Horrible

La maison est magnifique ainsi que les prestations

Ne surtout pas louer cette maison si vous ne supportez pas le bruit. En effet à 100m un club restaurant est ouvert avec la musique à fond toute la journée. Nous ne sommes pas resté et il nous avons été seulement remboursé de 3 nuits. La communication avec le propriétaire n’était pas fluide et malhonnête À FUIRE !!!!!!!

Location is one of the best. Property is secluded and private surrounded by lush greens and they even grown their own jackfruits! The pool is the highlight of the villa, well maintained and lighted.

Our idea of paradise. Great family villa in an idyllic location.

What a find! Located not far from the city centre on Jalan Sri Widari (don’t worry about having to walk the narrow busy road, just use the Grab app to call a taxi, it’s so easy - only IDR50 one-way). It was a bit tricky to find at first as it is set back with a rice paddy at the front but once you know where it is you can just easily find your way back. Once you’re inside, you’ll never want to leave, it is so lovely and homey. My family of 5 (plus a one-year old toddler) loved it! We were in the infinity pool within minutes of arrival, it was that irresistible. Surrounded by rainforest trees, it was so peaceful and idyllic. Note: the Villa backs on to a deep ravine and the infinity pool edge takes advantage of that gorgeous view across. There are balcony railings on the ravine-side of the Villa. It is really quite safe despite earlier reviews. The bedrooms were really comfortable with gorgeous views of the pool and rainforest. We all slept very well during our stay. The ensuite bathrooms are huge by Balinese standards - one even had the most delightful outdoor stone bathtub, my little granddaughter looked forward to her bath each night. There’s a filtered water dispenser at the entrance so you don’t have to worry about buying bottled drinking water at all. The kitchen is well-appointed with the necessary utensils. Not that you need to use the kitchen, for IDR70/pax Gusti the housekeeper will cook you a nice Balinese breakfast if you fancy (even dinner if you give her advanced warning). The staff (Gusti and Eka the manager) indeed are a great asset to the Villa, they are the true epitome of Balinese hospitality, so warm and friendly and ever so accommodating. You want anything, just ask! I must also mention the wildlife around the place: birds, geckos, butterflies, ants etc all add to the charm of the place, we are in the tropics after all. My granddaughter enjoyed spotting the ant trails on the railings, so cute! We’re so glad we chose to stay here!

Bella villa ma pessimo rumore dal club di fronte

La villa è molto bella e in mezzo al verde. Animali come uccelli, scoiattoli, gechi, rane possono essere dei simpatici visitatori. La piscina è grande anche se leggermente fredda. Il salone all'aperto è molto spazioso. Lo staff è molto disponibile e gentile e ha pulito la villa ogni giorno.

Il rumore molto alto di un club che si trova di fronte soprattutto dalle 3 o 4 del pomeriggio fino alle 7 di sera, dopo diminuisce ma questo impatta molto l'esperienza e non permette di rilassarsi durante la maggior parte del pomeriggio. La proprietà ha informato solo dopo la prenotazione e due settimane prima dell'arrivo offrendo cancellazione gratuita o una notte gratis (5 prenotate), ma questo è scorretto perché con 2 settimane di preavviso è impossibile prenotare qualcos'altro. I condizionatori sono molto rumorosi. Il livello di manutenzione della villa è accettabile ma si potrebbe fare di più. I cuscini delle camere da letto non sono comodi. Se non ci fosse stato il fastidioso rumore la villa meriterebbe un 8.5

Our host was extremely attentive and helpful and ensured we enjoyed our time with her. I would recommend 🙏

The property was lush and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

After seeing the photos of the amazing bath, I was super excited to be able to relax and enjoy a lovely warm soak. Unfortunately their water system cannot generate enough warm water for a bath.

The host Gusti is fantastic. She came each morning with her husband to cook us a traditional breakfast, then cleaned afterwards. She was amazing. The villa is so beautiful. It was perfect

Good looking villa, rustic modern interior design, nice vibes, open/semioutdoor space but very private and natural view and sound. I like this swimming pool, clean and infinty concept with forest view. The host ibu gusti was very humble, good communication, and helpfull

it’s in a beautiful part of Ubud, close to shops and restaurants. The staff make it exceptional.

the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and kind. Gusti cooked us breakfast each day, which was amazing. could not have asked for better service.

Some furnishings need updating, such as the kitchen cupboards and air conditioning.

Exceptional

Gusti looked after us very well, she was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Villa was fantastic, nice and quiet, lots of tropical plants etc

Some people have complained that it is too far to walk. Well we walked to Ubud centre every day no problem, and anyway people DO YOUR RESEARCH first. Don't book a villa 20min walk away and then complain about the walk !!!!

Not as advertised

Gusti was lovely and tried very hard to make out stay comfortable. The pictures of the Villa are deceiving. when we arrived the mats on the pool lounges were dirty. Gusti said new ones had be ordered but would not arrive for at least two weeks . We were unable to sit by the pool on the hard rattan chaise lounges. The kitchen was TOTALLY NOT EQUIPPED with the basics one would expect . The bedrooms were fine. The property is NOT WITHIN WALKING distance of the town . Too much traffic to walk , especially after dark. We left 3 days early .

Gusti is the best host ever!!!!! We loved our stay at Sunari villa! Gusti was a fantastic host and cooked us the most amazing Indonesia dinner. We had so much fun sharing stories with Gusti and we miss her already! Best location only a short walk to main ubud shops, lots of restaurants near by and amazing pool, bathroom and bedroom! and even Netflix for the rainy days. Thanks so much for everything Gusti we love you!!!
