Summary:
A quiet comfortable beach house escape on the seaside, ideally located on Glenelg's North Esplanade, a short walk along the beachfront to the Holdfast Shore Precinct. This spacious self contained 3 bedroom home sleeps up to 9 persons. Enjoy marvelous views of the ocean, or watch Netflix on our huge TV from our comfortable leather reclining lounge chairs!
The Space:
Guests can expect a clean beachside home equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances for easy home cooking. Spacious and cosy, 60s character beachside property with comfortable décor and furnishings.
Perfect for a family or as a holiday retreat with friends, this home is ideally positioned to enjoy the proximity to beaches, cafes and restaurants, Marion Swimming centre and a selection of Glenelg's tourist attractions.
On ground level, the space consists of 2 main bedrooms, open plan living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom & a 2 car garage. Large games room/third bedroom upstairs features pool table, lounges and 2 singles beds.
The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking/jogging on the Beach or through the city. You can either relax on the sofa, listen to music or watch TV.

Living area with large leather reclining lounges, 65inch Smart TV with Netflix.
Ducted central cooling throughout, and split system heating in main living area only (but is enough to heat bedrooms on same ground level). Ceiling fans in bedrooms.
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and cooking facilities.
Three bedrooms with comfortable 2x queensize beds, 2x bunk beds and 2x single beds.
Washing Machine and Dryer, with Iron and ironing board.
1 Bathroom has a full size bath and shower. Our hot water never runs out, as it’s a continuous flow system! Towels and Hairdryer supplied.
Grassed front yard area with outdoor seating available and BBQ on the side.
Garage parking for 2 cars and at rear of property there is an addtional Off street carpark. Easy street parking out front.
All linen/Towels supplied for guests. (BYO Beach towels!)

Guest starter pack provided, including 6 toilet rolls, complimentary Tea/Coffee/sugar sachets, mini milk, soap, shampoo/conditioner. *depending on length of stay, guests may need to purchase more of these items*

Access to the property is on site, so you never have to be stuck waiting for someone to let you in, but if you do have any issues at all, we are available 24 hours for any emergencies that may arise.
The Neighborhood:
The location of the house is perfect for those who love to be close to the sand and surf and want to find out what Glenelg has to offer.
Glenelg North is a safe suburb within easy walking distance to the tram, beach, cafes, restaurants, pubs and the "Beachouse “entertainment for the young and old.
While the property offers a tranquil retreat by the sea, it's important to be aware that Glenelg North is in proximity to the airport. Although our property is not directly under the flight path, it is close, and some guests may occasionally hear planes taking off.
Getting Around:
Only a 10 min walk to Jetty Road, Glenelg shopping precinct with shops, cafes, bars, restaurant, fashion and the tram to travel into Adelaide CBD.
The Glenelg Tram on Jetty Road Glenelg takes just 35 minutes to get you to Adelaide city, stopping at Rundle Mall, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Casino and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
10 min drive to the Airport.
The SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre at Oaklands Park is approximately 7km away.
45 min drive to lovely McLaren Vale vineyards and 1 hr drive to Barossa Valley.
Other Things to Note:
***We accept up to 9 persons maximum, however for maximum occupancy this should be made up of adults and children. No more than 6 adults allowed per stay please.**
Please ensure you list the correct amount of persons in your booking requests because this also ensures you get enough linen and towels included for each guest.
The third bedroom is also where the pool table is upstairs. Please note, the stairs to access this room are steep and awkward, and their entry is via the secure garage/storage room only, which is connected to the kitchen at the back of the property. Ideally these beds should be used for older children or young adults.

Location perfect. Quirky house, bathroom a bit tricky with toilet in bathroom (which would be easy to convert to a separate toilet) however overlooking the beach, the view from upstairs, the master bedroom and the kitchen table made up for everything.

Awesome location. Beach and 4mins drive from Glenelg for dinner. House is old but nice enough. 1 bathroom is tricky with 9 guests but you work around it. Would stay there again.

Absolutely recommend staying here.
This place is amazing. There are things to do everywhere!!! And all of it within close walking distance. A heap to do for kids of all ages.
Close to an Adventure Park, minigolf a decent playground, or two, an amusement pk, with waterslides, dodgems, bumper boats, arcade games.
As far as dining, take you pick.
Fish and chips, no worries.
Buffet, yes please, a pub, yep. Ala carte if you feel like that. Steak bar, greek restaurant, seafood.
ITS ALL WITHIN 2 (TWO) KILOMETRES.
Oh, did I mention it's right on the beach.
And a clean beach. Beautiful white sands.

Absolutely loved it
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Open the blinds to watch the ocean literally across the road, and even got to see my first dolphin. Loved the pool table, that gave us lots of fun in our spare time. Location was great with being right near beach and also close by to everything you need. Thank you

Great location, only a short walk to Jetty Road, Glenelg. Very Spacious and had a great time. Sea Views from Lounge /Dining area.

The property is in a great location across the street from a very nice beach and a few blocks from everything in downtown Glenelg. It was clean on arrival and the host was communicative. The property is very dated in the kitchen (stove was barely usable with old disc burners that didn't all work), the pool table room is hard to get up to with some funky steps - only one cue was usable - but made for nice entertainment one night on our stay. There was a brand new, excellent BBQ grill on the porch that was a big help to cooking and an assortment of chairs for sitting outside to watch the sunsets (which are great from that location). The garage was a good benefit when there was an event in town and parking became scarce on the street. The TV set up with Netflix was a nice touch. Overall - the location can't be beat and the host was pleasant to deal with and helpful. Value and price seemed in line.
