Perfect host, excellent breakfast, very clean and comfortable bed, extra touches, homemade scones and bread rolls at breakfast, lovely views from windows

Only downside is walk back uphill to guest house from town, but taxi not to expensive

Perfect B & B for us!

Sarah gave us delicious cakes when we arrived and her breakfast was fab! Extremely comfortable bed and the location was exactly what we wanted.Would highly recommend and would happily stay there again.

Excellent breakfast. Homemade bread rolls. Really welcoming host Homemade biscuits on arrival and homemade cake when we came in after walking. Great location above Keswick easy walk down hill for an evening meal and taxi back if you don’t want to walk back just £4 Best B and B we’ve ever been to

Everything was great and loved my stay there. I checked in at around 6pm completely knackered after hiking all day when there was a knock on my door..It was John who asked me if I wanted a cup of tea😊Perfect...Breakfast was top draw too made by Sarah.😊

Very comfortable room with fantastic breakfast

Gorgeous guesthouse/b&b. Lovely spacious room with ensuite. Small couch in room which was great to have somewhere to sit. The views from the room were fantastic.... Grisedale pike and surrounding fells that I'd waked thar day. Also Skiddaw to the side window. Breakfast was wonderful.... huge but wonderful and I didn't have any fruit, cereal or porridge. Toiletries in bathroom and plenty towels.

The only fault was finding the place but turns out the sign had ben taken down for cleaning and the main road is noisy until late with cars whizzing by but nothing that they can do about that.

Location was perfect, delicious food we were made to feel very welcome

The host at claremont house went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, homemade cakes and cups of tea and coffee were given upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with the host even making homemade bread buns(which were delicious) i stayed with my two children aged 16 and 14 and we would definitely choose claremont House for a future trip to keswickx

Breakfast was excellent, a very good portion and high standard daily. Sarah went out of her way for my daughter to provide breakfast and extra treats as she is gluten free. Appreciated

most definitely the host from the moment we stepped out the car Sarah was warm friendly and welcoming and the freshly cooked warm lemon shortbread on arrival was just delicious, bed was comfortable and breakfast was perfect.

Clean and comfortable accommodation with attentive host.

Host: Sarah was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast: Generous home cooked breakfast. Parking: Was great having on-site parking.

Room provided was a bit small for a travelling couple with large suitcases. Host was able to provide a bigger room for the last night of our stay.

Excellent, immaculately clean room. Everything we could have asked for from a B&B for our stay.

Sarah is a fantastic host and made us feel welcome from arrival to departure. Struggled to finish the excellent breakfast which kept me going all day.
