Je recommande sans hésiter

L’emplacement est parfait au centre de la vieille ville Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres Le petit déjeuner est varié et c est un plaisir de la prendre sur cette magnifique terrasse à l ombre ! Nos enfants de 8 et 5 ans ont adoré ! Et nous aussi 😉

Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps !

L'hôtel est situé à l'intérieur de la ville de Nauplie, à quelques pas des rues commerçantes. Une plage est accessible à moins de 10 mn à pied. Les chambres sont très bien, surtout celles avec vue (...mais plus cher, forcément !). La terrasse est très agréable pour prendre le petit-déjeuner (très bien) et l'accueil impeccable. Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel, où nous avons passé deux nuits... et où nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.

Attention aux escaliers pour atteindre l'hôtel : ça ne nous a pas posé de problèmes mais pour des personnes avec des difficultés de mobilité / des valises lourdes ça peut être compliqué. La voiture doit être garée plus loin, puisque la ville est piétonne (moins de 10 mn à pied).

We had an energizing stay in a breathtaking boutique hotel in the heart of a quiet old world town.

Aethra was just what we needed after two previous nights in an underwhelming AirBnB. Nafplio is a beautiful city, and Aethra is located in the wonderful old town area. The citrus trees growing in the courtyard are a spectacular addition to the view of Nafplio that you have. It is a 3-minute walk to all of the good restaurants and shops, but it is far enough away that it is quiet and interrupted by the foot traffic. Breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We got a separate room for our kids, and they even worked to make sure that we our rooms were next to each other, which gave us some peace of mind.

I’m going to take a negative and turn it into a positive. I’m sure that many people don’t like the fact that you can’t drive your car right up to the door of the hotel to be dropped off. Yes, it is a 5-10 minute walk to wherever you have to park. But not only does this help to ensure the peace and solitude this hotel offers, but it is a unique experience that my family and I would not have traded. We would have packed less, though, which was a good lesson for us.

Όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά! Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία στην παλιά πόλη. Το συγκρότημα πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο. Οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενικοί!

Θα ήταν καλό η ντουζιέρα να είχε ολόκληρο τζαμι κι όχι μισό γιατί το μπάνιο γεμίζει νερά όσο κι αν προσέξεις κατά την διάρκεια του ντουζ. Διαφορετικά η ύπαρξη μιας σφουγγαρίστρας θα βοηθούσε στο μάζεμα των νερών.

Absolutely perfect!

Such a beautiful experience staying here. Our junior suite with a sea view was extremely spacious, very well decorated and equipped with a modern bathroom, safety deposit box, balcony with a view of the town and the sea and two TVs. The location is perfect including a beautiful view from the room/balcony and from the brilliant courtyard where you enjoy your breakfast. The breakfast selection and quality was perfect and extremely tasty. We also loved how friendly and accommodating all of the staff were. We would 100% recommend Aethra Boutique Rooms and would stay here again if/when we return to Nafplio!

It would have been nice to have a full length mirror in the room.

Location was great; Nafplio is an undiscovered gem for American tourists.

The staff, the breakfast and rooms were all great. The staff was incredibly helpful.

We were not fully aware that there were over 100 steps to get from the nearest “road” to the entrance of the hotel. Fortunately a staff person carried the heaviest bags up to the hotel, but we still had to negotiate the steps several times a day. We are in much better shape now!

Enjoyable and friendly staff, clean sheets and towels everyday including breakfast

Location was fantastic central to all, The breakfast was fantastic with freshly made omelette upon request. Coffee was nice and the outdoor roof top sitting area for breakfast had great views. I also like the 360deg views from the roof top, from the sea to the mountain. ( See Photos )

Beautiful experience in the heart of the old town.

Gorgeous surroundings. Peaceful and quiet but right in the middle of the old town. It was 100% luxury for an amazing price. Brilliant value in a totally unique location. Breakfast was great too.

Modern Accommodation in the Heart of an Ancient City

The room was modern and has all required facilities, including a very comfortable bed. The location is also a stone's throw from the centre of Nafplio's old town. The hotel staff and breakfast (with a view) was also wonderful.

There is a BIG set of stairs to get to the hotel, getting up there with luggage was difficult. If you only have a small suitcase, this wouldn't be as much of an issue but with a large one; it's a workout (and for some older people, impossible). Additionally, the shower in the bedroom had a leaky shower head, which sprayed wildly when the water pressure was turned up. This coupled with the fact that there are no shower curtains/doors resulted in a very wet bathroom. I'm sure the hotel staff would have dealt with this immediately if I raised it, but being there one night, I didn't see the need, I just took a low pressure shower.

Like a dream come true!

This hotel is wonderful. I treasure my memories from my stay. My days at Aethra Boutique Rooms are definitely the highlight of my trip to Greece. All the staff are so helpful and kind. A great breakfast to start each day of exploring. The courtyard is a delight, full of well tended flowers, overlooking the city and the sea.

breakfast in the main terrace is very beautiful- rooms are nice

small things : maybe close the shower? put a door? it’s not very convenient to shower as the water goes allover. The head of the shower was also broken. breakfast : presentation of the cut fruit and vegetables could be better

Quiet, clean and comfortable!

Easy to find, great breakfast warm and friendly staff/owner. The room was more than what we expected and a great place for the start exploring the Peloponnese!

Being from another country the heater for the room was a little different. Having written instructions on how to use would probably of saved a call at 10 pm to bug the staff! Not really anything to complain about, just felt bad that we couldn’t figure it out on our own.

Pretty hotel in a great location

Gorgeous views from the front rooms, spacious terrace with tables and chairs under orange and lemon trees, close proximity to the fortress and beach. High up the hill in the old town so quieter than the main strip.

Room really needs bedside lights for reading! It’s too bright and unrelaxing with the moms in ones on. Fridge in room was noisy so we had to unplug it at night

Exquisite attention to detail - thoroughly enjoyable.

Attention to detail was impressive. Owners and staff all charming and went the extra mile. Lovely atmosphere - great views and stylish decor. Cannot wait to return! Wirth paying extra for the better views.

All good but need to be fit to manage steps leading up to property as with many hotels in this cute town.

Great value for money, great for couples and wish we could have stayed longer

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nafplio. It is located on the old town, just a few minutes walk from the restaurants, shops and cafes.

A beautiful place I hope to visit again in the near future.

A great room in a stunningly beautiful location in Nafplio. The breakfast area is especially beautiful, with a view of Nafplio and many trees around. The room is big. The location is very convenient, about 5 minutes away from the beach and the town square.
