About this house rental

The Pinecone House has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, open concept kitchen, private driveway, fenced in backyard, viewing deck, gardens and more. The house is perfect for a solo traveler or friends and family on vacation. Located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood blocks from Indiana University and across the street from Bryan Park. You can walk or take a short Uber ride anywhere in the heart of it all. You have easy access to the shops and amenities downtown and the eastside of town as well. Each bedroom is full of natural light and has a luxury queen pillow top mattress, quality sheets, pillows and blankets. The kitchen is equipped with appliances and all the necessary dinnerware, silverware, stemware and cookware. We stock freshly ground, locally roasted coffee from Brown County Coffee for your enjoyment. The backyard provides additional gathering space with outdoor chairs and a gazebo. It is a quaint paradise, enjoy the native gardens, mature trees and the pinecones. If you just want to chill out on the couch or in bed, enjoy TV or read a book, we have free Wifi as well. If the weather is nice, open the windows and enjoy the breeze, but if not, the house has central heating and cooling for your needs.
** As a reminder, we do not allow gatherings or parties, this is the quiet side of campus and we request a considerate noise level.

Great location a short walk from campus, Kirkwood and downtown Bloomington. Well appointed and had everything we needed. Host, Samantha, was amazing and responsive. Easy check in and check out with easy and clear instructions. Will definitely be back when we visit our daughter again.

Property could not be in a better location. Great little neighborhood and close to Inkwell Bakery. Quiet. Beds were clean and bathroom was well stocked with clean towels and toiletries. Would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. The home was clean and inviting. It's in a nice, walkable neighborhood. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals. Unlike some places I have stayed, the owner provided plenty of supplies such as bath towels, paper towels and toilet paper. I highly recommend this property.

We were very pleased with this house. The pictures are a true representation of what we experienced. I am guessing that this house was recently renovated as all of the paintwork and furnishings seemed new. Everything was very clean. Nice new towels and plenty of them. There is no picture of the bathroom in the description but it is also nice and clean and lots of places to put your stuff which I like. Communication with the manager was very good and prompt. The location was very convenient to IU. I would recommend this house for visitors to Bloomington.

What a cute home! We enjoyed our stay in this extremely clean home! The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk or drive to the university. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the house had all of the necessities. We even tried a few suggested places (Lennie's!!) listed on a note in the house, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We'll definitely be staying here again when visiting our college student!

I really enjoyed Samantha’s home in a great neighborhood while visiting my son at IU. I was there solo and the house was perfect for me and was super close to the university, grocery and great restaurants. Also enjoyed relaxing on the front patio on a beautiful fall day. I did have a prob locating the address in the dark since the home sits behind a line of shrubbery -- G0ogL3 maps actually pinpointed it for me - don’t use wa_ze.
