. Every day he took me to the tours with the scooter, even when they were a short distance walk from the posada (and at no cost). In the last day, he also took me to the airport with no cost. All in all, I definitely recommend this posada and would certainly stay there again. ¡Muchas gracias amigo!
