Really enjoyed the lily pad lodge.
Really enjoyed the lily pad lodge.
Really enjoyed the lily pad lodge. Wonderful location for taking the dogs to the coast and being out the way at the same time for some relaxation. Beds were comfy, sofas were extremely comfy and the hot tub was the perfect temp. A couple of negatives were that the dogs wasn’t allowed upstairs and the TV in the main lounge didn’t have Netflix which I would say is almost a necessity nowadays. There was an option for Netflix on the Blu ray player but would need a 20m Ethernet cable to connect. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Amazing place! Booked to go back in July! A robe or bigger towels for hot tub would make this place perfect for us! (Only minor but worth noting)  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fantastic week at the cottage and our 2 french bulldogs loved the space and walks. The lodge is very spacious and everything is well thought out with no half measures . Everything is quality. The log burner was great and with the underfloor heating you don’t really need it but it looks great to see the fire going with the dogs laid out in front. We loved listening to the owls hooting at dusk and dawn. There was a horse and a donkey in the paddock one morning when we were driving out to go to the coast. I pulled up and they both came running to us when I stopped the car to look. The horse stuck his head over the fence and through my open car window to say hello. Ha. I got some good photos of that and we’ll frame one as a great memory of Lilypad. You want for nothing here and this lodge is a credit to the owners, Lisa and Tom. We were left to enjoy our holiday in complete privacy and we’re going back in May next year. We usually have 4 holidays in cottages each year but if we were just having one, this would be it. The hot tub was great and in May the weather should be good to make the most of this together with the BBQ. The garden is completely enclosed so the dogs can enjoy it with no chance of getting out unless they swim across the pond. All in all, this was one of our favourites and we’ve stayed in some great places. We’ve only been back a couple of days and can’t wait for next May to come around and go back for another fantastic holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
