Un petit hôtel propre et très bien situé, mais qui n'offre pas grand-chose de plus que cela

L'emplacement de cet hôtel, à deux pas de l'Acropole et du quartier de Plaka, est son gros point fort... Les autres atouts de cet hôtel étaient la propreté et la qualité du lit (qui a contribué à la qualité de notre sommeil, même si les intenses activités de ces journées de visites ont aussi dû y être pour quelque chose)

WiFi exécrable (1/5) + insonorisation inexistante + chaînes de TV presque exclusivement grecques (on n'a heureusement pas eu le temps d'allumer la TV) + balcon minuscule orienté vers le sud (petite ruelle très fréquentée et donc bruyante) + petit-déjeuner correct mais sans plus (heureusement, il était possible de demander des oeufs à la poêle avec du bacon et du jus d'orange pressé, mais uniquement sur demande, et le dernier jour nous avons dû attendre 15 minutes pour avoir nos jus d'orange pressés, parce que la dame en charge du petit-déjeuner n'avait pas compris ma demande + demande pour notre transport à l'aéroport qui n'a pas été traitée correctement (la voiture qui devait nous attendre à 10:45 devant notre hôtel n'étant toujours pas arrivée à 11:00, le service de l'hôtel a fini par nous faire entrer dans un taxi qui passait par lé, et qui nous a facturé 45 Euros, alors qu'à l'aller, une limousine nous attendait à notre arrivée à l'aéroport et nous a déposé devant l'hôtel pour 35 Euros seulement)

A great place to stay to see the famous sites!

The location is excellent! Walking distance to many famous archeological sites, close to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was custom made and delicious. Complimentary wine was enjoyed on rooftop terrace with view of Acropolis! Any concerns with room were immediately addressed.

Our mini refrigerator wasn’t very cool. A minor inconvenience.

Not good breakfast. Noise isolation between room and between rooms and the street (windows and doors are old).

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room , everything was perfect will definitely stay again

I believe hotel lacks a restaurant area and breakfast area is outdoor which I believe in bas weather it doesn't help ( maybe there's another area I may have missed)

Superb

The hotel was centrally located to every place we wanted to visit and very close to shopping. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. We loved the rooftop and views of the Acropolis.

There was a bit of a hazard at the stairs on the first floor. If one is not careful in watching their step they may fall in the area where there's no railing.

great location, middle of Old Town, 10 mins walk to Akropolis. Big, comfort room with large bathroom

Awesome. Rooftop terrace with Acropolis view in their sister hotel across the street. Nice staff.

Breakfast was excellent with a choice of Greek Omelet, French Toast, or Fried Eggs with sausage or bacon. Great staff. Very helpful in the check in and out process. Arranged transfer to airport which was excellent and timely. Excellent location in the heart of the Plaka near the Hadrian Arch. Very considerate and concerned in processing a credit for our pre-authorization. Room and shower was clean, modern, and well appointed. Nice balcony with partial Acropolis view.

Overall very good & set the right tone to a great trip across Greece.

Breakfast options were great. Staff was extremely courteous & willing to go out of their way to help. Room size was great. Location is outstanding.

A couple of power points next to kettle & on study table would have been good. Rest everything was great.

Atmospheric hotel in attractive area of Athens, close to the Parthenon entrance.

The location in the Plaka so near the Parthenon and near Arch of Hadrian is wonderful. Hotel is in a beautiful, historic building. The breakfast was made to order and exceptional. The area is peaceful and near walking streets, which is agreeable.

The hotel is a bit hard to locate. I saw the street name spelled two ways in translation from Greek.

1. The reception desk is in other hotel (home and poetry), just opposite to the plaka arch suite. We had a confusion during check in as there is no written direction. 2. I had to wait for 1.5hr. after arrival to get our room inspite of informing earlier about our arrival time.

very accommodating owners, close to shopping and the Acropolis. Plaka is very safe and has kept its old unique charm.

the owner/managers were extremely helpful with directions as we were not familiar with the area. we arrived late and they quickly accommodated us.

the 3rd floor steps were a bit much, however, the owners carried our bags up for us- thank goodness!

Great host, clean room and nice shower. Location is perfect, you can walk to all the hotspots and it is in the middle of the cosy Plaka. We could check in a bit earlier and with a little extra payment it was also possible to arrange a late check out.

A breakfast to come back to

This is a hotel to come back to. The location is superb, everything is walking distance and the views are breathtaking. But the best thing of all is the breakfast. There is a buffet, but the hot-plate menu is the most amazing thing. You get to choose between several dishes, including french toast and scrambled eggs. Oh and by the way; you get your breakfast with a view of the acropolis. An amazing way to start the day.

As mentioned before: the noise. The building is a lovely authentic, historic house. Which means the doors and windows are giving you the feeling someone is honking their car right next to you. And next to that the check-in process could be streamlined by one simpel thing: put a check-in instruction on the door (and/or send it beforehand). There is no way to know where to check in and on the door it only says: 'in case of emergency call...'.

Happy and spoiled couple♥️

We loved everything from a very welcoming check in, amazing breakfast with a breathtaking views of Acropolis, private and cozy balcony,best location with many restaurants and coffee places close by and I could go on and on…The staff is so warm,friendly and helpful,they make you feel like family. This was one of our best getaways in a long time and we would love to THANK YOU!!!!❤️
