Escapada al Lago de Como

Comfortable and good value

Good location (just 10-15 min walk down to the lake front and 5 mins from a supermarket). Comfortable for a few nights. Easy checkin etc and great communications from Alberto.

A couple of small things need to be looked at - toilet seat slightly broken, and bed sheets slightly discoloured in places so could be replaced. The apartment would also benefit from some blinds, rather than the black covers which have to be put up and taken down every day. Nothing which would stop us staying again though!

Lovely little apartment which was nice and homely with a big comfy bed

A little bit far away from the main town with no option of getting a taxi back late at night - that might have been because it was bank holiday weekend though!

A great base for exploring Lake Como

Very central, The hosts were very helpful with their suggestions and pamphlets- the apartment was very clean and comfortable and a great base for exploring the lake,

Parking could be a problem but we found a good deal at the local railway station.

Nice and clean apartment!

Close to the center. Clean apartment, confy bed. There was AC in the flat, which is good when it's hot outside. Fast check-in. I will recommend the place.

Superb

My partner and I spent three days here. Sabrina and Alberto were kind and welcoming and very easy to communicate with (we didn't realize the extent of the Gotthard Tunnel traffic and were also caught in 4 hours of pouring rain and they were very easy to keep in touch with to explain all of our delays!). The room was clean and quiet and well-equipped. It is about a 20-minute walk to the lake and there is (paid) parking within a 3 minute walk. The property is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator if necessary. The pizza place below the building is fantastic (although I wouldn't recommend the beer).

2 trivial comments: the lighting in the kitchen/salon is a bit dark and the bathtub is a bit small.

The location of Iris Home is great and the studio good.

We got a telephone number of a lady who we'd rang 10 minutes prior to arrival and she was there when we arrived and showed us the property and explained everything. She was very helpfull. The location of Iris Home is great. Just a few minutes walking distance of the old centre. Parking is a little bit more challenging. To find an affordable parking garage is an assignment because in the streets there was no space. (and is also with a parking meter). The studio was nicely furnished, good bed (the pillows we didn't like to much). Allthough we were glad there was an airco there was the down side that it made a lot of noise. In the kitchen we missed flat plates but that is a small detail. We had a good stay in Iris Home. Thank you for your hospitality.

Although at booking there was stated that the spoken language is English the lady only spoke Italian. Luckely for us we speak a little bit Italian but for people who don't they have a problem.

Nice apartment! Good value!

Clean, spacious, AC, TV, fridge, comfortable bed. The owner responds very fast on messages. Good communication.

A little far from train station and ferry, around 20mins walk. The noise from neighbour's dog & church bells, many many different times(8:15, 8:30, 9:00a.m.) in the morning! No city/garden/lake/mountain view. You can only see others balconies.
