About this house rental

This end-unit townhouse is a 4 season vacation home located on Jack Frost Mountain in Blakeslee, PA. In the winter, guests can carry skis and snowboards down the street and directly onto the slopes of the Jack Frost Ski Resort. A wood pellet stove keeps the house toasty warm (pellets provided), and the hot tub in a solarium with frosted glass makes for the perfect and private après-ski activity.

In the spring, summer, and fall, the screened-in porch is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the electric grill. Multi-zone mini split AC units keep the house cool. Each bedroom has its own unit.

Nearby activities include: the Jack Frost National Golf Course, family activities at Split Rock resort, hiking and lake sports at Hickory Run State Park, as well as numerous places to ride ATVs and horseback., tubing and white water rafting in the summer. There are restaurants with outdoor seating and live music. The local Holy Ghost Distillery has a tasting room for bourbon, rum, vodka, brandy, plus mixology classes and axe throwing!

Two bedrooms and an open loft provide three queen sized beds. There are games, videos, books, and a TV with streaming services. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and our pantry closet includes your basic spices, flour, and sugar. We hope you enjoy a fun and relaxing vacation in our home any time of the year.

Guests must bring own bed sheets and bath towels. Comforters, pillows, blankets, and kitchen towels are provided.

Our family had an amazing time at this beautiful gem of a place! It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and quiet family getaway. Was well furnished with all the supplies we needed. The communication with the owners was impeccable from start to finish. Hands down one of our all time favorite places we've stayed at! Would totally recommend to any of our friends or family!

We visited during the summer and the unit was great. The inside was cool while the outside was hot. Everyplace we wanted to visit was about a 30 minute trip which made this a great central location.

My family stayed here on a long July 4th weekend. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Though there were restaurants nearby, we cooked for almost every meal in the kitchen. Everything we needed was there. We also took the short drive to Hickory Ridge State Park, which was fantastic. Overall we enjoyed the weekend very much.

We wanted a weekend getaway and this was a perfect fit! The check in and check out process was quick and easy! We really appreciated the information binder they had. Quick references with working the stove, tv etc. We appreciated having it as everyone set up and pellet stove works different. The owners were great and very responsive. We will definitely book again. Highly recommended.

This place was amazing!! So clean and close to Jack Frost we were so fortunate we had snow for 2 days!! Very quaint and cozy and the property owners were the best!!

Perfect location for skiers/snowboarders. Quick ride to Jack Frost. Great to be able to drop people off who want to stay on the mountain all day. Easy to go back and forth if needed. Very cozy. Loved the pellet stove. Essentials were available such as trash bags in case you forgot something. Good communication with the owners. Plenty of sleeping areas for parents and teens.

I booked this property for my husband and his friends for a golf trip. He said they had no complaints about anything! The location was close to several courses, pubs and diners. Condo was clean, instructions were easy to follow. Number to condo is not visible on arrival but were provided good instructions by owner. Hot tub is hot and seemed to be well maintained, but jets are so so, but to be expected for smaller hot tub. Would stay again.

Our checkin/out process was seamless. The instructions were detailed and accurate and communication with the owners was available and very friendly. This is a perfect place for skiing in the winter and golfing in warmer weather. The house is inviting and immaculately kept. and the master bedroom is more accommodating than mot high-end hotel suites with the hot-tub (with privacy windows) just a few indoor steps from the bed. The fireplace provides an inviting return from skiing and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals. Highly recommend this place for anything from family vacations to a couple’s getaway!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay on top of Jack Frost mountain in a lovely quiet neighborhood with trails just outside the door for hiking and adventuring. The owners were wonderful and there is so much to do in the area. We recommend visiting and enjoying.

This was absolutely an incredible place to stay! The location is great, the house is amazing and the hosts are the best ever! From time of booking to post check out, they were available for any questions that came up and were incredibly responsive. The house is wonderful and CLEAN. The hot tub was perfect, the amount of cookware available was great. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The instructions for check in/out were clear and easy to follow. Looking forward to another stay in the future! Can’t say thank you enough for having such a lovely place to stay in the beautiful Poconos!

My husband and I stayed 2 weeks for my sons wedding. We couldn’t ask for a better stay! Bob&Dianne were great hosts,easy communication. The house had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable,such a nice breeze with the doors opened. Very quiet and peaceful. We relaxed in the recliners after shopping in Jim Thorpe. The hot tub was such a bonus,So relaxing!
