Fabulous villa in a nice part of Crete.

Beautiful villa in a wonderful location.We spent hours just gazing out over Souda Bay and the sunsets were magnificent. The villa is spacious , very comfortable and well equiped.The pool is lovely and was the perfect temperature . The immediate location is very quiet but there are some good tavernas just a few minutes walk away. 20 minutes walk down the hill brings you to Almyrida with several restaurants overlooking the water. Michalas was very responsive and was there to welcome us and also to say goodbye when we checked out. He also organised taxis for us to the airport. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Exceptional place!

Exceptional place! Breathtaking view from almost any place in the villa and outside! Very clean and nicely decorated house, well equipped kitchen , great swimming pool and the garden. The hosts were very friendly and super helpful ! the nearby village where you can find a small supermarket and a choice of nice local restaurants is just 5 minutes walk from the villa . To get to the nearby beach requires a 15 -20 min walk or a short drive by car.

Fabulous villa, would definately return

Smart, great views, very clean and spacious, great pool. good access to local facilities whilst being in a quiet setting.

DVD player didn’t connect to new TV. however internet connected TV with Netflix etc compensated

More than we wished for!

The villa was much more beautiful than the we tought, and the view n the ocean was breathtaking. All we needed for during our stay was in place. There's a couple of mini markets a short 10 minute walk away. Michalis (the property manager) was there to great us on our arrival, give us some advices on places to go and eat as well say goodby on our departure. We have nothing than good things to say about our experience!

Michalis and his wife were great host. Very helpful and helped us with some shopping since we arrived late the first day. The place lives up to the pictures and the location is great. Our kids loved the place as well and we will return for sure

exceeded our expectations

Well I am not normally one for giving reviews, probably because as my wife will tell you I'm pretty hard to please, but my family and I have just returned from 10 days staying at Hectoras villa and had the best time so I felt compelled to share our experience. The villa is just as good as it looks in the photographs, and ticks so many boxes for us location wise. short walking distance 5-10mins into the village of Plaka, which has a quaint square with a good selection of restaurants/cafes and a really good supermarket. The local beach/restaurants in Almyrida is a longer 15min walk downhill and we had a hire car so drove mostly in the day with all the beach gear, but walked down in the evening and booked a taxi back up the hill. The photos speak for the villa itself, views are amazing, pool is clean and warm, interior is spacious, luxurious and well maintained. But what the photos wont tell you is the efforts made by the local property manager Michalis both before and during our stay. Nothing was to much trouble, from organising our local hire, stocking the fridge for us, meeting us on arrival at the villa, providing details of all the best local shops and places to see etc. With all the stress before we left the UK with the Covid situation it was a blessing to have Michalis on hand locally to make our holiday one to remember.

Fantastic Villa, Beautiful Views!!

Fabulous place to relax!! Really liked the view over the bay, fantastic pool area, and lovely villa. We were there for 7 nights. There was a fresh fruit and bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. The villa had all amenities and utensils that you could need during your stay: all kitchen equipment, towels etc all provided. Villa is located in the village, but there is a shop nearby and family taverns with great traditional food about 6 min walking. The host is very nice person and he helped us with all we needed. Thank you Michalis! It was great time for our family. We hope to return next year.
