Wij hadden de groene kamer en deze had aan twee zijden uitzicht op het meer, erg mooi! Daarnaast hebben we veel gebruik gemaakt van het dakterras om van het zonnetje te genieten. Het ontbijt was super en we werden heel erg vriendelijk ontvangen.

Nice meeting with oolala host jitu and lovely, Nice location, nice decorative house, homemade breakfast, room was pure homely, view was amazing still in my mind, shower pressure was perfect. Silence air conditioner. Sleep good. Highly recommend.

Excellent guest house by the lake. Great views from each room to see the lakes, perfect for sunset. They have a nice rooftop as well with view over Udaipur. Close to everything. The family who runs it are super kind and helpful. They gave us a lot of useful tips and provided a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at this place. The view of the lake is magnificent! Beautiful setting. Was here for work, I would love to come back as it is quite romantic on the balcony overlooking the lake.
Meals were well prepared. It’s a short walk into town and the town is also spectacular. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Completely fantastic experience. Specifically Thanks to host.

The hosts gave a lovely welcome (in fact, very clear instructions and whatsapping us while we were on our way) and farewell too. The location was wonderful, with views of lake, Monsoon Palace and full of birds. You could walk to a lot of local attractions. Watching sunset from the rooftop is as good as many other places. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and hearty.

Very warmly welcomed by Lovely and Jitu, and offered a list of the must-do sights and activities - majority of which are very nearby as its very well located.
All the rooms in the lake house have a great view over the water, including the blue room which was a very good size. The rooftop is a nice quiet spot to do some reading and watch the sunset.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All homemade and a range of different Indian dishes, should you not want to opt for an omelette.
All in all a great spot and many thanks to our gracious hosts!

So many things…The staff, location, property, everything was great. we were made to feel like family. woke up every morning to a fresh breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. If you are going to Udaipur you won’t be disappointed in Oolala.

We found everything here more than what we expected, when you are in Udaipur and you get a chance to stay here, you are very lucky, the hospitality here is excellent.we had a best food here in India. Highly recommended this place. Go for it.

Such an amazing guesthouse - the owners will do their outmost for your comfortable and enjoyable stay. From communication, to little details in the room and helping you plan your stay. I also strongly recommend to try the Indian breakfast, you won’t regret it!
I wish I could stay a couple of days more but my schedule did not allow me to extend my stay - another reason to come back!

Every bit of our stay was worth it. And the accommodation was an icing on the cake. The owners, Jitu and Lovely are truly delightful, hospitable and very generous. They provided us with some amazing recommendations during our visit. We assure you that your stay will be magnificent, considering the location of the accommodation, food for breakfast and most importantly with regards to the hospitality you'd wish to experience in the city.

We had a wonderful stay at oolala. This is a place you can really feel the culture of India. Set overlooking the lake and within a local setting. Everyone is so welcoming it feels like home. Views were amazing so was breakfast. We were contacted before we arrived and organised despite coming on 7 30am train. Provided so much help and information about travelling and touring around Udaipur. We highly recommend this place as you have 5 star accomodation at quarter the price

Great location. Incredible view with windows on two sides overlooking the lake, as well as a small balcony. True thoughtfulness & absolute attention to details that make travel easier: phone charging plugs by the bed; a large closet with hangers; pull out clothes drying lines in the large shower; quick hot water; a tea kettle; hair dryer; double bidet; complete toiletries; devoted wireless on each floor; and a great included breakfast, cooked by the host, featuring both continental and Indian cuisines. All of this reflects the care & commitment to excellence of the owners, Lovely & Gitu, They were lovingly relentless in attending to our needs, answering questions, recommending activities, helping me track down a needed medication, and arranging transportation. Every host invites us to see them as family, but here they truly treated us this way. If you are going to Udaipur, absolutely make a point of booking here.

While coming towards Udaipur from Jodhpur, we had booked this place for our accommodation, in fact, if you are looking for your accommodation in Udaipur, then you have many options, but the first place we got was Olala, we were very lucky.
Manish who is Olalal's caretaker was already present on the main road to pick up our bags and us which was really a surprise for us.
After this, as soon as we entered Olala, Oolala's hosts Jeetu and Lovely were present to welcome us, they welcomed us to a family which was very beautiful, they explained the sightseeing of Udaipur to us, some snacks and masala chai Offers That Are Very Appreciable.
The room was decorated with a very beautiful heart, all the things needed to be furnished in the room, talk about the view that there was a beautiful lake and mountain view outside the window, breakfast was like a complete lunch, everything was served in a plate.
We will definitely come back here next time.

Amazing hosts , they helped us out for everything. We arrived late at night and we had someone waiting in the main street to help us out. They helped us with sightseeing list of the city and booking day tours.

The view from the corner green room windows and balcony is spectacular. Right on the water. Lovely's breakfast is the best we've had in India. And Jitu's hospitality (and caretaker Manish's helpfulness) seal the deal. Excellent, all the way around.

We had a wonderful time at Oolala's.
The guesthouse has a perfect location in the center of Udaipur, is very peaceful, and has a great view of the lake.
The owners are extremely careful, and welcoming. They helped us for booking train tickets, and were always available for any questions.
The breakfast is amazing, home-made, and generous.
We definitely recommend this place !!

Lovely is a very lovely person like her name. At our arrival she took all the time to inform us about Udaipur and we could feel the passion she has for running this place.
The room is very spacious, decorated very beautiful and was clean. From the balcony we had a nice view over the lake. We had homemade Indian breakfast and we loved it. We also met Lovely’s husband. Also very kind and helpful in every way.

The Oolala was, hands-down, our favourite stay on our recent trip to India. This homestay is perfectly situated close to all the sights of Udaipur as well as great restaurants, but without the feeling of being in a tourist zone. The house, built in 1942, is beautiful and comfortable and has been updated in a way that allows its authenticity and charm to shine through. If you can opt for the beautifully-appointed Green Room it has amazing views from the balcony and is definitely worth the cost. The hosts, Lovely and Jitu, are charming, kind, helpful and humble people who welcome their guests like family. Don't be afraid to ask them for restaurant suggestions as they really know their food. The homemade breakfast was delicious and perfect before a day of sightseeing. Manish, the caretaker, is a friendly, polite and helpful man who cannot do enough to ensure your stay is comfortable. Our stay at the Oolala was perfect in every respect and we can't wait to return. :)

Rich indian tasty breakfast. Amazing rooms with first line to the lake and above all these - Jitu and Lovley are by far the best hosts I have ever met in my life. They do everything with love and care, passion and a big smile.
