Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would book again if in the area.

Bernard (the host) does a superb breakfast and he also accommodated my request for packed lunches. Nothing too much trouble for him and very chatty; made me feel very welcome. Room had all the basics you could ever need, including a fridge. The property is in a really nice location with a selection of pubs nearby, and is situated close to the M42. Off-road parking is a bonus, too.

If I was to be picky, the curtains weren't quite wide enough for the window in the room when they're shut. Also, I would've preferred a bath to a shower but that's just personal preference.

Excellent, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Bernard, the proprietor, was excellent. He provided each of us with a lift to the local pub (three separate journeys) on the first day. He was very hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Dead fly's on the floor,strong smell of chemicals, asked for fan because it was hot,the answer was open the window,the outside temperature was higher than than inside,could not sleep at all because of that.internet so bad,in advertise excellent,

A lovely place just like home. Bernard is a very nice and friendly host, with a huge sense of humor. The rooms are confortable and nice.

Amazing propery and owners.

Down to Earth owners who go above and beyond. I had my case carried up and fresh milk for tea...even a bottle of water in the fridge. The room was airy which was welcome after a long day at work. Room was a sufficient size Breakfast was really good and a large selection. The property does evening meals at an extra charge. I will definatley stay again

Little short of a deliberate rip off.

We booked a deluxe double with view of the garden. We were placed in a tiny attic room that you can’t really see in the pics which outdated, like staying with your granny. Smelt of old air freshener. We needed to leave couldn’t stay there. Wife gave the keys back to be met grumpy chap who was abrupt and rude. Steer clear.

Freshness. Truthful pictures and delivery on rooms offered. Fresh air rather air freshening devices. Less rude and cocky behaviour from host. So grim we just got out of there rather than try and discuss a refund for 2 night stay.

Felt right at home

Bernard was an amazing host. He recommended us what places to visit, prepared great breakfasts and an amazing special English dinner just for us. He sorted out umbrellas for us and scale to weigh our bags. It was an absolute pleasure. Will come again! 😁👍

Enjoyed my stay.

Queit location in a culdesack with good safe parking in a residential street. Owners freindly and would recomend the food at night(he gives the guests a choise) Sauseges and bacon for breakfast first class

Excellent value, event better owners.

Lovely owners, couldn't have asked for anything to be better. Excellent value for a lovely room and two amazing breakfasts. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

It was a lovely stay, people were friendly and caring! Great breakfast, spot clean room and bathroom, and super comfy bed! I'll definitely recommend it to my colleagues, as it's very close to the office.

Very comfortable, great service.

Bernard and his lovely wife (and Mindy the dog) were excellent hosts and made me feel very comfortable. The whole place had a very homely atmosphere. I was very well looked after.

More space in the bathroom would have been good. And it was a bit too warm for my liking. But these are very minor criticisms.
