Mainio ja rauhallinen majoitus lähellä keskustaa

Hotelli entisessä vanhainkodissa. Tilava huone, leveät ovet, ei kynnyksiä. Useita keittiöitä ja oleskelutiloja käytävillä. Omatoiminen, ilmainen sauna ja infrapunasauna asiakkaiden käytössä. Erittäin joustava sisäänkirjautumisaika ja iso parkkipaikka aivan oven edessä. Kävelymatkaa keskustaan vain 1,4 km. Todella rauhallinen alue sekä hotelli. Aamupalaleivät ja hedelmät ym toimitettiin edellisenä iltana kun buffet- aamiaista ei ollut vähäisen täyttöasteen vuoksi. Aaiainen oli riittävä.

See hotell pakub privaatset, rahu ja vaikust (vanadekodumiljööd) ja segamatut omaetteolemist.

Kohv oli joodav, söök oli väga kvaliteetne,tervislik, isuäratav ja söödav ent minu varasemate hotellikülastuste "kollektsioonis"(40 aasta jooksul ehk 500) "rootsi laua" valikuvõimalustelt platseerus kindlalt 498. kohale- ehk eelviimaseks. Tubli, sest juba V.I. Uljanov-Lenin ütles: "Pigem vähem- aga paremini! Hea oli see, et köögi bakterioloogia sobis minu seedeekulgla omaga ehk ei tekitanud seedehäireid- vaevusi.

Vastuvõtt ei olnud tavaturisti maitsele vastav e. ei olnud piisavalt pidulik. Oleks oodanud vähemalt lilledega vastuvõtukomiteed ja selle esimehe kõnet. Olukord kujunes aga pisut erinevaks. Samas oli ka häid uudiseid kõiksugu välismaiste luuretöötajaile, agentidele, mafioosodele hotelli sissepääs oli kõigile konspiratsioonireeglitega kooskõlas hästi maskeeritud: raskesti ülesleitav, suletud, vähese infoga, ilma receptionitöötaja kohaloluta - jättis mulje, et see ei ole avalik hotell vaid hoopis mingi remondisolev vanadekodu. Soovitaksin eeltoodud komandeeritutele soojalt. Receptioni- daam saabus küll millalgi, lastes meid eksklusiivselt ukse ca 15-20 min oodata ja mõistatada kas asutus-hotell on üleüldse suletud või, et oleme sattunud valele aadressile.

Better to avoid this place

Ok for one night max if you can't find anything in Porvoo.

- I honestly think that it is illegal to put an emergency exit door inside a room which can be closed, next to a bed. What if there was an emergency? Would people be supposed to rush next to our bed to get out of the hotel? It is inadmissible. Not to mention that I had a green light switched on, above my head, the whole night and I couldn't sleep at all. - Still regarding safety, there were exposed nails in a cupboard in front of the bed which are extremely dangerous. - Cleanliness is rather questionable. We found a dirty sock under the bed. - Even though we didn't opt for that, the buffet breakfast is pretty expensive (12 €/person)

Exceptional

Extremely clean. Very polite stuff. Nice hotel near the old city of Porvoo. There is common living room,kitchen and dining room. Always someone in the reception. Big free parking space.

The style of the hotel is old fashioned, but this didn't bother us!

Excellent value for your money

The hotel is located in an old hospital and it surely has an unique atmosphere. Super clean, pleasant staff and clear check-in instructions. Our room had everything that we needed. I'm not lactose intollerant, but I liked that the place thinks with its breakfast options also about people like that.

Only twin bed and no double bed rooms for 2 people. Leaking toilet shower.

The hotel is nice, fairly simple but has everything you need.

The rooms are nice and clean, fairly large. WiFi connection worked quite well, with no issues. The room also had a free instant coffee + tea packets and a kettle ! Friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful breakfast ! There is also a sauna and public room with microwave, kettle and fridge, free to use !

The location is quite a bit away from Porvoo, so you need to walk, but considering the beautiful Porvoo and surroundings, it's a joy. I also was quite confused about check-in process, as the door was closed when I've arrived thankfully someone opened that for me in a few minutes.

The room was exceptionally clean.

This was the first hotel in my life with no WIFI. There is no reception working if you arrive late. And, hence, no information about WIFI access - not in the room, not in messages, not at reception place, Very negative surprise!!

A very easy check-in procedure. The stuff is responsive to guest preferences and wishes. The breakfast was nice 🙂, location is 👍

The sauna to be prebooked. We were lucky to have a 50 min time slot, otherwise there was no time available. The bathroom in the room was not closed purely.

Not walking distance but 10 mins by car to the city center. Staff is very kind and helped me to enter outside of the reception hours.

When you come in you are in a hospital structure that in my undrstanding has been refurbished. The rooms and environments should be renewed as well as the bathroom (the door was a sliding door - even not fully working).

The hotel itself is very good value for its price, the room is okay, there's a free parking outside and the place itself is very quiet.

Location is somewhat remote from the city center and if you're traveling without a car or taxi the route is a bit complicated.

Good value for money if you are on a budget

- Good value for money, especially after I got a double bed (2 beds pushed together), instead of a single - Not fancy, but efficient - Nice staff

- Too far away from the city centre - No shops in the immediate vicinity - too far from the nearest bus stop on foot (I had a difficult time getting my heavy suitcase to the hotel, especially as I had to go through a long path without asphalt)
