Retro gem of a place

I'm so glad I found this place. Stayed for a week while on a course. It really felt like home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, so it's easy to cook properly at home. Lovely retro vibe and lots of quirky additionals, like magazines and design books from the sixties. Very clean, everything worked. Comfortable bed. Quiet part of town at the top of the hill, with an amazing vista out over the town and valley towards Palm Springs. Eric the owner is a lovely guy and super helpful.

Exceptional

Loved the mid-century apartment. It was super clean and comfortable, furnished in mid-century style, including a kitchen with everything we needed. Easy access to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. The pool area was great, too, with mountain views. Dedicated off-street parking right in front of the building. The neighborhood was very quiet.

Exceptional

An impeccable clean and beautiful midcentury oasis. Our daughter and her grandmother spent a wonderful time at The Getaway. Eric welcomed them and was always there to help. They didn’t want to leave. Spacious apartment, decorated with eye for the detail. Nothing was missing

there’s an additional fee to heat pool or jacuzzi, if the weather is hot, it’s not really necessary
