About this apartment rental

1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment across the driveway from Acorn Timbers House. Beautiful view of lake and access to private pier. Apartment has pool table, stereo, television with Direct TV, and Wi-fi. Bedroom has a king size bed and a twin bed, and futon sofa in living room makes into a double bed. Kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, 2-burner cooktop, coffee maker, electric skillet, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, and utensils. Towels and linens are provided. Gas grill and charcoal grill are provided. You must bring your own charcoal. Complimentary canoe and rowboat are available for your use. Ample room to park your boat.

This is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, located 20 minutes from Jefferson.

We also have Acorn Timbers aframe at the same location available for rental.

Pets are allowed. There is a $40 fee per dog.

Wonderful cozy amazing place! Great for a couple or maybe 3 to 4 people! Great view of the lake! Beautiful area! Will try the A frame house at some piont!

This was a reunion of 2 life long friends that had drifted apart . It was HOT! I know it's not cool in the summer in Texas, but this was crazy heat! Heat index was 109-112. So this place did work great in our favor since we were mainly inside. Played a many a games of pool. (Neither of us are any good, so this was hilarious) The two AC wall units kept it pleasant all day long. Direct TV was plus. The place is very spacious and well kept. Large rooms. All the basics are provided. The view of the lake is amazing! The host are conveniently located right next door so any problems or questions they are right there. They are very friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

Our overall impression of the property was that it is a beautiful place to stay. The owners are kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the pool table in this cozy little apartment . They also had a great fishing pier. Everything we needed for our stay was there. We give it 5 stars and we will be back!

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, then you have found it. The place is claen and comfortable, the hosts are gracious and attentive but stay out of the way, and there is a nice peir to fish off of with pleanty of room to moor your boat. Lake o' The Pines itself is beautiful and chock full of fish, and whille it can be busy at times, it is not overfished like some of the more popular lakes around. Reasonably priced, too! I highly reccoment this place!

We were there to crappie fish. Caught lots of great size crappie. We have stayed here for three years in a row. It’s a great place to stay. Easy access to the lake with a dock. The place has everything you will need and if you need something the hosts are very helpful. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay atthe apartment and we also rented the A-frame house for a weekend trip with our kids and grandkids. The trip was awesome and we loved the lake view. Both properties were clean and had plenty of extra linens and more tan enough towels for our group of 10. Hosts have instructions and tips about all amenities and local attractions clearly posted.We would definitely stay here again

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our fishing getaway on beautiful Lake O The Pines. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the use of the dock so we could tie up our boat just down the hill from the cabin. We will definitely be back.

This listing offers much more than you would ever expect. The hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating. It’s located away from the boat traffic but on a perfect spot on the water. The apartment is spacious and well stocked with basically everything you always forget at home. Once you walk in, you’ll realize that the hosts are nothing less than thoughtful and enjoy providing a place of relaxing retreat. This will become a frequent visit for our family.

This is a great place to stay with some family or friends. The owners are nice and helpful and even provided my family with some bait to help our fishing efforts. The canoe and kayaks were great fun and the building was a perfect place to come back to after a day by the lake.

This is the best place I’ve stayed in that area for fishing Lake of the Pines. Seeing all of the deer in the mornings and afternoon was an added delight. Paul was very helpful and friendly. I look forward to going back for a nice stay and great fishing. TKnight

Great place to stay if your going to fish LOP. Close to the boat ramp, great dock, and host has place to clean fish. Apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you need for a weeks stay. Make the trip to Avinger. Great restaurants and shops.

We went fishing every day on the floating dock and caught fish every day. Take the short drive into Jefferson for good places to eat, shopping, entertainment and museums.

Wonderful, serene property with a paddle boat, canoe or kayak to use on lake. Beautiful night star gazing and sunsets in nature complete with deer, lizards and toads. Hosts were very nice.

The location is is at the end of a long rough road, and at a dead end. There is a circle driveway, but it was too full of cars to be useful.. I had to back out of the dead end with a 24’ pontoon boat. Also, the description said “sleeps 5”.. so I paid for two nights and thought that was it. Afterwards I received a message from the owners telling me that the advertised price that I paid was for two people. To have 5 people you have to pay an additional $10, per person, per night. So, $60 more for 5 people total for two nights.

I was interested in the pier - LOVE to fish!! Beautiful area. Away from the crowds. Super nice owners - they offered their golf cart for carrying our gear to the pier - so accommodating. There’s a paddle boat. And canoes. Cabin kitchen is outfitted very well if you’d like to cook which we did. Grills. Deer nearby. A wonderful place away from it all. Cannot wait to return.
