Auberge de jeunesse confortable et décorée avec goût

Propreté, chambre spacieuse, décoration, bien situé

Le petit-déjeuner un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Les toilettes, deux cabines seulement et dont l'une mixte (homme/femme) l'autre pour les personnes non genrées. J'aurais bien aimé des cabines distinctes pour hommes et femmes.

Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind nett eingerichtet.

- keine Hilfe bei übergriffigen Gästen - Ungeziefer im Zimmer - Duschen nicht abschließbar - nicht sicher für Frauen Die Zimmer sind "funktionell" eingerichtet, also recht lieblos, es gibt nur das Allernötigste an Möbeln, eine dünne Decke u. ein kleines Kissen, die Matratzen sind extrem durchgelegen.Die Bezeichnungen der Sanitärräume (Männer, Frauen, genderneutral, Flinta...) suggerieren ein weltoffenes, feministisches Bild, das sich leider nicht bestätigt. Das FLINTA-Bad hat 4 Duschkabinen,die nicht einzeln abschließbar sind,sie haben nur einen Vorhang.Somit muss man sich darauf verlassen, dass niemand einfach rein kommt, da man die Haupttür natürlich auch nicht verschließen kann (was auch keinen Sinn machen würde, wenn bei 4 vorhandenen Duschen immer nur eine zur selben Zeit nutzbar wäre).Nicht nur, dass die Duschkabinen nicht abschließbar sind,die Haupttür lässt sich überhaupt nicht schließen u. steht immer einen Spalt offen. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt gab es auf dem Flur eine Gruppe betrunkener Männer,die sehr laut waren (Türenschlagen, Grölen, laute Musik).Als ich mich bei ihnen über den Lärm beschwerte, stellten sie sich zu 4. bedrohlich vor mir auf u. sagten mir anzüglich,ich solle freundlicher darum bitten. Ich rief die Notfallnr. an,woraufhin der Betreiber zwar sofort kam,das Problem aber nicht in den Griff bekam,sondern sich selbst noch Schläge androhen ließ von einem Gast,ohne Konsequenzen zu ziehen.Nach meiner Beschwerde begann die Gruppe mehrfach gegen meine Wand zu schlagen u. Hure herüberzurufen.Ich hatte die ganze Nacht Angst u. habe mich absolut nicht sicher dort gefühlt. Auf einen 2. Anruf reagierte der Betreiber genervt,kam nicht nochmal. Als ich das am nächsten Tag mein Geld zurückverlangte,unterstellte er mir Lügen,meinte meine Anschuldigungen seien "ein starkes Stück",es käme ja öfter mal vor, dass sowas behauptet wird u.

虽然是八人间，但是房间空间很大。厨房也很大，可以喝热水，茶，咖啡。卫生间和淋浴很多，够用。

床单被套上有洞，比较破旧。上下铺，翻身床会咯吱咯吱叫。

Nice budget option very close to main station

Very conveniently located about 5 minutes walk away from main station on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building seemingly housing multiple businesses. During check-in you get a small electronic key (looks like a button cell) on a lanyard that opens your room as well as the main entrance which gets locked in the evening. As expected for a hostel the comfort is limited but all facilities are well maintained and clean. There are multiple toilets per floor and the (lockable) showers have small cabins in front where you can leave your clothes. The kitchen provides everything for basic cooking and there's a shared fridge. Each room has lockers for your personal belongings. You need to bring a padlock yourself (not too small or it won't work – see picture) or get one from the reception for a deposit of 5 Euro. The staff is very friendly and helpful, in general.

The breakfast is rather basic and could offer more variety, especially if you stay for more than a few days. The rolls are fresh and very good, though. Your sleeping quality depends a lot on the others sharing your room but that's not the hostels responsibility. They do provide earplugs if you forgot to bring some of your own :-)

Good location, clean bed, very near to the main station, Good report price/quality, a good place to pass the night while enjoying the old city of Heidelberg by 15 minutes ride by bus, nice helpful staff,

Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly and happy to arrange a special request regarding the luggage storage. Thanks! Kitchen and rooms are clean, showers could be a little cleaner. Other than that, great location, great people, great facilities. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, clean, close to the Hauptbahnhof.

Staff was super friendly, bedding was cozy, mattresses were comfortable. Everything was clean, bright and inviting.The building has a really cool history it used to be a tobacco factory.

Good

Near to Flix bus and train station, very professional receptionist lady, access to level 3 Elevator/stairs. Wide kitchen with full facilities, easy to cook. Clean and tidy shower rooms and rest rooms .

There is no AC , so I can’t sleep until 2:00 pm

Fine staff. Great location, especially since I needed to catch an early morning Flixbus. Room was very large and had only regular beds, no bunks! Elevator worked well. ( I had heavy luggage.)

Breakfast was ok for 8€ but nothing special. Sounds trivial, but the flat sheets we are given to make up our beds are too narrow for these beds ..

Really good, I met some great people there!

Very nice place with good social areas. Super big room and ample space in the lockers for everything. Showers were a little dirty but it was manageable.

Locations is right next to the train station which is convenient but it is a little far away from the old town

My stay was really good and comfortable after my daily stressful lectures.

I enjoyed every bit of my stay in the Hostel. It was lovely. Most importantly being that it was very close to the Bahnhorf and also Heidelberg university were I had my training. Thanks

I was wondering maybe it would have been nice if my bed had a lamp also attached to it. This I needed to read at my corner in the night. Thanks

The behavior of the staff on duty. Her name is Anika and she is excellent in customer relations. Every hotel should get staff like her. Also good was Alena.

Clean and quiet hostel

The hostel was very nice and clean. We had a room with 4 beds and there was actually plenty of space in the room. Other hostels would put at least couple of bunk beds more in such a room, but in Steffis Hostel they decided do give you more comfort. There is a spacious kitchen for all with all the necessary stuff in it, and a social room where you can meet other people. It was not a party-hostel, so it was pretty quiet, which we really appreciated.

It is located a bit far away from Heidelberg old town, so be prepared to walk about 20 minutes. However the train station is just 5 Minutes away.
