About this apartment rental

Apartment la Source d'Aulps offers spacious accommodation for up to 8 people. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite bathrooms, and a light living & dining area. It is located next door to the Nyon telecabine, and only a couple of minutes on the free bus to the centre of Morzine.

Completed in December 2017, Apartment la Source d'Aulps is located in a modern building complete with underground car park, ski lockers and entryphone. It is on the ground floor so benefits from having a huge south facing terrace at the front of the apartment.

The open plan living area also has large windows offering uninterupted views of the mountains and the ski piste coming back to Nyon. Relax in the leather sofas at the end of the day and enjoy the view of the sun setting over the Pleney. The living area is also equipped with a Smart TV, complete with Netflix and French TV channels. There are also a selection of games and a Wifi speaker for music. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need for a self catered holiday including Nespresso machine, juicer and a slow cooker as well as the usual applicances.

At the front of the apartment is the huge south facing terrace, which is a wonderful sun trap in the warmer months. Part of the terrace is under cover, offering a great area for outdoor dining.

The two main bedrooms have been furnished with very comfortable ziplock beds, giving flexibility for groups wanting single beds. Bedroom 3 has a small double bed/large single and Bedroom 4 has bunkbeds. All the bedrooms have plenty of storage space, and the beds will be made up with fluffy duvets, pillows and good quality linen prior to your arrival. The apartment also has 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite shower rooms, and a large family bathroom which is shared by Bedrooms 3 & 4. Three of the bedrooms have double doors opening out onto the sun terrace at the front of the building.

This is a perfect apartment for keen skiers. Jump out of bed and straight onto the lift for first tracks! La Source d’Aulps is located in Nyon, which is on the edge of the village of Morzine. It is a perfect location for keen skiers, as it is literally steps away from the Nyon telecabine giving fast access into the heart of the Morzine/les Gets side of the circuit. For those with lessons on the Pleney slopes in Morzine, the free ski bus stops right outside the apartment. You can also return to the apartment on skis via the home run from Nyon, which stops within 100 metres of the building. It is also only a 15 minute walk into the village. The free bus stops outside the telecabine opposite the apartment. There are also 2 secure underground garages for parking underneath the building.

Please note that there is an exterior surveillance camera on the patio which faces the parking space.

Jo will meet and greet you when you arrive and is always on hand to help with any questions you have for the duration of your stay. The chalet will be spotlessly clean for your arrival, and all beds made up. We also provide all bed linen, towels and the end of stay clean is included in the rental price.

Please note that for all bookings that are confirmed after 1 January 2022, we will not be able to give refunds for bookings cancelled within 1 month of your arrival date due to travel restrictions or from being unable to travel due to someone in your party contracting covid. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THAT WILL COVER YOU AGAINST CANCELLATIONS IN RELATION TO COVID.

From booking, any query we had was answered quickly by Jo, she definitely went above and beyond (we have a son with additional needs and she took the stress out of ensuring he had everything he needed). The apartment was clean, warm, well cared for and in a good location (we enjoyed the walk along the river into town). The buses were regular and stopped only a few meters from the apartment. We would thoroughly recommend staying in the apartment. Thank you Jo!

We had a fantastic stay at the chalet. Perfect location for the Nyon cable car and only a 15 minute walk along the river into Morzine. The chalet was very clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the view from the large terrace which overlooks the mountains. We were met on arrival which meant the check in process was perfect. We hope to return again.

The apartment is in a great location opposite the Nyon telecabin so really easy to access the slopes and return at the end of the day. This has to be the best equipped place that I have stayed in with everything you need for a self catering holiday, with extras such as a slow cooker, hand blender, casserole dish to name a few. Jo was really friendly and helpful and always available at the end of the phone for any queries. A great stay was had by all.

My family and I loved our stay at Jo's chalet. It was bright, airy, clean and fresh and very welcoming for Christmas. The easy bus ride into town was brilliant and it's right by the Nyon Telecabin. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at Jo’s chalet. The bus into Morzine was regular and just outside making it very easy. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen so easy to cook too. Worth remembering to pre book taxis if you go out for dinner in Morzine or walking back to the chalet only takes 25 minutes. The second time we did it we walked along the river which was magical!

this apartment is one of a million. It's the best place to stay, neat Nyon-telecabine. We've had a perfect vacation and will come back for sure. Everything was perfect, the beds, the kitchen, the showers..........it couldn't be beter!

Modern warm apartment with everything you could need, 3 huge bathrooms, all the mod cons. Quiet location with views of the mountain, bus stop outside the door and then 6 minutes to Pleney or 6 second walk to Nyon telecabin and straight on the slopes! Spotlessly clean. Jo was waiting to let us in at a time that suited us. We'll be back!

We had a lovely week staying at this apartment in Morzine. The apartment is very clean and spacious and very well located for the Nyon Téléphérique- although this was closed during our stay. The accommodation was ideal for us as we had two young children as well as 6 adults. It is perfect for a family holiday.

Absolute loved staying at the chalet with my wife and teenage kids. We were on a mountain bike holiday and loved the space, comfort and facilities offered. Whilst a car was an advantage to get into Morzine to shop, a lovely walk by the river was also a good option and took around 15 mins when just heading in for a bimble. Best of all was the balcony... a perfect sun trap after a day’s riding or simply to chill out on with cracking views of the mountains (my son broke his arm on day 3 so we had plenty of time in the chalet). The facilities were great with Netflix on offer to entertain during downtime, excellent WiFi or, as mentioned, a spacious balcony bigger than some apartments I’ve stayed at in previous years in the French Alps! The space also applied to the bedrooms with 3 large doubles (2 en-suite) and a smaller room with bunk beds. Easy parking either outside the chalet or in a secure, double underground garage completed the set up. I would highly recommend if you enjoy comfort, space, facilities and beautiful views on a stunning balcony. Tony

this very well equipped appartement was beautiful and the nicest apartment i've ever been in. I fully recommend this apartment which is suitable for friends and family's. It's direct near the telecabine and if we have had good weather the holiday would be perfect. We give the apartment a fat 10!!!

Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! En perfect voor familievakantie met skiërs van elk niveau. Rustige ligging met de lift op 10 stappen. Dalafdaling tot vlak aan het huisje. Garage en veel parkeermogelijkheden vlakbij de chalet.

Had a great week with 2 families of 4, might be a squeeze with teenagers but a fantastic place for our party with 4 kids under 11. Great terrace and views, and perhaps the closest to a lift you can be. Would definately stay again. We drove which was handy as no facilities in Nyon itself but it’s on the bus route which takes only 5 mins - bus stop outside apartment. One of the best kitted out kitchens we have had!

We had a lovely week in this lovely, modern, spacious apartment. Great to wake up and only have to pop next door for the Telepherique. Easy walk into Morzine but probably advisable to get taxi back. Excellent communication from Jo. Ideal for big family or couples with 3 bathrooms and plenty of space.
