Private Unterkunft in Vico Equense

Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was man benötigte, es war sauber und für uns zwei recht geräumig.Der Vermieter war stehts da, wenn Fragen waren und wir haben mehrmals in den 14 Tagen von ihm regionale Spezialitäten bekommen. Auch Tipps für gute Restaurants.

Die Unterkunft war sehr weit weg von der Küste, 25 Minuten morgens und abends. Zwischendurch mal hinzufahren wäre zu aufwendig. Und man musste den italienischen Autofahrern schon vertrauen, was manchmal schwer fiel. Da in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Bauernhof war wurden wir von Jauchegestank häufig belästigt, früh morgens davon geweckt, ebenso von den Hunden, die auf dem Grundstück untergebracht wurden, gebellt wurde auch nachts.

Prima dagen doorgebracht in mooie accomodatie met vriendelijke eigenaren

De behulpzaamheid van de eigenaren. We konden het moeilijk vinden via Google Maps, waarschijnlijk verkeerd ingesteld. We verdwaalden volkomen maar de eigenaar kwam ons snel ophalen. Goede service..

A great place to stay for a taste of local life away from the tourist trail.

The property is a large apartment with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and modest kitchen. Enzo and his family were great hosts, despite the language barrier. He was very keen to help out in every way he could and provided us with a regular supply of fresh fruit and vegetables from his garden. If you are not renting a car, it’s a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk to the bus stop. There’s a small friendly shop nearby and a cheesemaker.

The kitchen was a little small but served the purpose for simple meals.

Coming from America and unsure of the land/environment, the owners were SUPER caring and helpful. They offered rude

VERY clean! You get to truly experience the Italian culture here. I highly recommend renting scooters (roughly 40-60 euros per day). It makes it easier to travel up/down the hill. The owners were so nice, and the area is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It is roughly 50 minutes from Positano and roughly 45min it’s from Sorrento. I loved experiencing the Italian culture here, it doesn’t compare to the rest of the “City life” of Italy.

Vico Equense was an amazing place. Though, in order to get to the bnb, you must travel up the hill/mountain. Purchasing a Taxi isn’t ideal, so you either must take a bus (not very efficient) or rent a motor scooter (highly recommend). Additionally, coming from America, the bath tub/shower wasn’t something we were used too. It was just a tub with a shower head handle (no curtains). There is also no dryer (which is most of Europe). I didn’t think it was a big deal at all, I actually found it unique! Otherwise, no complaints at all!

Great stay in quiet spot between locals

B&B Cioffi was just what we needed after a busy day out and about on the busy roads and streets of the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Yes, it's a bit out of the way, but you'll love it if you're an adventurous traveller. We were greeted in Vico Equense by Julio who accompanied us to the apartment on his scooter. After that we dealt with Enzo, the owner, who was quick to respond to requests.
