This great Caribbean-style vacation rental home with a pool and a hot tub was just recently updated! Located in the prestigious gated community Destiny East, just minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico. This home also comes with a 6 seater golf cart and 4 bikes with helmets, so you can cruise around Destin in style.
As you enter Silver Blessings, you are greeted with a full gourmet kitchen, dining area, and beautifully decorated living room with a TV and DVD player. Walk out the back door, and you will find a 500 square foot patio and back deck with a private pool, hot tub, BBQ grill, and updated outdoor furniture! The private pool can be heated for an additional fee. The first floor also offers a bedroom room with a king size bed and a full bathroom.
The second bedroom is a master suite located upstairs and features a luxurious king-size bed and an adjoined master bathroom with a whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. It also has a lovely sitting area that opens out onto a private covered balcony with quaint rocking chairs! The third bedroom features a king size bed as well and shares an attached bath with the fourth bedroom that offers a two full-sized beds. The fifth room is a bonus bunk bed area that sleeps two, great for the kids! In addition, there is a sofa sleeper in the master bedroom on the second floor. The owners have provided a Roku with every TV to make streaming your favorite movies and TV shows via Netflix, Hulu, and more a breeze! This spacious vacation rental home can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, so you will have more than enough room for the whole family!

We took family on vacation was several of us place was very clean really enjoyed the pool only thing is driveway is small we had 3 vehicles large and got citation on last day but company took care of it overall the place was amazing and will book again

The house was clean and well equipped for all 8 of us! The pool was great and super clean! We had no idea the wonderful location of this neighborhood and the golf cart included in the rental would definitely draw us back to stay again! Just hop on and it’s a two minute ride to the beach!!! Our only complaint is the stacakabke washer dryer unit is very small so we constantly had to do loads and the bath on the main floor is very small and serves as a master and main bath. But those are workable things given all the great features of the house location and managing company. We will definitely be back!

The pool is amazing and it’s so close to the beach! Our family loved this place and would stay again. The rental company was very responsive as well. The only downside is that there wasn’t a high chair for the baby, and a couple of the upstairs mattresses could use replacing. Overall a win!

The house was beautiful and the location was great! We didn’t however get the code to the lock box for the golf cart key until someone came back in the office on Monday. We arrived on Saturday and couldn’t figure out the code and texted Sunday for the code with no response. A few of the TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work. The local good was good. Jacacudas was an amazing place to eat!! We loved McGuire’s!! The restaurant is super cool and the food was great! We enjoyed going to Uncle Bucks fish bowl. Over all we had a great time!

Great vacation spot. The pool was just perfect for our family. Lazy days at the house with the pool and fun packed days at the beach that was close and the golf cart was great to get back and forth. The house size was great for our family of 13. We had one little issue with grill and it was addressed within the hour. Great family vacation

Great place. The pool and bikes were wonderful for the kids. Lots of room for everyone. The golf cart was SO NICE for my older parents. We were able to get them out and take them for a ride late in the afternoon when it wasn’t so hot outside. We will definitely be back next year!!!

Instructions on check in was not sent until we arrived Would have been helpful to have at least a day ahead to print and review. TVs were difficulty to operate. This home is very beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and we liked the sitting area in the living room. For future renters of this property, this is for you
How do I start, well we were told only 2 cars, we contacted 3 times to make sure because we never got a straight answer… the driveway is small, so maybe 3 small cars, but anything bigger you can only fit 2. They will CHARGE a fee for everything (you see once you’ve checked in)
Upon arrival we were pleased with the home, but then we got a look, the couches have covers which are stained horribly, one of our couches had a king flat sheet covering the couch cover (I have pictures and contacted them about that and the broken fridge, nothing was done so I just made a list for my review)
The kitchen is huge but lacks major things you might need should you decide to not eat out on your vacation to save money, the items there are cheap and don’t work, the blender is broken, so bring one.
The beds were comfortable, but lacked simple things like a end table between the two double beds (you have nothing to place water or a phone on) same with the room with the bunks, a small TV mounted to the wall would be nice too since that room is aimed for kids.
The pool area was lovely, just needs more shade to be enjoyable for the afternoon days.
The TV in the living room glitches bad, and the two recliner chairs next to the couches are as equally stained (I have pictures of them too) I would be embarrassed to rent that place with theses furnishings for the nearly 7000$ I paid for June 18-25…… the neighborhood is amazing but the inside of this home does not match the neighborhood or the amount charged.
If Glass Casa spent a bit of all the earnings they are racking in and updated the very neglected things in this home it would be worth the cost.

Small effort away from a 5 star
House was clean. Staff friendly, Pool in good order.
1. Description was barely accurate. This house includes no kitchen sundry item support (I.e. no salt, no pepper, no non-perishable basics). Given the price point, this is a mismatch with expectations. Small amount per week probably solves this.
2. In the upstairs bunk bed bedroom, suggest putting shelving or something in the hallway in the otherwise bare bedroom. Where would the kids in that room put their items besides the luggage? Small investment of furniture solves this.
3. In the upstairs 2 double bed bedroom and twin bedroom, suggest having a table lamp. Not required, but I assume one was broken by a prior guest. Small investment of furniture solves this.

We enjoyed our stay in the Destiny East neighborhood. Our house silver blessings worked perfectly for our family vacation. House was clean and roomy. If planning your trip come prepared with extra toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, spices,etc. Swimming pool in the backyard was a perfect for the kiddos and a good break from the beach if needed!

More good than bad, but it had its challenges
The location is great and it was very easy to get to the beach using the golf carts. Unfortunately, we ordered an additional golf cart due to the large size of our group…it was delivered before we arrived but without a key and was placed directly behind the one included with the house so for the first 24 hours we could not use either. They mentioned ahead of time that there wouldn’t be room for 2 golf carts and 2 cars at the house so we’d need to park a car offsite, but that was not the case.
Overall the house was clean except for sticky bannisters and doorknobs. And the kitchen was well supplied with appliances and dishes, including an extra refrigerator in the garage. The only broken appliance was the crockpot, which we were surprised was there at all, but then were disappointed when we attempted to use it. The main refrigerator is also missing 2 shelves which significantly limits the amount of things you can keep in there, so the garage fridge was used heavily. The backyard area is beautiful but the heat was a little challenging. You can only heat either the pool or the spa at any given time and it takes the pool several hours to warm up, the spa about 30 minutes. Not a huge deal as long as you plan ahead for your outside time. When the beach was windy (or after dinner) this area was a wonderful place to hang out.
The main challenge was in the overall size of the place. We had a group of 11 and the house is really only set up to accommodate 8 very well. There are beds shoved everywhere to get to the extra capacity, including bumped up against closets that can’t fully open because it’s so tight. The small bunk bed room didn’t even have enough space to keep any luggage - there is absolutely no space outside of the two beds except to walk into the room. Looks like it used to be the laundry room, which is now located in the garage, bumped up next to the golf cart. Additionally, at the table there is only seating for 8 so we had to bring in pool chairs to accommodate everyone. Same for the spa, only room for 8. I think if they reworked the beds and marketed it as a home for 8, it would be much better.
The last thing I wanted to highlight is that their rules/fine warnings are a little out of control. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs but never felt like we were at risk of being fined for every little thing. I’m sure it’s just in how it’s presented but it felt super over the top. We definitely wouldn’t rent from this company again.

Exterior wise I was disappointed at the pool cleanliness. It had not been vaccumed upon our arrival. I did call for help with this matter and they sent pool company to vaccum on Monday. Everything was clean and presentable, Just make sure you read ALL THE FINE PRINT! I thought we were getting a hot tub and a heated pool for the week, we did have a hot tub but the pool was colder than ****,so I called them and they wanted another $350 to heat the pool for the week that I then was informed that it was in the description of the property hidden in an extra window (read more window) that somehow I missed. I was not happy at all! If I would have seen that from the beginning, I would have probably spent the $350, but it was a surprise after I got there. Not sure why they have to hide **** like that in the fine print, but they shouldn't roll like that, It ruins peoples vacations!

Nice but not much in the house for extras.
There’s nothing in the kitchen as extras. No seasonings, very little pots and pans, only two garbage bags for the entire stay. We’ve done other VRBO houses and they come with way more. Only disappointment we had. Close to the beach, the 6 seater golf cart was nice to have. House was big and beautiful! Oh and for the garage door, press and hold to open and press to hold to close!

This was both our first time renting a house and our first trip to Destin. Overall the community and home were excellent. The house was clean and very roomy for our party of 7. Although I read reviews of a less than equipped kitchen with dull knives and poor cookware. We found everything to be fully functional. Yes, the knives could have been sharper but they worked fine as did the cookware.The pool was fantastic and used every day before and after the beach. The golf cart was a life saver and utilized every day.Our critique would be around the lack of cushions (pictured online) on the pool furniture. The foul odor from the bushes (which were overgrown) near the pool which got worse when humidity was higher, a mildew smell from the washer and concerns over how hot the outside of the dryer got although it struggled to dry our laundry. Several articles of clothing picked up black streaks/stains from the dryer. After inspection we found a black sticky substance in the dryer that we removed and didn’t find any additional stains. Additionally we did find dirty dishes in the cabinets and some of the cookware was not thoroughly cleaned and required scrubbing before use.We would however stay at Silver Blessings again as we really liked the home, community and location. Hopefully the comments are useful.
